“Trust me, you’re going to regret ever messing with me, I swear,” looking at Genevieve dead in the eye, Eve swore.

“The one who’s regretting now is you. Deal with your problem before thinking about making me regret it, okay.”

“Watch and see. You’ll be pleading very soon.”

Saying that, Eve swiveled around and stormed out of the office followed by Ella. They both walked side by side until they got to the last floor.

“We should take the back exit,” Ella suggested.

Eve nodded and together, they walked to the back exit that only a few people knew about. They put on their scarf and glasses and pushed the metal door open. Once they were out, they climbed the stairs downward that led to the parking lot.

Finally getting to the parking lot, Eve let out a puff of breath. “Back there, I felt like strangling her to death,” she gritted her teeth.
