Silence enveloped the garden. Damn it. It’s super awkward. Like... really, really awkward. It is all my fault though and I won't deny that. I’m a nosy person but not all the time! I cleared my throat as I picked up a slice of a chocolate cake. I need to at least change the topic. I picked up my fork and sliced a tiny amount of cake. Good thing I already ate my fill earlier. If I didn’t, I would probably have indigestion. I’m not good at socializing and stuff like that. I’m a quiet, almost introvert person who don’t know how to start a conversation so don’t expect me to lift this damn mood easily. “ Oh, wow. This cake is delish.” “No, it’s not.” F*ck. Can’t you just go with the flow, dude? I’m about to die of suffocation in this heavy atmosphere, damn it! “H-Have you tried it?” “Yeah. And it’s horrible compared to the food I ate before.” He said as he raised his eyes to meet mine but I avoided it. I unconsciously gulp. He’s still arrogant even in this damn mood. I looked
Staring at the green house for a while drained my energy. Yeah, so don’t judge me. I continued eating the chocolate cake I was eating earlier but can notice how only small amount can be seen removed. I noticed Gavin looking at me with a weird look on his face. “What are you looking at?” I asked in a mean manner. It’s his fault anyway. I was trying to improve my mood earlier but he didn't want to. He didn’t even let me take back what I asked earlier. For f*ck’s sake, I did an effort to brighten the mood. “... Are you not full yet?” “No.” I said as I took a bite of a brown macaroon without taking my eyes off him. Oh gosh, it’s delicious! much better than that cake. Well, surely, this is my likings... pfft I feel my mood brightening up. I looked at the maid that’s been putting the food on the table. She was currently pouring some water in my glass when she noticed me looking at her. I smile at her a bit, making her blush and smile back. I guess Jane ordered her to bring more sna
Oh shit. There really is something here! I slightly dig a bit deeper until I saw what's in here. It was covered in dirt but soon realize it , Indeed.. it was a wood. And something like a... A treasure chest!? Damn! I immediately dug faster after a while I can aready see it clearly. It really is a treasure chest. It was dirty but I'm sure of it. He he, I feel like I've been lucky today! Who would have thought that under this massive space, a treasured chest is hiding beneath the ground?? Well, surely Gavin is rich and so, let's just not say things about how he only owns one single car despite of how big his land is. Bringing my attention back to this thing I got, I soon analyze it with great attention. Who knows, a curse or so would be the one hidden on it. The rope was tied in it. I move it close to me to examine it. There are designs, I slightly shook it but there's no sound coming from it. Maybe because it was really heavy. Now I understand why no matter how much force I ga
I can't help but to stumble back and drop the chest in my hands. I was shocked when a green, slimy thing fell to the top of my hand all of the sudden. It's a frog! I-no. It's not like I'm scared of frogs. It's just I was surprised and I didn't expect it to fall from... Above? "My lady! Are you alright?" I slightly flinched when I saw Silv beside me looking a bit worried. "Oh... it's nothing." I said then picked up the chest. I saw the frog looking at me so I glared at it. You slimy cute creature... I rolled my eyes on it and shook of the dirt in the box. "My lady, why don't you just take it to your room and open it there? Jane and the others might still be looking for you." Silv said as she picked up my shoes. I agreed and follow her. To be honest... I forgot my way back. Its not like I need to examine and remember each and every corner of this massive space right? You can't blame me for this thing is so wide that I don't even know my direction when I am inside the mansion
I looked inside the box and saw a big Jar with a puzzle pieces inside of it. It's like a child's puzzle... but... there were too many of it... well... I sighed. I looked like a kid playing detective sh*t like she saw on TV. Shooking my head, I then looked at the jar once again. I put the jar aside and picked up the letters that's piled up and tied up on the side. It looks old as well as the notes in the bottom of it. I examined it for a while before I noticed two stuffed toys. My forehead wrinkled. Why is there stuff toy here? Um... well... it is not that it is natural to see some puzzles that who knows how many it is when you count it but... Isn't it weird to see a stuff toys that is... A panda and a lion? It was big as my hand and a bit dusty. I shook the dust off and I ended up coughing. Damn. Is the owner of this treasure chest a kid? The way this stuff toys is covered with dust, I am really amazed by myself how the hell did I even guess what this animal stuff toy is. But.
Uhh. What… I pull my blanket closer to my body as I shift my position… What the?! I groaned as I ignored the pest that’s been ruining my sleep but… Who the f*ck dare mess with a sleeping person? I was peacefully sleeping for f*ck’s sake! Wiping my cheeks and halt for a moment when I felt something soft touch it. I groaned when it continued touching my face, making me open my eyes. The first thing I saw was a white colored… fur? What? I was about to touch it when suddenly, I saw a tongue and it’s teeth… I jolted up when it licked my cheeks. “Arf!” Ahh…. AAHHHHHH! I opened my mouth to scream but I couldn't make a sound. It stared at me while wagging it’ tail. WHAT.. WHAT IS A DOG DOING IN MY FUCKING ROOM! NO, WHY IS IT IN MY ROOM? I slowly strode away from the dog without breaking eye contact with it in case he suddenly bite or attacks me but he’s freaking following me. I was trying to get away as I strode to the corner of my bed, when my hand suddenly landed on nothing m
I stood there without moving. I can’t believe I’m feeling fear yet excited everytime I see this forbidden room. Of course I want to go inside and see if there really are corpses even though Gavin said it contained nothing illegal. But... will a thief admit he stole something? My mind won't be at ease until I see it. I wanna see it myself. With my own two eyes. I didn’t move and just stared at the chained door. “My Lady?” I glanced at Silv before looking at the dog in front of me who’s staring up at me while wagging its tail. He was still biting the hem of my dress. “Do you want to go there, Baby?” I asked, kneeling down and patting his head. I smiled at him as I secretly pull my dress off of his mouth. He was stubborn at first and didn’t want to let go but when I applied a little bit of force, I heard a tearing sound making me stop I can’t let another dress be in ruin. I wanna cry. Who know how much this dress cost. Like... I almost faint knowing the price of that dress I put
It was an uncomfortable breakfast. Luckily, the head maid seemed to notice my mood and took my lunch in my room. Chowie stayed with me ‘till late afternoon. We played different types of games that involved a dog. Luckily, there was no time that I felt bored. I wish I could have a dog like Chowie. It’s a shame that I can’t wish for Chowie since it’s obvious that Gavin treasures this cutie and it may be because of that woman… I sighed and patted Chowie’s head for the last time. It’s been an hour since Chowie lay down and started to sleep so we decided to return him to Gavin’s room. I looked at the surroundings. We're currently here at the main garden where tea parties are hosted. Not far from here, I can see the guards’ base. This garden is really beautiful… but I will make mine more beautiful and unique since I’ll plant some veggies and fruit there. “My lady, Master has sent you a present!” I turned to look at Silv then wrinkled my forehead when I heard what she said. Gavin
