As Sharlynn walked away angrily, she saw Ricky-Shawn talking to a certain man. He didn't seem lost, on the contrary, he seemed to know exactly where he was! It all made sense to her now. Darren opened his eyes and groaned in pain as he felt chains on his arms and legs. He was in his room, so he wondered who would chain him. Sharlynn stood in front of the largest building she had ever seen in Hollow hills and wondered if she was in the right place. Later that night after Sharlynn's mom came back from the hospital where she'd been working, Sharlynn thought about how she would tell her mom that she was going to a party. After thinking long and hard about it, she decided she would just dress up for the party, and then when her mom sees how psyched she is to attend the party she would let her go.The thought of opening her closet made her unhappy because her clothes weren't much anymore. Just the ones her parents were able to save from the fire were on her bed and she felt weird putting very few clothes in the closet because it looked three times larger than her old one. Darren had the best night of his life while he was with Sharlynn, they spent the whole night talking, kissing, and cuddling but even though he wanted more, he didn't want to rush her.
