DEDICATED TO ALL FAIRYTALE LOVER…❤️
“Never in my life have I ever thought that my tale would sound like a fairytale!”
[*****]
Once upon a time....🥱sounds boring, right? Why wouldn’t it after all we grew up hearing this same thing, repeatedly, isn’t it? So let me start with something else.😉
Upon the brim of time, it was their wedding day. Yes, as I have mentioned in the teaser of this story, their story begins with exchanging rings. So this is how the modern fairytale embarked on a new unknown journey.💕💕
[*****]
“I now pronounce you, as husband and wife. You can kiss the bride…” proclaimed the clergyman, shortly after the rings were exchanged.
Ojaswi Watson, whose slim torso was wrapped in a white wedding gown, the white transparent veil in her head, tightened her grip which was holding the nosegay.
Like her name ‘Ojaswi,’ she was bright and her beauty was precise to be harmonized with the beauty of a full moon.
Alluring and highly charming, her appearance was undoubtedly able to stimulate the desire in man’s heart to gain her. She possessed uniquely wonderful qualities and had a comprehensive height of 5ft 5in.
Hearing the words of the clergyman, she gulped hard, took a deep breath, and turned towards Shishir. She didn’t meet his eyes, lowered her head, and glanced at his shoes, instead.
“I am just eighteen, I shouldn’t be doing this… I am just eighteen, I shouldn’t be doing this… I had a long way to go. I had to fulfill my dream, I shouldn’t be doing this, ” the voice inside her was driving her insane. She unquestionably knew that she had to do it but still the voice was trying to warn her repeatedly.
She had not feared anything till now. Not even the forced marriage which she had to get entangled in. But this moment when her first kiss was about to be taken by the one who she hardly knew was freaking the hell out of her.
“You apprehended this was happening. So stop freaking out… remember this is the last phase you need to get through. You have come this far so you can go further…” she tried to reassure herself.
Clearing her throat, she closed her eyes and slowly lifted her head. She had executed her move, so she waited for Shishir to execute his move. She prepared herself to lose the occasion of having the most memorable first kiss. She knew she would have no emotion in this kiss but she had no other choice as well.
As she was waiting unexpectedly she flinched and opened her eyes at once when she heard the sudden voice of a clergyman.
“Gentleman, you need to kiss your bride to make this marriage complete…”
Ojaswi was shocked when she found that Shishir was not in front of her. She turned around and saw him standing a few meters away on the aisle with his back turned towards her. He was walking out of the empty church which was just filled with three people, clergyman, bride, and groom.
All the benches were empty and no decoration was made. Even though it was the wedding of the Prince of the business world, it had no charm and it was not grand at all.
“You pronounced us husband-wife, isn’t it? So what use of kiss?” questioned Shishir in a cold solemn voice, without turning back.
“Yeah, but… kissing is one of the rituals you need to follow to have a complete marriage. It is kind of claiming your partner,” replied the clergyman.
“Spouse relation, for now, is all enough for me. So, I am fine with having an incomplete marriage,” Shishir said and tucking his hand inside his pocket walked out of the church.
Ojaswi with a sore face watched his back disappearing and turned towards the clergyman. She gave a smile of embarrassment as she was not able to say anything.
“Do you think you are going to be happy with him, my child?” the clergyman questioned in a concerned tone.
Ojaswi sighed and mumbled, “that no longer matters, father.”
“I beg your pardon! What did you say?” he questioned in astonishment.
“Um… I said my happiness now has to be related to him as he is my husband. If he is happy not kissing me then I should agree with him,” Ojaswi explained a lie in front of God asking for forgiveness deep inside.
The clergyman placed his hand on her head and said, “I see you are going to be proved as a good wife to him. May God bless you with all the happiness you deserve.”
“Thank you. I wish your words to come true,” replied Ojaswi, flashing a sweet smile on her face, and walked out of the church.
Shishir Mendes who was dressed in a Navy Blue tuxedo, stood leaning his back on his black Bugatti. His eyes were fixed on the door of the church and were waiting for his bride to appear.
His appearance was the same as his name, ‘Shishir,’ cold. He was completely ruthless, yet very handsome. Being a young handsome bachelor and Prince of the Business world, he was the dream of every girl. Handsome, rich, and cold-hearted was the feature that he possessed as qualities inside him.
When he saw his bride walking out, he slipped inside the car and waited for her to get in the car.
Ojaswi seeing him getting inside the car hurried towards him. She thought that he was leaving her there, so she needs to talk with him before he leaves.
As she was hurrying towards him suddenly a familiar voice from behind called her out.
“Oja…”
She froze hearing the voice and the nosegay in her hands dropped down. She slowly turned around, gulping hard.
Her face had lost all the color and chills were running through her veins with heart-thumping out so loud that she was hearing it clear on her ear.
Before she could say anything, a loud slap landed on her cheek which made it grow red instantly.
Placing her palm on her cheek, she glanced at the person with guilty eyes. She was not able to speak out anything and was feeling so helpless.
“There must be a purpose for you to be their child, try to discover that purpose!” [*****]
“Love is knowing that you know there is no use in taking care but still keeping track of them about their condition!” [*****] Loud horn flinched Ojaswi and made her come back to reality. When she heard the car starting. She remembered that she had to have a conversation with Shishir. “No, no, Oja, you cannot show your te
“If your love will not let you try even after knowing there is no chance at all that is not what you call a love!” [*****]
“You say, getting happy with their happiness, crying in their sorrows, celebrating their success, wiping their tears is called true love… but I say along with this all, cleaning one’s mess also falls under true love… come on think deep not everyone will ever clean your mess… I mean it...”[*****]She saw his hand raising and felt his breath on her fore
“Keep your feet down on the ground no matter how high you reach, so that you don’t have to fear falling!”[*****]“Hello! Sweetheart.... I got my wedding dress and can you believe it is crafted with pure ocean pearls… I can't wait to wear it and post the pictures on ins
“No, matter how angry you are, at the end of the day you end up missing them!”
“Be cautious of your action, your every action not only has an effect on you but has equal effects on people around you!”[*****]“Have your meal,” Shishir said in a cold tone which had no bit of concern.“I don’t want to…” Ojawsi replied in a weak tone.Throwing his hand above the air, Shishir said in a furious tone, “great don’t eat.”He marched towards the balcony in anger. He stood by the balcony gripping the railing tight. He was totally losing his mind.“What does she think of herself? Did I marry her to feed and take care of her…?” he muttered to himself.Breathing heavily, he glanced back at Ojaswi squinting his eyes. But seeing her condition his cold heart melted down in no time. So he walked inside and taking the bowl of porridge from the tray sat beside Ojaswi. Ojaswi leaning her head back was sitting, closing her eyes.Shishi
"Love is unpredictable, for some it's the wrong time but the right person and for remaining it's the right time but the wrong person!"[*****]Flashback:“Brother…”Shishir, who was busy gawking at the same girl with her boyfriend, flinched hearing his sister’s call.“Corrina…” he mumbled underneath his breath and turned before seeing his sister, Corrina standing behind him.Corrina with the brightest smile on her face hugged him tightly. “I missed you so much, brother…”“When did you get here? If I knew you would also be present here then I would have come early.” Shishir kissed his forehead.“I arrived yesterday. Dad and I wanted to surprise you. That is why he called you here,” she said, wrapping her hand around his arms.“What? Dad didn’t call me to talk about my marriage?” he was surprised.&
