Chapter 5

ALLISON'S P.O.V.

I walked to my room, trying not hold my tears within as I breathe hard. I really meant nothing to him, I was nothing but a breeder and a mistress. Tears rolled down my eyes as I shut the door and I tried to breathe. 

I can't do this, no I couldn't

I sobbed loudly as I curled myself in a ball. My little hope was shattered, according to everyone this child was a key to freedom but to me, it was a reason for him to love me, and now he is suddenly getting married. 

“Allison?” The door opened, and I heard Francis's voice, which made me look at him with blurry sight.

I felt his arms wrap around my fragile body and I couldn't help but relax yet my heart still hurts. He had rejected us unintentionally without thinking twice, and now I have no choice but to follow the plan, I didn't want to.

“Did you know her?” My voice crack and I felt his body stiffen, then it suddenly relaxed.

“I did. I didn't know how to tell you when you said you both were mates, but I didn't think Orion will make such a drastic decision as well” I pulled away from him as I wiped my tears away gently. 

“It's his life, he made the decision. I'm just his mistress and his heir's breeder, nothing else”

“Allison…"

“No, it's better off our mate bond stays broken, and he never finds out about it. I'll give him the baby and leave immediately, if I have to stay in the woods for a few days before getting somewhere else to stay then it's fine, if I die it's also fine” I gave him a tight smile before getting on my feet.

“Allison you don't have to do this…"

“I have to. I'll tell him later at night, just do me a favor and keep shut until then” I looked at him with a bit of hope and I nod in agreement. 

“Alright, I'll keep shut like I promised”

“Thank you” He left the room and I let out a sigh

This was the opportunity I had. As much as I had grown to love Orion, I couldn't keep my life or my child's life in danger. I had no rights to love him according to him, then he had no rights to be the father of this child even if he is. 

I picked a bag from the closet and put little clothes and food that would be enough for a few days. I knew I had lied to Francis and I feel completely awful but at this point I had no choice, Francis was going to stop me if I had told me, so I chose to lie to him for my safety.

I pushed the bag underneath the bed as I heard a footstep close to the door, and it flew open revealing Orion and unlike before when I felt scared of him and admired him, right now, I felt nothing but disgust 

“The wedding is two days, I want you there, Allison. If you miss it, you will regret it” He warned, and I could tell that he was up to something but didn't care about it.

“Yes Sir” He left the room and locked the room before heading towards the balcony

I jumped down with the help of my wolf and took the bag before heading towards the east end of the pack. I followed a tunnel I had found a few days ago and as soon as I was out of the pack I was greeted by not one but several Rogues.

“Well what do we have here?” One of them asked and I recognized him as their Alpha due to his aura.

ORION'S P.O.V.

“Oh my God…" Shelly moaned out and I could help but yearn for more. 

She was nothing like Allison, but I was betrothed to her and not Allison. I found her alluring, Allison, on the other hand, was just good in bed and dud nothing but irritate me with his loosed she was. 

“We have a problem” Francis's voice interrupted my pleasuring moment which made me growl

“Deal with…"

“We can't find Allison anywhere” I opened my eyes and Immediately threw myself off Shelly as I began to wear some clothes 

“Baby…"

“I'll be back” I left the room without waiting for her response and I could see the havoc going around as everyone held a worried expression and fear on their faces which I barely care about “Francis!” I yelled and the entire house fell silent.

“I'm right here” He looked at me with lazy eyes and I felt the need to get this man killed

“What the hell do you mean by you can't find her? You had one fucking job, Francis, and she slipped away”

“She was meant to come to you an hour ago, but I didn't know where she was after I realized you were with Shelly!”

“Shelly will be your Luna, show some damn respect, or I'll have you beheaded”

“I don't give a damn about who Shelly will be, but she's certainly not my Luna. The only person I consider to be my Luna is gone, she loved you Orion”

“Allison is my mistress!”

“She's your mate!” He growled at me and I felt the boiling rage within me that made me punch him in the face, “... Punch me all you want, but that won't change the fact that she is”

“She's playing…"

“I would have thought that as well, but she's not playing this time. This isn't Carol, Orion. This is Allison and last night when you were out there having fun with Shelly, Allison was in the damn hospital because of you! The mate mark was there, the sign of betrayal, everything was there. Your curse changed….”

“Stop!!” I growled as I pinned him against the wall.

I felt disrespected, the urge to punch him in the face, the urge to slice his throat into to, but something didn't feel right about everything he was saying

“Orion find her, Allison can't survive in the woods all alone with a child in her womb” My eyes widened at the realization of her being pregnant
