Layla's POV

"Layla!!!" I could here Karen the head omega banging my door, at first I thought it was a dream until I heard her shrill voice a second time. I jumped only to hit my head on the floor. My seat toppled over sending me straight to the floor. I had been studying for my finals, I must have slept on my desk. I had my final paper today and my birthday the following day.

"I'm coming." I yelled pulling my maid uniform over my pajamas and tying my hair in a messy burn. I opened the door and rushed to the pantry thanking my lucky stars she had left. I picked all the ingredients before rushing to the kitchen. I am usually the one in charge of the baking. I once found a recipe book among my belongings and tried a recipe for chocolate cupcakes and that's how I ended up here. I'm not complaining since it got me off toilet duty.

I worked as fast as I could, after everything was ready I set them on trays asked Karen to inspect them then went flying into my room for a quick shower before rushing to school. The paper was fairly easy. I collected mine thirty minutes ahead of time then walked slowly back to the pack house. I should have been feeling low, because the library at school was my only escape when everything became overwhelming, and that was now gone but all I could think about was meeting my wolf. At least I'd finally have a friend. I shared a birthday with Lucy a very entitled bitch(sorry, language, but I don't take it back) who thought everyone owed her since the alpha prince had a thing for her. I had never met the alpha prince, and I was very okay with that but tomorrow I'll have to, since I'll be serving at Lucy's party.

When I got to the pack house I went straight to my room to change into my maids uniform. Since I was a couple minutes early I decided to rest for a while, and before I knew it I was in slumber land. In my dream I was on a tree sketching. Sketching was a hobby I picked up a while back, usually when I was not busy, I would climb up a tree to avoid being beaten by the other wolves and I'd sketch the people I'd see below. When I was younger I would get a beating from almost everyone except the prince since I never crossed paths with him but I heard he was a spoilt brat.

Back to my dream, I was facing a stream and there was a wolf laying there. I covered my scent the entire time. Only alphas were able to do that but I was lucky I could. I guess the moon goddess pitied me and decided to give me a way to hide from my oppressors. The wolf was midnight black with deep blue eyes. As I was almost finishing my sketch, the wolf transformed into the most handsome man I've ever laid eyes on. He was also stark naked and I could clearly see his chest flexing as he stretched. My eyes travelled lower and they soon landed on his member and I let out a silent moan as my panties got damp. It was only me and Lucy undergoing the shift but her entire family was there and her friends. Since I had no one I went far away from them. I had brought a huge bag of chips to keep me company. I found a log and sat on it. It felt like forever but soon I was counting the last five minutes to midnight. As the clock hit the twelve o'clock mark I could feel my bones realigning themselves. Painful is an understatement, it was excruciating. I curled on the ground in a fetal position whimpering. I could hear Lucy's scream from afar. I was trying not to scream in order to avoid attracting attention to myself since I was vulnerable and had no one to protect me.

After what felt like forever, I turned into a gigantic silver wolf with one gold eye and one red eye. I have never heard of a silver wolf before and one the size of an alpha too. Red eye meant alpha blood but I did not know what gold meant. Since I was afraid to run on my own in the dark, I turned back to my human form and put on my spare clothing since the one I had reaped and headed back to the pack house.
