Willow’s POV

The moment I stepped into Mia’s apartment, I felt a bit of relief sip into my bones. I was glad the house was empty.

I wouldn’t have wanted her mother to see me like this.

“My brother is on the night shift and my mum traveled to see her family” Mia explained, locking the door behind us with a reassuring click.

She led me to the small dining table and pressed a cool glass of water into my hands.

“Willow, talk to me. What happened? You look like you’ve been through a lot”

Should Lucas step across the threshold and risk the bond pulling them closer, or should he play it safe and stay in the hallway?

  • His Brother's Fated Mate   Don't Confuse Me

Willow’s POV“Do you want to come in?” The words were out of my mouth before I could stop them.I saw Lucas’s composure shatter for a split second. His mask of indifference slipped, and for a heartbeat, he looked at me with such raw intensity that it made my knees weak. His gaze ran over my face, lingering on the bruise on my cheek, before he shoved a hand through his dark curls, looking agitated.“No,” he responded, his voice sounded raspy. He stepped back quickly like he was scared of changing his mind. He turned around and slipped into the shadows of the hallway as if staying a second longer would break him. I shut the door, my heart was confused. When I turned around, Mia was practically vibrating with excitement. I pulled the phone out of the black bag to show her, and her jaw dropped.“No way! Willow, this is the latest model!” she squealed, grabbing the device from my hand. “We can finally call each other whenever we want! I’m going to download everything: Instagram, TikTo

She led me to the small dining table and pressed a cool glass of water into my hands. “Willow, talk to me. What happened? You look like you’ve been through a lot”I stared into the water, my reflection was distorted and pale. I didn’t know how to explain the mess my life had become or where to even start.“I got kidnapped,” I whispered, the words caught in my throat. The person at the bus station who I thought was helping me, must have taken me to Sir Augustus’s house.“I found myself in Sir Augustus’s house and ... he tried to touch...”My voice cracked, and the tears I’d been trying to hold back finally spilled over. The memory of his hands on me made my skin

  • His Brother's Fated Mate   Logan's POV

Logan’s POVI’ve always been an empath. Or at least, that’s the label Lucas threw at me whenever I cared too much about something he considered a "distraction." I think that’s why I fell so hard for Chloe. I didn't just see her beauty; I felt her light. It’s why I chose to be loyal to her even when the universe and goddess chose someone else for me.Being an empath means you don't just see a storm; you feel the rain in your bones. You feel emotions more strongly than anyone else. Certainly more than Lucas, who treats his heart like a locked vault. But in all my years of being open to the world, I had never felt a pain like this. It wasn’t just a heartbreak; it felt like someone had reached into my chest, grabbed my soul, and set it on fire.I was used to the heavy, suffocating sadness that came with living under my father’s roof. I was used to the sting of not being "Alpha enough" or being the twin who was "too soft." But nothing my father ever did to me compared to the agony of rej

  • His Brother's Fated Mate   A Death Sentence

Willow’s POVThe silence in the car was heavy, thick with the unspoken words hanging between the four of us. I stared out the window, watching the dark trees of the pack territory blur into a smudge of black.Lucas was the first to break the quiet. He didn't turn around; he just stared straight at the windshield.“It’s not about what you want, Willow,” his voice dropped into that low, commanding Alpha tone. “It’s about where you’re safe. You saw what happened tonight. You aren't equipped to be out there alone.”I wiped the last tears from my eyes “That man won’t come near me again. You all scared him straight. I think a set of claws to the shoulder is a pretty clear message.”Lucas’s jaw tightened. I saw his reflection in the rearview mirror. His eyes were dark with fury“If he wasn’t my mother’s brother, he’d be dead right now,” he muttered under his breath.Julian continued driving, the car was still heading towards the direction of the pack estate. I did not want tk go there. I di

  • His Brother's Fated Mate   Please... Don't

Willow’s POVThe heavy click of the lock sounded and the door creaked open. Sir Augustus walked in, that oily, self-satisfied smirk plastered across his face. He looked at me like I was a prize he’d finally reclaimed from a lost and found bin.I had never been so irritated at a person’s smile. It infuriated me so badly. “I knew I’d get you back,” his voice was smooth and terrifyingly calm as he stepped closer.I was so weak. My chest still felt like it had been hollowed out by a hot iron from the rejections, and my limbs felt heavy. But the second he moved toward the bed, adrenaline spiked through my veins. I jumped up instantly and backed away until my shoulders hit the cold wall.“Stay away from me!” I yelled, my voice trembled despite my best efforts to sound brave.“I paid for you, Willow. A lot of money” his eyes darkened as he continued his slow approach. “And I always get my money’s worth. You’ve caused me a lot of trouble, running off to the Alpha. It’s time you learned yo

  • His Brother's Fated Mate   Mind-Link

Lucas’s POVI tried to stay away. I really did. But my mind kept drifting to her. I wondered how she was doing.Willow had faced two rejections in a single day and the same day she got her wolf. That was enough to break a seasoned warrior, let alone a girl who had spent her life being treated like a servant.I walked to her door, my hand hesitating before I knocked. I never knocked but this was different. “Hey. It’s Lucas” my voice came out gentler than I intended but there was no answer. Just silence. “Can I come in?”Nothing. Not even the sound of her breathing..“If you don’t say something, I’m coming in” I warned. I waited five seconds, my internal alarm bells were starting to ring. I pushed the door open. The room was neat. The bed was made, the new clothes were still in the closet. But her old, battered bag was gone. That only meant that…She had run away.“Shit!” I sprinted back toward the gym.“Do you have Willow’s number?” I roared at Logan the second I burst back in.He j
