Dean looked at me and I at him then I started laughing, did he really think that I would believe that whole " I was there " crap? He's barely even eighteen and he's talking about being present at something that probably took place centuries ago.
I wiped tears from my eyes and smiled in ecstasy at how much that cracked me up but when I looked at Dean and then and Kyle, they looked so serious that I thought I offended them.
" What?" I asked Dean and he cleared his throat and shifted uncomfortably on the bed.
" I think he's telling the truth Lynn" he said and I scoffed.
" Oh please! He's barely even eighteen - the oldest he can be is nineteen and that's just me being generous with my guessing. How could he have been there when he wasn't even born."

Darren opened his eyes and groaned in pain as he felt chains on his arms and legs. He was in his room, so he wondered who would chain him. He closed his eyes and he saw himself as a vampire hunting down Sharlynn and his eyes flew open again as realization hit him, he tried to kill Sharlynn right after killing countless numbers of young women and piling them in a heap.He heard footsteps and looked in the direction of his door that was flung by his sister's clumsy magic." Darren was mortified as he watched Sharlynn's face become pale. He knew he shouldn't have come to school, now the girl he's crazy about has just found him in his bloodthirsty state yet again. Sharlynn stood in front of the largest building she had ever seen in Hollow hills and wondered if she was in the right place. She didn't think that Kyle lived there, he didn't strike her as the extremely rich type even though he had the pride for it.She touched the thick iron Gates and saw strange inscriptions on it along with subtle illustrations of wolves on the gate. If there were werewolf drawings on the gate, then she might be wrong about Kyle not living there.She sighed and looked at the address Mr. Gerard gave her and checked for the umpteenth time if it matched with the address she saw in front of the building before she put it in her bag and reached out her hand to ring the doorbell outside the gate." Later that night after Sharlynn's mom came back from the hospital where she'd been working, Sharlynn thought about how she would tell her mom that she was going to a party. After thinking long and hard about it, she decided she would just dress up for the party, and then when her mom sees how psyched she is to attend the party she would let her go.The thought of opening her closet made her unhappy because her clothes weren't much anymore. Just the ones her parents were able to save from the fire were on her bed and she felt weird putting very few clothes in the closet because it looked three times larger than her old one. The atmosphere was so tense as Darren drove Sharlynn to the Ridge residence. She was so pissed at Ricky-Shawn that she felt a murderous intention forming in her so the only option left was to ditch the party so she wouldn't entertain any harmful thoughts.She groaned several times as Darren drove and her anger escalated when she saw him smiling widely." Darren had the best night of his life while he was with Sharlynn, they spent the whole night talking, kissing, and cuddling but even though he wanted more, he didn't want to rush her. With the way they couldn't seem to get enough of each other Darren wasn't sure if they would even sleep at all, but when Sharlynn finally slept he followed suit and had a good night's sleep for the first time in fifty years.He usually had nightmares about his five-year-old self being torn from his mother and condemned to death by burning and when he woke up from such nightmares, he would be so uncomfortable.Today was however different. Darren looked at the faces of everyone gathered in the basement of their house.
