Opening my eyes, I thought maybe I had just dreamed of everything that had happened. Except when my vision cleared, I was looking into very familiar eyes, Hunter’s. I thought maybe I was dreaming because there was no way Hunter could be here right now.

“Are you okay?” Hunter’s voice filled my ears, causing tears to well up in my eyes.

“Is it really you?” I whispered, afraid that if I spoke too loudly, he would disappear.
