Chapter Two

Olivia's POV

After looking all dulled up and making a double check to be certain that I missed out on nothing to look perfect. I picked up my leather black bag and strutted out of my room.

I got to the dining and breakfast had already been served. A bowl of oatmeal and fruits, with a glass of juice.

It was so tiresome eating all by myself, even though I was slowly getting used to it since my dad never cared to spare a little time with me. 

Sometimes I wished my life was a little different and simple from all of this.

After eating my meal halfway through, I stood up and started off the house to the garage, where the driver was already waiting for me.

" Good morning Miss Olivia." He greeted me as I approached the car.

" Good morning Mr. Bruno," I replied cursorily and shuffled in, taking the back seat, while he hopped into the driver's seat and zooms out.

I brought out my phone and played a game to while away time before getting to school.

I was quietly enjoying the music playing on the Car radio until they started with the news of Alpha Kurt Cobain's return. Great

I laid back on the seat letting out a deep sigh while I was compelled to listen to the news.

 " It's been quite an amazing morning as Great lake city wakes up to the wonderful news of the grand return of Billionaire Kurt Cobain after his thirteen months trip to Asia. As the personal advisor to "de Kurt Cobain", would you like to address the city on his behalf? " The presenter asked.

" Of course, yeah. I mean it's been an amazing trip with Mister Cobain. He's been an awesome boss and he has big dreams for this city." He replied, chuckling softly.

" Well, I think that's a wonderful announcement and I'm sure the city of Great lakes can not wait to witness these big dreams." The presentation continued.

" of course, It should be something everyone should await and witness as well. Thank you great lake city. Thank you!" His PA stated.

" That's it, people of Great lake city, our hero is back and we can't wait to see more of him." The presenter asserted.

I sighed and took my eyes back to my phone. Geez! His picture was all over the internet.

I can't believe this Kurt! Kurt! Kurt! Everywhere, can't they think of anything else?

I rolled my eyes and went back to my mobile game.

Thereon, we arrived at Great Lakes High, my school. Once the driver pulled in by the school driveway and packed the car, I opened the door and jumped out.

" Have a nice day ma'am," he said as I jammed the car door. I waved at him and started into the school.

As I walked along the school hallway, the entire school kept buzzing with the news of Kurt's arrival. Each student I came across was in pairs and groups, talking about none other than obvious while surfing the Internet with their phones.

" He's so dreamy." 

" I wish I could see what's behind those expensive suits."

" you know that will never happen, He is way out of your league." 

" Oh Alpha Kurt. I wonder who his Mate is, I'd commit murder just to have him all to myself.

Geez!

I whirled my eyes and tried to ignore the whole buzz but it was impossible since the entire student wouldn't stop chanting his name.

I took the stairs and hurried up to my classroom. It was even worse in there.

As anticipated, every student in the room was in groups and pairs, talking about " De Mighty Alpha"

I sighed and continued to my seat where Paige was already seated and waving at me. We seat in the same roll and go to almost every class together.

" Hey, Chum." She beamed at me when I got there and sat beside her.

She left her seat and sat on the seat in front of mine while facing me closely.

" Hey." I rolled my eyes and replied, recollecting how she disrupted my beauty sleep because of Alpha Kurt.

" Come on Vee. Don't tell me you are still mad over what I did this morning. You should be pleased you get to see my Alpha's cute face early in the morning. She muttered, pouting her lips.

" Whatever, you can be so irritating with your Little crush drama. Paige." I told her and she chuckled.

" Anyways, why aren't you delighted about Alpha Kurt's return. I mean, it's an honor living in the same city as him." She said ecstatically.

" Like I will get to touch him and it's gonna solve all of my problems or add anything to my life," I replied sarcastically.

" Hilarious, Olivia. You act like you don't like him, but deep down inside I know you would go crazy if he came closer to you." She teased me while she kept creasing her eyebrows at me.

" The last time I recalled, I have a boyfriend. Paige." I smirked and arranged my skirt impressively.

" That weird boyfriend of yours? Come on Olivia, can't you see? You are not in love with him, you are just in love with the idea of love." She confided and I hit her on the arm.

" Are you nuts? Quit yapping your folly, alright? I like Jaden a lot." I told her and she rolled her eyes with a 'whatever '.

" By the way, Vee. I hope you will be coming with me to the homecoming party of Alpha Kurt tonight? I've already picked out a cute dress." She shrieked and I scoffed.

" I'm not going. You can find someone else." I replied.

Well, of course, that was a lie. I mean, it's a Friday night. What will I be doing all alone at home?

" Are you kidding me, Olivia? The entire city will be there so please don't tell me you are gonna miss out on this grand party. Either way, I'm taking you with or without your consent " She whined.

" Oh? Well, I'd love to see you try."

She leaned on my desk and started scrolling through a million pictures of Kurt on her phone.

" Oh, Olivia. He is so dreamy. I wish I could sneak into the VIP section later tonight and get a whiff of him." She murmured wistfully.

" He is hosting a different party at tonight's party?" 

" Yeah, for Family and VIPs only? I heard it was his stepmother's idea. You know how much she claims to adore him. "

" How did he even end up leading such a disgusting life anyways? I heard he lost his mom at a young age and then his father remarried his stepmom who gave birth to my awesome boyfriend, by the way. He worships his elder brother like a god, Still, he keeps him under his shadows all because he has no wolf. How greedy is that man?"

Some girls who were beside us suddenly turned and looked at me. That was when I realized I had been a bit loud.

I furrowed my eyebrows at them and they looked away and continued with their discussion.

Yeah, you better look away.

"Well, that's certainly not the whole truth, my dear friend. " Paige started in a calm tune now.

" what you have is just an assumption, Olivia. Alpha Kurt has two stepsisters and a brother. And I can promise you that Alpha Kurt loves his siblings more than anything in this world, that includes his stepmom. Everything he does is to give them the best in life and to keep their family together. it is not his fault if the city loved him this much, he was made that kind. It's just you who sees him the wrong way."  She explained.

" Wow, how nice of him." I quipped not trusting her words.

" You don't believe me? Alright fine, Let me put it down in more detail. Alpha Kurt was just Four years old when he lost his mom in an accident, at the moment the Supreme alpha found help in Mrs. Frida who was the Late Luna's best friend when she took up the responsibility to nurture and care for poor little Alpa Kurt. A few years later, the supreme Alpha decided to make Frida his wife and gave Alpha Kurt a new mother. But rumor has it that Mrs. Frida isn't such a gem as she portrayed herself to be, especially in front of Alpha Kurt. She said and looked around before leaning closer to my face. I heard that all she had done all the while was just her means of making her way into the Cobain family's wealth. Perhaps that was why the moon goddess didn't give her first son a wolf, And now I think alpha Kurt is under her evil spell " She whispered to me.

" Evil spell? " I cut in and she nodded.

" You know the Cobain's firms is quite robust both within the country and all around the world. They manufacture war weapons and also under the marketing of real estate. Now tell me who wouldn't do anything to get their hands on such wealth?"

" Although Alpha Kurt is the first son which makes him the Righful heir to the Cobain's wealth. However, I still have a bad feeling about the real motive of Supreme Luna Frida in Alpha Kurt's life." She mumbled and heaved a depressing sigh. 

" So, you mean to tell me that she is playing a game with everyone in the Cobain family?" I asked with my hands folded.

" I think so." 

Shortly, the white fur Musketeers walked in and all eyes diverted to their path, as they walked in with so much glamor.

They were the most troublesome bullies of Great lake high. Royalty, Gina, Phoebe, and Nora. were best of friends, and as a result of the complexion of their fur which was all white. They nicknamed themselves the white fur Musketeers. They came from a well-known family of werewolf warriors, Royalty's father was the supreme beta and his brother Luca is the Beta. This is why Royalty acts like a spoilt brat all the time.

They walked in with Royalty in front and the rest of the three standing behind her. She came and intruded on three girls who were sitting in a group and chatting about Alpha Kurt while going through his pictures on one of the girl's phones.

Royalty yanked the phone from them and the girls gasped in awe.

" Royalty, that's mine give it back." One of the girls requested and she acted nonchalantly with her.

 She tried collecting the phone from Royalty, but she pushed her away and chuckled.

"Guess what Girls, these nothings are looking at Alpha Kurt's pictures." Royalty announced teasingly as she showed the phone to her girls standing behind her.

" For reals, I wonder why they're wasting their time lusting on someone that can never be theirs," Gina one of the girls said blatantly and Royalty shrugged.

" Well, that's none of your business. Gives back my phone" The owner of the phone yelled.

" You know, if I were you, I wouldn't even bother going to the party tonight because I'm sure alpha Kurt will instantly fall ill looking at your face," Phoebe said and busted into laughter with the rest.

The poor girl was already tearing up.

" Seriously, Royalty, give it back " another girl cuts in and Royalty dropped the phone on the floor and walked away with her squad.

" Hey, Bi-atch! You are on my seat." Nora announced with grimness, inferring to Paige and that was when Paige recollected she wasn't on her seat.

" Oh! " she mouthed and stood with her phone.

" Don't you think 'bitch' is a strong word?" I asked Nora while Paige returned to her seat next to mine.

" Wow! Look what's talking," Gina said with a scoff.

" Daddy's little girl. I think I'm gonna fuck your daddy and become your new mama so I can teach you some manners your mother forgot to teach you before she ran away." Nora said.

" What did you just say?" I asked with a blazing expression and was about to get up from my seat when Paige held my hand and tried to placate me.

They giggled and took their seats which was the roll in front of mine.

I looked at them grudgingly and was about to give Nora a piece of my mind when the homeroom teacher walked in and everyone quickly settled on their seats.

But I remained to stand, glaring at the four critters in front of me.

" Good morning, students!" Mr. Nimoy greeted.

" Good morning, Mr. Nimoy." The student reciprocated in uniform as he took a stand in front of the class.

" Olivia, come on. Please..." Paige whimpered, holding my hand, and immediately, she dragged me down to my seat.
