Darren was mortified as he watched Sharlynn's face become pale. He knew he shouldn't have come to school, now the girl he's crazy about has just found him in his bloodthirsty state yet again.

" Darren, did you kill the deer?" She asked simply, her expression was blank but he still felt she was afraid of him. He wiped his mouth clean and walked away from the spot where the deer laid on the ground with Sharlynn following him. 

He turned around and stared at her because he couldn't understand why she was following him instead of running. 

" What are you doing?" He asked and she folded her arms and said, " I want to know if you killed the deer, that's all." 

" I did, I thought it was better than killing actual humans, but it only made me feel like more of a monster - and I already know that's what you think of me so just spare me the talk." He said as he waved her dismissively and started to head
