Mommy! Daddy is Missing.

Chapter 1

Blinded by a black cloth, she's led into a big spacious room where she's left behind. Inside the warm room, with the sunlight nearing it's setting time, laid a woman on the luxurious, well laid and soft big bed.

The woman was entangled in a nearly transparent black veil, and a beautiful white bow was tied at the end of the black veil which fell on the woman's lower abdomen and touched her laps.

From the side view, you can tell she is a very beautiful woman with milky white skin and a sharp high bridged nose. Her skin is smooth and her figure is beautiful.

Her small and shapely face was blindfolded by black gauze and her nervousness could be seen from the tight silk quilt hands which kept shaking in her laps.

With a "click", the door opened leading in and out of the room opens.

The silence suddenly seems so loud as someone enters into the room bringing a soft fragrance in.

The visitor was silent, and the sound of footsteps was muffled on the carpet.

Hearing the slight sound of the door opening, Sue turned pale with nervousness and her hands shook even harder.

Then someone reached out and stroked her face, making her flinch for a second. His fingers are not smooth with a rough layer of calluses on the palm and fingers alike.

Sue was so frightened and nervous that she trembled violently, almost like she would run away any minute.

"Ah!" Sue mumbled with a teary voice sounding like she is almost crying.

With a crying and nervous voice: "Please, please... let me go." Sue mutters almost silently, hoping whoever it is in the room with her will listen to her pleas.

She was like a nervous little rabbit, begging with red but covered eyes and even the room was a dark one.

"Regret agreeing to this marriage already?" A low and magnetic male voice said very close to Sue's ear.

Sue flinches at the closeness of the voice.

Although this voice was a question, there was no joy or anger or any emotion at all in it.

Sue's body trembled more and more.

Tonight, she is here in place of her sister. The Mason and Greene families are about to marry but tonight is to ensure that the daughter of the Greene family is clean.

As a tradition of the Mason Family to check the women to be married into their homes, tonight was one of those nights. Although in the past generations, the tradition had been dropped but it's been held tonight.

Sue Drayton was not perfect, but she was clean enough that her family forced her to come.

As expected or is always done, the person who examined the body was not the eldest or youngest son of the family, but just a bodyguard, gardener, cook or someone from the lower class of the Mason family.

The Mason family did not agree with this marriage, so they deliberately made such a this tradition known to them to know if they will back out or not just to humiliate the Greene family.

In order to climb up the ladder, so as for the Greene family to be allied to the Mason family and even though they knew that there was a fire pit in front of them, they had to jump into it.

Sue was the moth sent to the Mason family flame by James Greene, her supposed father, and she was not prepared for this at all.

"I, I'm afraid, can you...can you give me some time?"

After she finished speaking, her small chin was pinched, and a man's extremely indifferent and emotionless voice came too close to her ear again, "No one can talk to me about conditions."

Although she couldn't see the appearance of the man in front of her, she could feel the powerful aura of the man.

Feeling his breath getting closer, Sue was so frightened that tears fell and her hands shook very fast like they were going to fall off.

"No..." Sue said unwillingly with a teary voice, struggling to escape from this place.

"Do you think you have the qualifications to say no? Miss Alexa, recognize your identity and be classy." The man's domineering and powerful words floated into her ears and danced to her brain

That voice seemed to be cold to the depths of the bone marrow.

She could hear the contempt, disdain and disgust in it.

"Feel aggrieved?" The man increased his strength, and her chin was pinched to the point of pain.

Sue could feel the chill on the man's body through the black gauze, and she didn't know whether it was cold or it was because of her trembling from fright.

She gritted her teeth and said unwillingly, "If I could choose, I would definitely not come!"

If the Greene family hadn't been kind to her and adopted her and took her in since she was a child, she wouldn't have to come here today in place of her sister.

The little woman's stubborn expression caught his eye, and the man smiled mockingly, "Since the women of the Greene family want to climb up to the Mason family so much, then don't put on such a wronged look, you are not worthy!"

Hearing the man's words about not deserving even the least level of respect, Sue clenched her fists.

The man, like the storm outside the window, showed no pity for her on the bed that night, Sue closed her eyes and tears fell.

Greene family, I have paid off what I owe you! Sue said and closed her eyes to the world.

The heavy rain fell all night and stopped at dawn, and the sunlight gently poured in through the glass and reflected back to her eyes, and Sue woke up from her drowsiness.

The long and lushious eyelashes fluttered like butterfly wings and she opened her eyes, blinking a few times before adjusting to the light. Thinking of what happened last night, her little face suddenly became terrified. She looked to her side of the bed and it was not occupied, the room was empty except for her, and thankfully, there was no man.

She moved her fingers over her body and felt her whole body was sore. She struggled to get out of bed while holding back hot tears, casually put on a sleeping gown and dragged her exhausted body to the bathroom.

Pushing the door open, she stiffened on the spot.

Lying casually in the bathtub was an indifferent man with delicate and handsome features but an expression like an ice cold sculpture. He looks like a living god with all his facial features looking like they were intricately made.

Hearing the door opening, the man slowly opened his eyes and looked at the door. They look at each other.

This moment was electric. A sudden moment when something unexpected like a shock happened and neither party can help it.

She had never met a person with such a powerful aura. Those cold eyes were like giant eagles flying on the snowy mountains. Sue's legs were already soft like jelly. When she saw him like this, Sue fought the urge kneel on the ground.

Could he be the man from last night?!

For a while, Sue didn't know whether to sigh at the man's handsomeness, or how to break the awkward atmosphere now.

The man's eyes were too cold, and she didn't know how to react, so she had to step back cowardly, to just run from there.

"Stop." The man ordered, and his voice was a little more hoarse after he was satisfied, very sexy and magnetic.

Sue stammered: "That... I, I didn't know you were there, I'll go out now."

Who is this uncle? This man is definitely not a cook. Is he a bodyguard? He definitely has the body but the face does not match.

"come over here." He orders again

Just after turning around to leave, she could feel his eyes on her like a thorn in her back and she could only stand motionless like a bunny being stared at by a giant eagle.

"No, it's not very convenient." She refuses and takes another step forward

"Don't let me say it a second time." The man was used to being aloof, and every word, every sentence that dropped from him had an irresistible majesty.

Sue didn't dare to disobey his words, turned around and took very small steps and walked over to him.

"You asked me to come over. I'm here now" Sue mutters meekly

Strangely, she had no temper at all in front of this person. This person seemed to be born to rule the life and death of others.

Like a god.

A big steamy palm grabbed her wrist, Sue let out a coquettish cry, and fell heavily and not so girlishly into the water.

"Sir, what are you doing..." Sue managed to cry in pain, tears gathering in her eyes.

Her chin was lifted like he did the previous night, and the man's eyes as deep as treasure coves stared straight into her kwn eyes.

The little girl with red lips and white teeth faded away after baptism. Her gown became transparent and all her treasures were outlined on the gown because it got wet.

"Come to me early in the morning?" His voice was hoarse, which seemed very indescribable in this atmosphere.

The little head shook frantically, "I didn't, I just thought you had left and wanted to take a shower." Sue explains, looking like a lost puppy and it amuses him

Sue didn't hear the sound of water before she came in, so who knew there would be someone inside.

"This excuse..." The man whispered in her ear: "It sucks."

His scorching breath was in her ears, and she wondered if the water vapor was too hot, and Sue's face turned red tons of times.

"I'm not lying, sir, please let me go."

"Heh... you just got here and you want to leave so soon? Remember, you don't have the right to choose."

Sue struggled frantically, messing up and splashing all the bath water in the tub on the pristine white floor.
