Chapter 8

....Cannon's POV....

Forgetting all the complaints, I had against Mom and Dad since childhood, I decided to start afresh when they showed interest in me for the first time in my life.

I wanted to have a peaceful and happy life with Evana whom I loved whole heartedly from almost two years now and finally today we were going to get married.

Though at first our wedding was decided to keep a private affair just between the family members, Mom and Dad wanted otherwise.

They talked to Evana and her family and they agreed at last. It didn't matter to me though as long as Evana was happy with it.

I was already on nine clouds imagining Evana in my selected wedding gown. Her beautiful eyes, rose petal lips, brown hair, face with a light make up.

Her bridal image was set on my mind from the time we decided to get married.

So when Mom told me about the veil thing, I didn't mind because I felt her concern for me though I wasn't sure Evana would listen to such superstition like wearing a veil would
