"Can you stop with whatever you are doing?" I asked my friend Mia, who was a witch, and just like any other witch, she was using her spellbook and different types of herbs for making some potion. The whole house was smelling awful because of what she was doing.

"Why?" she said but didn't stop with her work.

I looked at Sebastian for some help, but he just shrugged as he knew very well, just like me, that Mia would do what she want. I sat beside my friend and kept my head on his shoulder.

"How was your day?" I asked him. "It was good, I got to drink the blood of a deer." He said and I responded with a hmm.

Sebastian was also my friend, a vampire, who would usually drink animal blood. He has a sunlight ring made by Mia and because of the ring, he could walk in sunlight. Let's not forget about him being Mia's boyfriend.

While Mia has a bubbly and cheery personality. Sebastian was savage, intelligent, and mature.... sometimes. They were perfect for each other while I was a third wheel living here.

 I was different from both of them. Stubborn, fierce, and badass. Though my wolf would think that I was cute.

Mia walked toward us with her dark blue orbs focused on the open page of the grimoire. Her blond hair was tied in a ponytail and I felt a tinge of jealousy. 

'She is beautiful' that was all I could think. 

Her tanned skin was like the cherry on the top, just increasing her beauty and there was me, a girl with light brown hair and chocolate brown eyes with freckles on my cheeks.

"Stella, are you free tomorrow?" Mia looked at me and after kissing Sebastian on the cheeks, she sat on the sofa in front of us.

"Yeah but-" before I could complete my sentence she interrupted me "You are coming with me for collecting some herbs tomorrow."

Let's just say that I was going to be hella bored tomorrow.

"This is so beautiful." My annoying yet best friend said the same thing for the thousandth time.

"Mia, can you tell me what is the difference between all the trees, they are all same. Why do you look so amazed by every single tree?" I asked her. But.......she just ignored me.

"I think you should use your magic for getting us where you want to go." I was bored and fed up because of walking for so long.

"Remember, you asked for It," she said as 8 years ago all three of us made a promise of not using our power on each other until needed, or we asked for it.

"Ow, my butt!" I complained as both of us landed on the ground. My butts were the ones that made painful contact with the ground first.

"Was landing on the ground necessary?" 

"My poor butts." My friend rolled her eyes and gave me a small bag.

"Don't be so dramatic, when you get the herb keep it in this bag, now hurry!" She said as if she just wanted to be done with this fastly.

As she had already told me what the herb look like, I started searching for it because I knew something was wrong. I could tell from her voice that she was worried. 

While searching for the herb I couldn't help but feel like I knew this place or have been here before. Just as I was about to turn toward Mia for telling her that something did not feel right, I saw the herbs.

After taking enough amount of the herb I was about to walk towards the female who was still looking around when I saw a group of wolves in some distance.

The group was led by a black wolf. He was different from other wolves in size,  much bigger than any other, and in color. Wolves like him, pure black, were very rare.

"Oh shit!" Mia came out of nowhere, took my hand, and started running like never before. 

"How did they know we are here?" I was confused because we came here by magic and no one was present around us.

Who smelled a rogue? I mean me, all this was making me confused.

"Where are we?" I asked, the group of wolves was nearing us. Trees passed by, I didn't know where we were going. Sun was still glaring down on earth with the same intensity as the wind was blowing. 

An odd, uncomfortable, and unknown emotion was creeping into my heart. 

"W-we....we are in Blue moon pack." My friend said.

How could she bring me here? When she knew how much I hated this place.

"You have to help us! As my magic won't work here."

Well, I didn't know what to say or do. But suddenly an idea came to my mind, without a word I took control and dragged her with me to the place from where I knew we could escape.

Both of us had climbed the tree. The wolves who weren't so far could be seen from here, therefore, I spoke in a hurry.

"I will try to distract them, you should run as fast as you can and then do the magic from outside." She nodded and without further ado, I jumped from the tree. After changing into my wolf form, I was standing in front of a group of male wolves.

There Alpha who was leading them was standing right in front of me, some inches away, but I didn't move back. He howled as it was a sign of disrespect to stand so close and not lower my head in front of him. But I howled back which I think made him angry.

'Don't you think we are in trouble because of this?' My wolf said.

'Nah, he is not our Alpha.' I said, but I was afraid of him because of his big size.

He howled louder and this time I looked into his eyes just to show him that I was not afraid of him. Well..........it looked like Moon Godness have planned something else cause the moment our eyes met my wolf said a word that was supposed to be good but now it sounded like a curse.

'Mate'

It was the most unexpected and worst thing ever. Who knew this incident would change my whole life.
