Marcus's POV

I like the attention she gives to me while I train and she's so pretty this morning. It's so hard for me to take my gaze off her and concentrate on the drill.

When I look at her, she's talking to Karen. From the look on her face, I can understand they weren't having a friendly conversation. When I asserted my ears close to their conversation. I hear her say, homeless girl.

I am so pissed off to hear that. How can she be so mean to Chloe?

I hate Karen. She's obsessed with me. After seeing me and Chloe yesterday, she kept giving me this jealous look which I didn't care about. I never liked Karen in the way she wanted, I just pitied her but now I hate her for what she's doing. I can bear her flirting with me, crossing the line sometimes, and following me to all places I go. She's the most annoying person I have ever seen in my life; she kind of wants to know everything about me but she couldn't succeed.

Karen thought I wouldn't find my mate and I would ask her to marry her because she thinks she's the only talented woman in this whole world and the perfect match for me. But she's so wrong and that's the reason she's extremely jealous right now.

But she went too far this time, she called my mate homeless, how dare she say that when she was once homeless too. When Karen was thirteen she and her mother came to my father and begged to take them in the pack. He pitied them so they got a place but now she acts as if she's royal and owns this entire place.

I hate people who aren't grateful and taunt the weakling. It's enough that I forgave her for so long. After bullying Chloe, I can't be silent anymore, I lost all the pity I had for her.

I'd be angry if she called anyone that, but she bullied Chloe because of me, her one-sided feelings for me is the reason.

I went there after the first drill and intervened when Karen was about to say that she was going to marry me. I coldly asked her not to stay away from them and I don't know how far she was going to do.

These days, she isn't taking my orders seriously. If she's going to be like this, then I would show her what I am capable of, which she will regret forever.

When everyone was training, I was extra strict today. I don't know why I am doing this, is this because I am trying to impress Chloe, no! I am just pissed off right now because what if Chloe thought something was going on between me and Karen. Then our distance would grow even more and I can't let that happen.

Chloe is already looking at me, I can feel that on my skin but her attention isn't enough for me. I want more from her. I don't know how I am going to ask that? Today I am going to invite her to my home and tell her the truth.

While they are handling weapons, Karen took the daggers and aimed at the mannequin just a few feet away from Chloe. She never used that before and the way she was aiming made me anxious. Just as I feared, splitting the air, the blades were going towards Chloe and she stood there, stunned.

Whether this is accidental or not, I am not going to forgive Karen. I shifted immediately to run faster and save her. But as I stepped, the bright white dazzled in the sunlight. Squinting my eyes, my steps paused to see Chloe in her wolf form.

I am astonished to know that she's a silver wolf, a rare breed and blessed by the moon goddess. She must be my Luna. I froze in the place where I stood and Chloe quickly evaded the daggers.

Her eyes were on me and I am glad to know who she is. I don't know what was going on in her mind but in my eyes, she looked powerful but also vulnerable. Her clothes were shredded into pieces and I know she would be naked if she shifts back to human form.

Her gaze moved towards Karen and left an angry growl. I shifted back to my human self and handed her a towel. She grabbed it in her mouth and ran away from this place. I let her go, I didn't follow her, she'd been mistreated on her first day and I feel so bad. Among all of this, I am so pissed off at Karen.

"You're detained for two months, don't come to the drill or don't show your face to me," I said and ended the training for today. Karen looked upset but still, she didn't have any remorse.

I made my way to the packhouse. Mark, who's so curious about my actions, followed me eagerly to know the answers.

"It was quite a drama," he commented and I glared at him.

"Enlighten me, Alpha Marcus," he chuckled and we came to the entrance of our house.

"She's my mate," I confessed, loudly.

"Chloe?"

"Yes, she's a silver wolf, she's my Luna. The one that's destined for me," I smiled.

"Wow," Mark grinned.

"Have you realized it now?"

"No. I found out that she's my mate when I saw her at the ball but I got to know that she's a silver wolf today. It's quite surprising,"

"Didn't you sense her silver wolf,"

"I felt weird but I was too engrossed in other things,"

"Have you said that you're her mate?"

"No, not yet,"

"Why?" Mark frowns.

"Because it's not quite easy for me and she kept avoiding me. Now it has turned even more difficult,"

"Why? There's no way she's going to reject you," Mark was confident when he said that.

"I know but what if she does. She might think I am after her because she's a silver wolf,"

"Is that true?"

"No, I like her the moment I saw her,"

Mark laughed. "Then what's your fucking problem? Just go and ask her,"

Seeing my silence, Mark remarked, "I thought you're the most imperturbable person I have ever seen but in this matter, you surprise me by your dumbness,"

"You know my life is different. I can't make decisions so easily as you say,"

Mark huffed.

"You know what, I already know that she's a silver wolf. My mate Lily, told me everything last night. In my opinion, Chloe is just like you, if you want to be with her, you need to take a step forward,"

"What am I supposed to do now?" I ask.

"Stop contemplating like this. Go and talk to her," Mark suggested.

"Chloe knows that I am her mate but she refuses to acknowledge that. I don't know why? Will she believe my feelings were genuine after today's drama? Will she accept me as her mate? What if she takes this all wrong?"

I grit my teeth in frustration, "What should I do? Should I kneel in front of her because I am a coward and couldn't protect his mate?"

Mark laughed out loud seeing me like this for the first time.

"Oh God, Marcus! If you want to know the answers, ask Chloe,"

"Yes, I am going to ask her,"

"Chloe, please tell him what you think," Mark said looking at the door side. I turned my head to see Chloe standing there. Her innocent eyes were glued to me. Her face looked dull.

She must have heard everything I said out of frustration.

Crap! This is so fucked up.

  • Mated To The Alpha   Epilogue

The morning of the wedding broke with a soft golden glow bathing the pack lands. The air buzzed with excitement, as though even the trees were whispering about what the day would bring. Flowers bloomed brighter. The birds chirped louder. Everything felt more alive.Inside the bridal chambers, Reva stood silently before the full-length mirror, the soft swish of silk brushing her ankles. Her gown was unlike anything ever seen—moon-white, embroidered with ancient runes that shimmered faintly in the light, whispering secrets only witches knew. It hugged her delicate frame in elegance, her long dark hair cascading in soft waves over her shoulders, adorned with silver vines and soft gardenias.“Reva,” Chloe whispered from behind her, her voice filled with awe, “you look absolutely magical.”Beside her, Lily gasped and grinned, her hands gently clasping Reva’s. “You’re glowing. Viktor’s going to lose it the moment he sees you.”Reva turned to them, her eyes glassy with emotion. These were not

  • Mated To The Alpha   Chapter- 102

One month had passed since the war ended, and with it came a kind of peace that felt fragile, like porcelain—precious, beautiful, and still healing from cracks that ran deep beneath the surface. The Stormborn territory had begun to breathe again. The scent of blood had faded from the fields. The ruins of broken walls had been rebuilt stone by stone, not just by the pack’s hands—but by unlikely ones too. For not all of Daven’s wolves had been loyal to his cruelty. Some had fought because they were bound. Others had fled after his death, lost and leaderless.Marcus, Alpha of the Stormborns, had welcomed them. Not all at once, and not without caution—but with fairness. He’d seen the brokenness in their eyes, the way they looked not for power but for redemption. They came with lowered heads, torn armor, and a haunted stillness that Marcus knew well. So he made the decision that surprised many, but defined his rule:No more blood would be spilled for Daven’s sins. And so, slowly, the former

  • Mated To The Alpha   Chapter- 101

The battlefield was no longer a place of war—but a graveyard of silence. The blood had dried. The fires had died out. The screams of pain and the clash of steel were now only memories etched into the earth. What remained was the slow, aching quiet of survival. The rising sun bathed the Stormborn territory in a golden light that felt too warm, too gentle for all that had happened. Its rays crept over the broken walls, the torn flags, the smoldering remains of the enemy camp. And with it came the first breaths of peace. But peace did not come without cost.Marcus stood near the edge of the eastern field, overlooking the burial grounds where the pack had begun laying their fallen to rest. His eyes were hollow with exhaustion, his arms crossed tightly over his chest. He hadn’t spoken much since the end of the battle. Not out of pain—but reverence. This was the part of leadership no one glorified. Not the fight. Not the power. The mourning. He watched as warriors carried bodies wrapped in c

  • Mated To The Alpha   Chapter- 100

Their blades met with a shriek of metal, the sound sharp enough to silence the battlefield—if only for a breath.Marcus pushed forward with his full strength, sparks flying as his sword crashed against Daven’s blackened steel. Muscles flexed, eyes locked, their feet digging trenches in the bloodstained earth beneath them. They broke apart, only to clash again a second later—steel against steel, fire against fire. This was no longer just a duel.It was a reckoning. The wind howled around them, lifting dirt and ash into the sky. Behind them, the battle still raged—cries of pain, growls of beasts, and the roar of spellfire—but Marcus heard none of it. The only sound that existed for him now was the steady drumbeat of his heart and the ringing echo of his enemy’s blade.Daven moved like a shadow—fast, controlled, merciless. His eyes glowed faintly, powered by blood magic still clinging to his veins. Every swing of his blade carried that darkness, and with it, a fury that had been festering

  • Mated To The Alpha   Chapter- 99

The sky was heavy with clouds, thick and unmoving, blanketing the land in a grim shade of gray. No sun broke through. No wind stirred the trees. Even the birds, once loud in the early dawn, had fallen silent. It was as if the world itself was holding its breath. And then—they heard it.The low rumble of hooves, the distant growl of beasts, the rhythmic thud-thud-thud of marching footsteps pounding the earth.Daven’s army had arrived. From atop the fortress wall, Marcus stood like a sentinel, his dark cloak snapping in the breeze, his arms crossed over his chest. His golden eyes scanned the treeline beyond the western ridge where shadows moved—thousands of them. The first wave appeared slowly, emerging from the fog like nightmares given form. Rogues with snarling jaws and matted fur. Warlocks with skeletal markings burned into their skin. Beasts that had once been wolves, now corrupted by forbidden rituals—twisted, monstrous things that didn’t seem to feel pain or fear. And at the cente

  • Mated To The Alpha   Chapter- 98

For the first time in weeks, Viktor let his shoulders drop. The castle’s northern wing was quiet, untouched by the hum of war preparation. Here, lanterns glowed softly, casting golden halos across the stone walls and polished wooden floors. The chamber he shared with Reva was modest, tucked beneath the old tower, its windows arched and open to the night air.Reva sat on the edge of the bed, brushing out her dark hair, still damp from the bath. Her eyes were closed, her body relaxed, her skin carrying the faint scent of pine and lavender. For all her power and ferocity in battle, in this moment she looked peaceful—like a moonlit enchantment breathing gently in the quiet.Viktor leaned in the doorway, arms folded, just watching her.He couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen her like this—not preparing spells, not bleeding magic, not exhausted and on the verge of collapse. Just herself.“Beautiful,” he murmured, the word escaping like a breath he didn’t mean to speak aloud.Reva opened
