The intrigue kills me for one hour and thirty-five minutes while we finish eating what we ordered. And even though I enjoy Baxter's company and enjoy being here, I want to leave as soon as possible to find out what that plan is about.

But Grayson changes the subject three times every time he opens his mouth and forgets what he's saying in less than five minutes. That makes me anxious.

I don't trust him, I don’t think that he can even remember his own plan. And I want to know.

The moment Baxter gives me a kiss on the cheek as a goodbye and starts walking home, I turn to Gray. This was a long 860 seconds from Candy Lane to here.
