MARSHA'S POV:-
"Marsha and Sara, in my office right now." Captain Falcon said and he went back into his office. I rolled my eyes and stood up from my chair. I looked at Sara who was equally puzzled as I was. I shrugged my shoulders and she sighed. Sara came to me and leaned over my ear.
"What the fuck is wrong with the fatso now? What does he want from us?" She whispered into my ear and I shrugged my shoulders.
"I don't know but let me guess, Captain fatso has too much garbage that he could not handle at all. So he is calling us to clean all his garbage. Such a lazy fat ass." I whispered softly and we both froze into our tracks. We looked at each other's faces and broke into laughter fits. We laughed carelessly over the compliment I had given for my boss.
"Stop laughing like crazy women you both are. Come in now." We both heard Captain Falcon yelling from inside of his office. We both controlled our laugh and sobered up. Once we were back into our serious mode, we both entered office. My eyes almost popped out of its sockets as I looked at all the files and papers and as I said garbage he had gathered into his office as his medals.
"What is all this, captain? Since when you are collecting all this trash?" Sara asked and I mentally cursed myself for calling his so called medals a garbage. Captain Falcon glared at both Sara and me. I narrowed my eyes and Sara gave him her adorable puppy face.
"Quit talking and start working. Sara, you take care of those newspapers. And Marsha, you take care of these files." He replied and I rolled my eyes. I went to the chair and sat down. I then started checking all the files. Captain Falcon went out and we both busied ourselves in the work.
While checking all the files, my eyes caught something really weird. I opened the file and my jaw dropped on the floor. I stood up from my chair while staring at the file I had in my hands. "Marsha, is everything okay? Why all of a sudden you went pale?" Sara must have noticed me, that was why she asked me in a worried tone. When I did not reply to her, she also stood up and came to me.
She looked into the file then snatched it away from me. I tried to snatch it back but she did not let me. "Why in hell are you eating this file with your eyes? Tell me what's wrong and you can have it back." She said and I gritted my teeth. But in the end, I gave up because I knew I could not win against her when it comes to an argument.
"Fine, you won. Open the file and I will tell you." I said and she rolled her eyes in annoyance. But she did as I had told her. She opened the file and I opened the page that had a photo of a young girl. She looked at the photo then looked at me.
"Don't fucking tell me. Is that you in this photo?" She asked me and I shook my head. Of course, the girl in the photo was a blondie while I had red hair. I raised a brow at her and she stuck her tongue out.
"No, that's not me. It's Sierra. It's her case file." I replied and she gave me a shocked look. We both started reading the file to know if Sara was right. But soon, that file was snatched away from our hands. We looked up and found a very angry captain Falcon standing in front of us. I rolled my eyes again while Sara gave him her puppy face. He gritted his teeth even more seeing her puppy face.
"What are you both doing? I told you to check it all." He asked us in an angry tone and we both exchanged looks. We smiled as we both had the same plan in our heads.
"Captain, whose case file is it?" Sara asked in a dreamy tone. He looked at the file and a proud smile made its way to his lips.
"Oh, this file contains the most difficult case of my life. It's the Sierra abduction case that I had solved." He replied and I looked at Sara who was also looking at me. And we both had one question in our minds. The case was solved? And that too captain Falcon had solved it. I just could not believe it.
MARSHA'S POV:-"So, will you tell us the story of the most difficult case you have solved? We would like to know. Also, it would polish our skills." Sara asked captain Falcon and I barely controlled my laugh. She was fooling him and I knew he would buy it. He was one of those people who seek audience and fame. Such a foolish man to work with us. I knew him very well."Of course I will tell you. About seven years ago, it was the first week of September. I was just a step away to become the captain. A man came to the precinct reporting for a missing girl. The captain of the precinct handed me that case along with ten officers to help me. I was in charge of leading them and I was my first case to lead a team by myself.." He started telling us the story and we both pulled the chairs closer to his seat to sit beside him."What ha
MARSHA'S POV:-"How could a mother leave her child totally helpless? Was she really Sierra's mother?" I asked Captain Falcon and he grinned proudly while looking at me. I was one of the smartest officers working under him. He knew he could expect that kind of question from me."That's why you are one of the smartest officers working under me. She was not Sierra's biological mother. Sierra was given to her by her sister, because she had lost her six children. She never gave birth to a single living child. All dead babies. She did not like her sister either, that was why she left." He replied and I felt pure rage inside my chest for that woman. Because of her selfishness, Sierra had suffered this much."So, Brian Doyle told us everything and we suspected her father and her step mother. We tried to find her real parents if they would have ta
MARSHA'S POV:-It took us almost three hours to gather all the belongings captain Falcon had. We drove him to his home along with all his belongings. His place was fully decorated. Everyone was getting ready for the party. I sighed as I really was not in the mood to attend that stupid party. We set everything in its place. Then we bid our goodbyes and stepped out of his house. We hopped into my car and drove off.I went shopping with Sara after dropping captain Falcon at his place. I did not have anything to wear at the party. Sara had taste in all fashion and dressings that was why I took her with me. I thought she would be helpful but later I regret my decision for bringing her with me. She really was a shopping addicted person. After an hour of searching, I finally started thinking that I was out of my mind when I asked Sara to c
MARSHA'S POV:-I stopped my car in front of that deserted house. It was all dark around and the house was abandoned. That place scared the hell out of me. But I had to check the place. It felt like that place was pulling me towards it. As if it was a magnet and I was a metal element. I pulled my gun out of the dash of my car and checked it, if it was loaded. I stuffed two more refills into the gun belts that were on both of my thighs.I then hopped out of the car and went towards that house. The whole street was deserted. That made me think what would have happened here that the whole street was deserted like no one ever lived there. I did not forget to grab the flashlight I had into my car. I made my way towards the house and checked. I peeked through the windows. But I did not see anything. I tried to look for anyth
MARSHA'S POV:-"Took you long enough, sister. But I am glad that you are here now. Tell me, you are here to save me." I heard that voice and I felt myself glued to the ground."What's wrong, Marsha? Are you not here to save me? You promised me." She said and I turned around. My eyes widened in horror as I saw her standing right in front of me. I actually thought that I was just delusioning when I had seen her in front of me in the morning. But I was proven wrong."Sierra? Is that really you?" I asked her as if I was a fool. She smiled cheekily and nodded her head. She came running towards me and pulled me in a sisterly hug. I just could not believe it. I was hugging a ghost. And felt like she was alive. I could feel her arms wrapped around me."Bloody hell! How am I hugging a gh
MARSHA'S POV:-I opened my eyes and gasped loudly for air. Breathing heavily, I held my hand on my chest. I did not know since when I was not able to breath. But my lungs were on fire. Once my breaths were even, I stood straight and looked around. I was sitting in a garden. And it felt as if I had seen that garden many times.I froze as two arms sneaked around my waist. The arms were long and strong. I started breathing heavily again as I felt someone hugging me from behind. "What is it, Mira? Did you not remember me?" He whispered in my ear. I shut my eyes as suddenly I started to feel something throbbing between my legs."Stupid Mira. How can I react like this? I am not a teenager. So what if I am a virgin. That does not mean that my panties should be wet every time a man would hug me." I thought to myself. He brought his nose towards my
MARSHA'S POV:-I opened my eyes again and looked at the most gorgeous man she had ever seen in her life. His arms were strong and muscular. They were protectively wrapped around my waist, holding me close to his tall figure. His chest was broad. He was taller than me. He had golden skin. I could not help but touch my fingers with his skin. He had light brown hair that was messy. His nose was straight and his lips were pink. He had a chiseled jaw with a lightly grown beard that looked perfect on his face.I tried to touch his face again but was stopped. He held my hand and opened his eyes. With all that killing beauty, his eyes were also murderous. He had deep blue eyes that looked like the ocean. A smirk reached his lips as he noticed me drooling over him. My cheeks burned as I knew he had caught me red handed.I tried to get off of him b
MARSHA'S POV:-I stepped out of the bathroom and looked around. I smiled as I found jeans and a t-shirt set on the bed for me. I went towards the bed and wore my clothes. I brushed my hair and stepped out of the bedroom. The house was not big but it was beautiful. And as compared to my apartment, his room was in a better state. My whole apartment was actually a mess as compared to that place.Hesitantly, I stepped into the kitchen. A beautiful woman looked at me and came towards me. Putting her hand on my back, she guided me towards the dining table. She made me sit and I thanked her. "What is your name, honey?" She asked me while sitting on a chair that was set beside me."Marsha, my name is Marsha Alford." I replied and she grabbed my hands."That i
