Chapter 13.1

"I HAVE a feeling Marcus and Hera are plotting something against me," Althaia said as she slid into Henry's arms. In the middle of the night, they lay side by side on a large bed.

"Just tell me what you want me to do with them, my dear queen... I'll look after those fools..." Henry whispered with his eyes closed.

Althaia smiled and set her eyes on Henry. Her lips touched Henry's, causing him to smile.

"For now, let's just keep an eye on Marcus," Althaia said softly, hugging Henry tightly and deciding to sleep as well.

CALLIE went down to the kitchen to make camomile tea because she couldn't sleep.

She looked at the swords on the wall after making tea. She instantly smiled because she remembered Clyde.

She was walking back to her room when she noticed a light shining through the doorway into their basement. She is certain Simeon is in there.

Simeon was the only one who goes down there frequently because almost everything in there belonged to him. Some of the items inside are weap
