When Stella woke up, she rushed to the bathroom and started throwing up at the sink. She was doing okay the past few days but now she's feeling like her stomach is turning up. Everything went dizzy and she had to stay lowering her head down the sink for a couple of minutes.
The water was running so Charles can't hear her. There won't be an excuse for it and for the short time that they're together, she learned how stubborn he is. He'd always want to find out about what's happening, especially to her.
And as she expected there came a knock on the door. What she was not expecting was when a paper slid inside from under and next was a dang thick ink pen. It made her frown, bending over to take it.
It wrote, "Are you okay? You rushed in, are you pooping?" And there was a box in each choice that says yes or no. She softly chuckles thinking how childish Charles could get at the same time. Yet she checked the yes and wrote I'm pooping. Then she slides it back.
Felius was awake earlier before breakfast and started wondering what's all the fuss their maids were making. Every time he walks past gossiping maids, they'd scatter as if a bomb has just been thrown at them. He wanted to ask at least one of them but he kept his composure. In the garden, Felius saw one of his sons there, Mark, having his coffee already. He walked his way there with the butler. Mark needed to stand when he came and took his seat, greeting each other a good morning."Have you any idea about the maids gossiping too early?" Felius asked as soon as he was seated. "They were having fun. Is it another scandal?""Perhaps it is," Mark answered, taking another sip from his coffee. "My son is keeping the maids entertained, father.""What do you mean?""Oh, Charles and Stella decided to make their own breakfast. As of now, they're probably in the kitchen cooking.""They're cooking?" Felius is just surprised to hear that Charles is
In the busy streets of Akane, Stella walks with Charles on the sidewalk. They were just holding hands and all when Stella felt her phone ringing. With her free hand, she reached for her phone and when she saw doctor Akira she stopped, preventing him from taking another step too."Something wrong?" he asked."No, but I'll have to answer the phone for a bit," she replied."Who's calling?"Stella pretended not to hear Charles and instead let go of him, answering her phone as she moves away. It made him grind his jaw, looking all pissed at the one who ruined their moment."Hello?" Stella answered her phone."Oh, dear! My apologies for not answering the phone earlier. I was in a meeting.""It's fine, doctor Akira. It was my fault for not erm asking first. It was a wrong timing."Stella could hear the noise on the other line and it makes her wonder if it was from her or the phone. She's quite certain that doctor Aki
At the airport, Stella and Charles waved at Doctor Akira who was walking towards the entrance. It was sad for Stella to see her doctor go without them talking a lot but at the same time, she felt really relieved that Charles didn't ask any further questions about doctor Akira's field. When the doctor faded from their view, Stella turned to Charles and saw him looking at her already. She didn't know why he was looking at her like this. Then he suddenly took a step closer and hugged her."Wha-What are you doing? I'm not leaving!""I know," he softly said. "Why? Can't I hug you out here all of a sudden?""No. It just feels weird that you do it out of nowhere."Charles broke the hug, sighing heavily as he backs away, plastering a slight smile. He's really hard to read sometimes yet there are times when he is very easy too."You're pretty cold sometimes, Stella," he uttered, taking her hand so suddenly. "Let's go enjoy the rest of the day."
While Jason doing a review on paperwork, his phone suddenly chimed, flashing the screen open. He normally would glance at it and if it isn't important, he'd just ignore it. But after he saw the name on the screen, he put down the papers and reached for his phone."Now, what does this bitch want?" he asked under his breath.Jason clicked the message Andrea sent him. It was an invite for dinner. He smells something fishy with the text. Andrea has no reason to text him unless, of course, she has something to offer to the devil. It might seem uninteresting to him since Andrea is really up to no good most of the time. Her calculations went wrong with Charles, thinking he'd always love her. She thinks she holds the world, that her beauty and being a woman make her capable of doing anything. No, Andrea is wrong. She is a woman, a strong one, but she's not capable of stealing everyone's heart. With a sigh, Jason texted back with "sure". It is said, 'to deci
Back on top of the staircase, Charles's marble eyes were widely staring at Stella. He heard her but he couldn't guess if he really heard her right."Did you--" he stopped to catch his breath, "I can't damn breath!"Immediately, Stella panicked, looking everywhere."What do you mean? Should I call for help?"And just suddenly Charles embraced her tightly, leaving her wide eyes."This would be the perfect time to say something," she says quietly."I love you. I've been telling you I love you," he told her, giving her a peck on the cheek. "I know it might sound too fast and they say a guy falls in love in an average of 88 days but... I've been in love with you since that night. And I don't mean I just love your hotness. It's you. I love all of you."Hearing those words made her cry softly, sniffing as she wraps her hands around him too. How could he be so extra in saying all those? Charles means those words
Monday. It should be the day people hates the most but Charles had a big grin on his face. As he makes his way toward the elevator, his employees couldn't help but feel new towards him. He was greeting them a good morning and that never happened."You look like you're in another universe right now, young master." Dimitri had commented. The older man could notice the flowers around Charles. He bet he wasn't the only one who feels that too."What are you saying, Dimitri? It's a beautiful day and I thought I should celebrate it.""But you don't usually celebrate such, sir. It's unlike you to even notice that it's a beautiful day." Dimitri glances at Charles and saw that the young man's face is glowing. Ah, it must be spring for him. "Mind telling me what happened, sir?""Well," the elevator dinged open to their floor and they head out together, "I'm in love with Stella and I just heard her say it back the other day. We've been good together.""I
Jenkins wanted to make himself a cocoa drink when he noticed Jason and Stella at the counter. If he was Charles, it wouldn't be a good sight to see. But the good thing is, he wasn't.It wasn't his thing to listen to other people's conversations that doesn't concern him. And so he decided to leave but before he could, he heard something interesting that made him stay. It was Jason just being uncool talking to Stella.Seeing this brought some ideas into Jenkins' mind. If he starts seeing a woman from Stella's class, would he be able to express himself like Jason is right now? But dear him! Where could he find some woman of his age? He'd find himself a girl, not even a proper lady!"What are you doing there, Jenkins?"Hearing that, he instantly turned and saw his twin sister Trixie. She was nothing like him. Trixie was always trying hard to be like Verna."Nothing. I just wanted some cocoa but the adults are having a conversation." H
After Stella helped with Trixie, she went back to sitting with Jason. She enjoys hearing his side of the story. And she's in her third cup of ice cream. Doctor Akira said she shouldn't be eating too much of it but she loves it."Trixie and Jenkins are so sweet," she told Jason as she opens her ice cream. "It should be nice having a twin brother.""No, I don't think Trixie thinks that. Plus, Jenkins was always the best between them. If she tries to compete, she knows what'll happen.""Are people here always competing with each other?" she asked and Jason nodded. "Why? Why do you always compete? Is to be the heir?""I don't want to be the heir, amber eyes." He chuckles, displaying a lopsided grin. "You might think I'm lying but I don't want to be. There's more to want, more things than just to be an heir."But that doesn't answer all of her questions. There was one Jason chose to ignore, chose to be silent about."What made you tak
