26. Silence Before Storm

To say it was hard getting Xavier to understand why I sneaked out would be an understatement because it was more than hard.

He knew I was lying when I said I missed my friends and wanted to have breakfast with them but in the end, he shut his mouth as he knew I was also getting angry because he wasn't trusting me. Though I felt bad for lying, the truth wasn't good for him.

It has been days and nothing...nothing happened. No attack, no wolf, no red-eyed guys leaving messages. I didn't know should I be happy that nothing has happened yet or worried that something big was about to happen.
