Chapter Three

Olivia's POV

I swear to God, I'm gonna show these girls what I am made of.

My wolf might be the omega but I am still Olivia Wilde and I am not weak, it's the circumstances surrounding me that are unstable. It doesn't give anyone any right to put me down or insult my family.

" Hello, students! How is your morning going?" Mr. Nimoy asked as he adjusted his medicated lenses and commenced teaching.

We had two more classes after him before the bell rang, for our lunch break.

Immediately after the teacher left, the class became a little noisy as students be trooping outside.

The white fur Musketeers stood up and stood up with them and proceeded in front of 'em four.

" The next time you talk such scrap about my personal life again, you're going to wish you never had a tongue." I dropped a warning at their faces, Nora precisely. Already having my bag with me, I started walking away with Paige scampering behind me.

I heard them chuckle but I didn't bother to look back at them.

" Seriously, those girls are turning into something else," Paige said as we headed to the canteen together.

" Soon, I'm gonna shut them up for good. One way or another." I replied still feeling a bit furious.

We came into the canteen and ordered some lunch which we had together and when the break was over, we returned to our class for further lessons.

 We received two more lectures before the last bell rang for dismissal and that was so pungent. I mean, I was going to see Jaden.

" Don't forget to get ready for the party tonight, Olivia. You know we have to be there on time so we can be able to sit in the front row and get noticed tonight by Alpha Kurt. Paige was enthused as she escorted me to where my driver was already waiting. 

" you are too much girl," I muttered while I shook my head and she giggled.

" so... Are you going to visit Jaden at his hostel?" She queried and I nodded my head with a smile.

" But Olivia, how particular are you about dating Jaden? I mean sure he Is Alpha Kurt's stepbrother but he is acting too nice to be true and you barely know this guy."

" well, that's because we just started dating barely a month ago. You don't expect him to be open instantly." I countered and she sighed.

" Whatever, I just have this strange feeling about the guy. Why does he want you to come over to his hostel anyway, isn't he supposed to be here for his brother's welcome party? She asked as we finally arrived at where my car is parked.

" How am I supposed to know? He just wanted me to come over" I replied and tucked my hair behind my ear.

" And you feel comfortable going to his hostel where he stays all alone?" She specifically said and I shrugged.

" well, MOM. he doesn't stay alone he has a roommate." 

Why is she trying to freak me out?

" Paige please, I need to go now. Jaden is a nice guy, so stop having negative thoughts about him." I told her and touched her cheek. She gave me quick hug.

" Just be careful, okay? And don't forget to get ready for the party on time."

" Uh-huh. Bye." I replied to her and we waved at each before she started. I jumped into the car and my driver zoomed out.

I gave my driver the location of the school hostel while he drove me there, a call came in and I quickly checked my phone, it was Jaden. As if he knew I was thinking about him.

" Hey." He called and sighed softly at the pitch of his voice.

" H-hi " I replied, unexplainable feeling squirmy.

" What's up, babe?" You are still coming over right?" He asked and I nodded as he could see me.

" I'm actually on my way as we speak," I told him and I could tell it lifted my y mood.

" Okay, babe. I'll be waiting. See you soon. Drive safely okay?" 

" Yeah, sure. See you" I dropped the call.

I heaved a sigh as I brushed my fingers through my hair and stared through the window of the car, admiring the beauty of nature.

Paige's words suddenly flashed in my mind. I don't know much about Jaden. I mean we've been together for barely a month and aside from the fact that he was nice and was Alpha Kurt's stepbrother, there's nothing more I know about him. I guess I felt close to him because we both have an almost similar fate as infants. He had no wolf, and I am a mere omega. Everyone including our family looked down on us because we are a nonentity.

I was young and knew nothing about love, I never got the opportunity to witness a real relationship bond, My father cared less about me since I was an embarrassment. I guess I just needed to feel loved and wanted by someone, and Jaden showed me all that since the day we met during his visit to one of his friends at school. He appeared to be such a nice gentleman when he helped me pick up my bag after those White fur Musketeers tried to bully me. Ever since he has never given me a reason to doubt his intentions.

I exhaled deeply and shrugged off the thoughts, I'm sure with time I will get to know more about him.

We finally got to my location and the driver pulled over in front of his hostel driveway. I opened the van and came out with my bag.

" you can go ahead, Mr. Bruno. I'll take it from here."   I instructed my driver and he nodded and drove off.

I adjusted my skirt and went ahead to his apartment. I got there and rang the doorbell twice before his roommate opened the door for me.

" Hi, is Jaden in?" I made das he stood gaping at me.

" Oh, you're Olivia right?" He asked and I nodded.

" Please come on in, Jaden is in his room." He added and continued out while letting me into the apartment.

" You're leaving?" I asked him.

" oh, yeah. I have lectures now that's why," he explained and started immediately.

Once the door was shut, I made my way into the apartment. It looked the same as the first time that I visited.

While I stood there scanning the entire room, Jaden walked in wearing a pair of black rugged jeans and a white tank top.

" Hey!" He called with a smile as his pretty eyes beamed at me.

I smiled back at him.

" You're here! " he walked up to me and pulled me into a quick hug.

" please seat. " He ushered and I sat down on the sofa, dropping my backpack beside me. "How was school?" 

" Same as always," I replied leaning back on the couch.

" oooh! Sounds boring as hell." He said with a chuckle and sat beside me, throwing his hand around my shoulder.

" Thanks for honoring my invitation, malady." He gestured with a bow.

" Why aren't visiting for your brother's welcome party?" I asked.

I noticed his mood changed." Nothing, I just have a lot to do at school and besides, he is not going anywhere, I will visit him whenever I'm changed." He retorted.

" But..." 

" Babe just let it be, do you want us to enjoy each other's company or talk about my brother?" he stood up, kind of gaslighting me but I tried to understand his point, I mean, coming from someone who is never regarded as something. I know what that feels like when you know that no matter what you do, you can never live up to the expectations of the people around you. I see that repudiation each time I looked at my father.

I exhaled lightly and tucked my hair behind my ear. Perhaps I should let it go.

I reached for the TV remote and turned on the flat screen in the room.

Perfect, and interview with Mr. Perfect. He must be enjoying all the attention.

I folded my hands and rolled my eyes before settling to watch.

Well, I must admit he's a pretty good businessman, and he looks handsome.

Jaden came in not long after a while with a bottle of wine and two glasses, he dropped them on the table and sat next to me.

" Did you miss me?" He asked as he picked up the wine and tried opening it.

" maybe." I reacted with an eye roll and he laughed.

He opened the wine and after pouring it into two glasses, he handed one to me.

" Thanks" I accepted the drink from him and took a sip.

Hmm, quite refreshing.

I took my eyes back to the TV which was still about Alpha Kurt, and talking about his next plan for our City got my attention.

" You're also a lover?" Jaden asked, pointing to his brother with his glass, and I shrugged.

" Kind of, maybe," I replied and he snickered

 " That's a funny reply, you know. You mean you aren't sure if you like him or not?" He scoffed and took a sip of his wine.

I could sense an ounce of spite in his tone and the way he was acting so unusual.

" Well, I do like him but... I don't drool over him as most of the girls in the city do." I stated and he scoffed.

" Wow, I guess that's what she's you special. He drew closer to me. You are not like the other girls." He muttered wrapping his hand around my shoulder and I smiled.

" are you going to the party tonight?" He asked gazing into my eyes.

" Yeah, Paige insisted I come with her. You know how she can be." 

" do you always have to please her?" He said with a frown.

I scoffed. "It's not like that. I mean she is my best friend. She can't force me to do what I don't want to."

" Then don't go to the party." He persuaded.

" Why may you not be to attend the party? " 

" Well, like you said. You don't like him that much and I just don't want you to get hurt considering the multitude that will be there at the party." 

" Is that why you are not attending your brother's welcome party." 

" Just forget about it, Olivia. Tell me, how are you coping with your father? He asked, trying to change the topic.

I wonder why Jaden is acting that way towards the discussions about his brother.

" We are doing just fine," I replied in a low tone and drank from my glass again.

He didn't say anything for a while and I turned to and looked at him to be sure he was still with me.

" Olivia." He called and held my right hand. There is something I need to tell you."

I dropped my glass of wine on the table and adjusted properly to face him.

" Okay, what is it?" I queried. Waiting for a response.

He also dropped his glass on the table and held my two hands.

" Olivia." He called staring into my eyes. 

" Don't you think it's time?" He asked and I furrowed my brows in confusion.

What's he talking about?

" Time for what?" I asked, not having a flick about it.

He looked down and sighed and the next time he lifted his head, he kissed me.

What?

My eyes dilated in surprise as I snatched my hands away from his and pushed him away.

" Jaden!" I yelled as I unlocked from the kiss, my heart throbbing so fast.

Why would he do that? Yes, I am quite aware of our relationship but I wasn't ready for a kiss.

I tried standing up but he held my hand and dragged me back to the sofa, pushing me backward as I laid back on the sofa.

What's going on?

Subsequently, he came on top of me and tried to force a kiss.

" Jaden stop, please. Get off me." I pleaded a is struggled with him. But he weighed me down and went for my breasts.
