Lucy's pov;After the cake cutting session, the people who came for the birthday party were all sitting in the living room with their glasses of wine on coffee tables, chatting away. Lucy's POV;"Mr Ackerman... Mr Ackerman, wake up... Tyler, wake up… Tyler…" I woke up Tyler with a soft voice. He looked at me in confusion for a second asking, "What are you doing here..." Lucy's pov;The next morning, At the dining table, I asked Tyler, "Do you know the cop who came last night? you two talked like you knew him.""I do," he replied. Lucy's POV;Tyler tapped on my shoulder which made me turn and look at him. He asked, "What are you doing here?" I realised that I was in the kitchen and answered him, "Making lunch." And continued washing the vegetables. "You just got your cast removed. Don't strain it by cooking. Leave it to me, I'll take care of it.""It's been four days already. My hand doesn't hurt anymore."He removed the apron while saying, "We got a Christmas dinner to attend this weekend so don't get yourself in trouble by cooking." He held my shoulders and made me walk to the living room, made me sit on the couch and said, "If you feel bored, watch television. The lunch will be ready in a while." Lucy's pov;"Your tutor will be here anytime now." Tyler said as he sat beside me on the couch. "Wasn't it soon?" "Don't worry. He won't be taking classes for you today. It's just an introduction. And there's a surprise for you."I ignored him and looked at the movie which I was watching before he came."Aren't you going to ask me about the surprise?" Lucy's pov;After waking up from the nap, I sat by the window and saw the garden. The snow which covered the garden's roof disappeared and I could see the flowers through it. While I was being surprised, Tyler walked in after a knock asking, "When did you wake up?" Lucy's pov;At the dining table, I took glimpses of Tyler for every bite of food I ate. How should I ask him if he saw me that day or not? Even if I ask him directly, what if he questions me back like what I was doing and for what I was looking for? Will I be able to answer that question? Lucy's pov;No matter how many knocks I heard I couldn't get out of bed. I felt heavier than a mountain, and as if every cell in my body was just a part of the earth itself.
