MARSHA'S POV:-
When we came back to Ireland, we learned the most bitter truth of our lives. My dad's best friend, whom my father trusted most. He actually took everything from my dad.
When on one side I was sick, while on the other side, my father was fighting the man who he had trusted most. Dad went to his lawyer and turned out that his lawyer was actually with my dad's friend. They tricked my dad at the funeral of my mother and made him sign the papers that said my dad handed over everything to his friend.
My dad went to court to claim what was truly his but nobody listened to him. They proved my father as a crazy man and he was sent to the mental hospital.
After all that, my uncle came and took me to London. From Mira Lawrence, I became Marsha Alford. My uncle, Alford Lawrence was actually the step brother of my father. Even though they were step brothers, they both loved each other the most. My uncle took me in.
Uncle Lawrence was never dependent on anyone. My grandfather offered him fifty percent of everything he had but he refused saying that he has his own dreams to follow. My dad used to say, he did that to make sure the money would not come between their relationship.
Everything changed after he adopted me. And my father's so called friend, he presumed that I was dead. He knew the mental problem I was having. My dad had told him everything about my nightmares.
Uncle Lawrence helped me a lot in my life. He did not force me to do anything he wanted. He always gave me a free hand. I chose to become a cop and he proudly hugged me like my father would have hugged me.
But my plan was to become a cop in Ireland. My uncle stood by me and appreciated my decision. I came back to Ireland and applied to become a cop. I still had nightmares about Sierra but by then I was habitual of her and the horror she had brought into my life with her.
I came back and opened the case of my father. I was thankful to God who never let that case be closed. I came and found all the evidence against that man who destroyed my father and my family. The law finally stood against all the bad people and they were all punished for their deeds.
I never went back to London after that. I stayed here in Ireland. Not because it was my country and I loved to serve it as a cop. But because I never found my father. I tried to find him in every single mental hospital but he was nowhere to be found. I never found any traces for his death, so I still had a little flicker of hope that he was still alive.
Where was he or how was he? I did not know at all. But every night, I prayed to God to keep him safe and healthy. And also not to let me die in any battlefield before I would see the face of my father.
Just once, even if it would be at the last minute before my death, but I wanted to see my father. That was the only thing that was keeping me alive. Even with all the torture Sierra was giving me, I was still alive so I could see my father for the last time. And I knew it would happen soon.
MARSHA'S POV:-"Marsha and Sara, in my office right now." Captain Falcon said and he went back into his office. I rolled my eyes and stood up from my chair. I looked at Sara who was equally puzzled as I was. I shrugged my shoulders and she sighed. Sara came to me and leaned over my ear."What the fuck is wrong with the fatso now? What does he want from us?" She whispered into my ear and I shrugged my shoulders."I don't know but let me guess, Captain fatso has too much garbage that he could not handle at all. So he is calling us to clean all his garbage. Such a lazy fat ass." I whispered softly and we both froze into our tracks. We looked at each other's faces and broke into laughter fits. We laughed carelessly over the compliment I had given for my boss."Stop laughing like crazy women you both ar
MARSHA'S POV:-"So, will you tell us the story of the most difficult case you have solved? We would like to know. Also, it would polish our skills." Sara asked captain Falcon and I barely controlled my laugh. She was fooling him and I knew he would buy it. He was one of those people who seek audience and fame. Such a foolish man to work with us. I knew him very well."Of course I will tell you. About seven years ago, it was the first week of September. I was just a step away to become the captain. A man came to the precinct reporting for a missing girl. The captain of the precinct handed me that case along with ten officers to help me. I was in charge of leading them and I was my first case to lead a team by myself.." He started telling us the story and we both pulled the chairs closer to his seat to sit beside him."What ha
MARSHA'S POV:-"How could a mother leave her child totally helpless? Was she really Sierra's mother?" I asked Captain Falcon and he grinned proudly while looking at me. I was one of the smartest officers working under him. He knew he could expect that kind of question from me."That's why you are one of the smartest officers working under me. She was not Sierra's biological mother. Sierra was given to her by her sister, because she had lost her six children. She never gave birth to a single living child. All dead babies. She did not like her sister either, that was why she left." He replied and I felt pure rage inside my chest for that woman. Because of her selfishness, Sierra had suffered this much."So, Brian Doyle told us everything and we suspected her father and her step mother. We tried to find her real parents if they would have ta
MARSHA'S POV:-It took us almost three hours to gather all the belongings captain Falcon had. We drove him to his home along with all his belongings. His place was fully decorated. Everyone was getting ready for the party. I sighed as I really was not in the mood to attend that stupid party. We set everything in its place. Then we bid our goodbyes and stepped out of his house. We hopped into my car and drove off.I went shopping with Sara after dropping captain Falcon at his place. I did not have anything to wear at the party. Sara had taste in all fashion and dressings that was why I took her with me. I thought she would be helpful but later I regret my decision for bringing her with me. She really was a shopping addicted person. After an hour of searching, I finally started thinking that I was out of my mind when I asked Sara to c
MARSHA'S POV:-I stopped my car in front of that deserted house. It was all dark around and the house was abandoned. That place scared the hell out of me. But I had to check the place. It felt like that place was pulling me towards it. As if it was a magnet and I was a metal element. I pulled my gun out of the dash of my car and checked it, if it was loaded. I stuffed two more refills into the gun belts that were on both of my thighs.I then hopped out of the car and went towards that house. The whole street was deserted. That made me think what would have happened here that the whole street was deserted like no one ever lived there. I did not forget to grab the flashlight I had into my car. I made my way towards the house and checked. I peeked through the windows. But I did not see anything. I tried to look for anyth
MARSHA'S POV:-"Took you long enough, sister. But I am glad that you are here now. Tell me, you are here to save me." I heard that voice and I felt myself glued to the ground."What's wrong, Marsha? Are you not here to save me? You promised me." She said and I turned around. My eyes widened in horror as I saw her standing right in front of me. I actually thought that I was just delusioning when I had seen her in front of me in the morning. But I was proven wrong."Sierra? Is that really you?" I asked her as if I was a fool. She smiled cheekily and nodded her head. She came running towards me and pulled me in a sisterly hug. I just could not believe it. I was hugging a ghost. And felt like she was alive. I could feel her arms wrapped around me."Bloody hell! How am I hugging a gh
MARSHA'S POV:-I opened my eyes and gasped loudly for air. Breathing heavily, I held my hand on my chest. I did not know since when I was not able to breath. But my lungs were on fire. Once my breaths were even, I stood straight and looked around. I was sitting in a garden. And it felt as if I had seen that garden many times.I froze as two arms sneaked around my waist. The arms were long and strong. I started breathing heavily again as I felt someone hugging me from behind. "What is it, Mira? Did you not remember me?" He whispered in my ear. I shut my eyes as suddenly I started to feel something throbbing between my legs."Stupid Mira. How can I react like this? I am not a teenager. So what if I am a virgin. That does not mean that my panties should be wet every time a man would hug me." I thought to myself. He brought his nose towards my
MARSHA'S POV:-I opened my eyes again and looked at the most gorgeous man she had ever seen in her life. His arms were strong and muscular. They were protectively wrapped around my waist, holding me close to his tall figure. His chest was broad. He was taller than me. He had golden skin. I could not help but touch my fingers with his skin. He had light brown hair that was messy. His nose was straight and his lips were pink. He had a chiseled jaw with a lightly grown beard that looked perfect on his face.I tried to touch his face again but was stopped. He held my hand and opened his eyes. With all that killing beauty, his eyes were also murderous. He had deep blue eyes that looked like the ocean. A smirk reached his lips as he noticed me drooling over him. My cheeks burned as I knew he had caught me red handed.I tried to get off of him b
