64. Should strike the ego?

Aurora's POV

"I am going to win you... I promise... Because the thought of living life without you is terrifying..."

His words repeated in my head like a cycle.

Something swelled in the heart but I shouldn't feel like it.

I stared at the sunlight falling on the ground. My head is flat on his chest and his arms are protectively wrapped around my body. I am sleeping on him and he is unfazed by my weight.

I looked at his peaceful sleeping face.

The way he respectfully treated my body last night was something different. To be honest it's much easier to hate and loath him when he fucks me like a whore, at least I am clear that he is a monster but what I am supposed to do when he shows his soft side.

And what is this new obsession of trying to win me. I don't want him to do anything. I want to hate him, I hate him. I closed my eyes frustrated. Maybe I'm scared that I'll give in if he changes and I'll hate myself for that.
