Chapter 31 - Elijah's Plan

Elijah's POV

He was sitting in front of his table, chewing on the cap of his pen. He was reading papers for the materials to be used in his jewelry design, and he still couldn't quite get the look he wanted.

As he leaned back and stared at the folder in his hand, the door to his office suddenly opened.

"Hi, Elijah!!" Venus approached him happily, but he motioned for her to stop with his hand. "What?" She seemed confused by his action.

"What are you doing here?"

"Just visiting and checking up on you. Is there something wrong with that?"

He lowered the folder and looked at Venus's face. "Weren't we okay in the past few days because of your tantrums?"

She smiled and approached him. "I'm okay now. I just had a hot temper back then."

"But seriously, we need to stop this."

"I won't get jealous anymore. Whoever it is, as long as it's just friends."

"No. I don't want to, Venus. It's better if you just spend your time with someone else."
