I was the only passenger in the cab and I kept looking out for signboards to be sure the driver was taking me to the right place.

“Hey; don’t you think you should get that arm treated? I could take you to a clinic” the driver said from the front seat, staring at me from the mirror.

“It’s none of your business. Just keep driving” I answered bluntly.

Minutes later, the cabby pulled over in front of my destination, and without hesitation, I stepped out of it.

“Hey, Miss! Where’s my money?” The driver asked, shit I didn’t reply as I ran away.
