Lucas walked out of the inner room and into the sitting room, where Emma was waiting for him. "Are you hungry?" he asked.Emma was taken aback by the question. Not like she knew how werewolves behave but she had expected him to be more aggressive or menacing, not nicely offering her food. "Uh, yes," she replied cautiously.Lucas nodded and walked towards the kitchen. "I'll make us something to eat," he said over his shoulder.Emma followed him, still trying to process the fact that she was sitting in a werewolf's Cabin. "Do you cook often?" she asked, trying to make small talk. She was also trying to confirm that he wouldn’t serve her a strangled deer or bush rat if that was what werewolves ate.Lucas looked at her with a confused expression. "Of course," he said. “I've had to learn to fend for myself. My parents passed away a few years ago and I haven't had a girlfriend to cook for me." He chuckled sarcasticallyEmma's heart drops a little at the mention of a girlfriend. She's not su
Emma woke up early in the morning, stretching her arms and yawning as she sat up on the bed. She looked around the room and out through the open door, she noticed that Lucas was nowhere to be found. Panic crept up on her, and she called out his name, but there was no answer. She got up from the bed immediately, walked out to the front of the cabin, but Lucas wasn't there. Emma's heart was pounding fast in her chest as she started to worry that something might have happened to him or he had left her alone in the middle of the woods while she was sleeping. She decided to search the back of the cabin, hoping to find him there. As she walked towards the back of the cabin, she noticed a few trees standing in the path. She approached them, and when she looked beyond them, she noticed a river. The view was breathtaking, the river was flowing calmly, and the birds were chirping.Emma suddenly sees Lucas taking a bath in the river, she moves gently beside a tree, watching him from the corner.
Emma walked out of the cabin, still feeling a bit chilly from the cold river water. She followed Lucas towards the spot where she had crashed the car the previous night, and as they walked, she couldn't help but feel a sense of dread wash over her. The memories of the previous night were still haunting and the face of the monster that attacked her was imprinted in her mind. They arrived at the spot of the accident, it was by the open road. The car looked completely totaled, like a mangled piece of metal left to rust in the sun. She winced as she got closer, taking in the damage. The front windshield was shattered and the hood was crumpled like a piece of paper. The doors looked like they had been ripped off, and the tires were flat and deflated. How did she even get out of this thing without a broken bone? She turned to Lucas, confused. "What are we going to do with it?"He shrugged. "We can't just leave it here. We'll move it to a safer spot until we figure out what to do."Emma nodd
As Lucas walked out of the Argent mansion, he could feel Samantha's icy stare piercing through him. He ignored her and made his way to the truck, where Max was waiting for him."Did you call the mechanic?" Lucas asked as he opened the door."Yeah, I sent him the address," Max replied.Lucas nodded in satisfaction. "Good. We need to find the Lycan who attacked Emma last night. I have an idea who it might be.""Why bother with that?" Samantha said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "The Lycan didn't succeed, so let it go."Simon, who was sitting in the back of the truck, scoffed. "Speak for yourself. I haven't picked a fight in days. I need to get my ass handed to me, and fighting a Lycan sounds like a good way to do it."Samantha rolled her eyes. "You're such an idiot, Simon. What's the big deal about this Emma girl anyway? And why are you so concerned about her?" she asked and crossed her arms over her chestLucas turned to Samantha. "I don’t know how many times I have to explain thi
Lucas, Max, and Simon arrived at an abandoned building, and Lucas brought the car to a stop. Max asked Lucas how he knew that the Lycan was there, and Lucas replied, "I followed the scent of the beast after Emma slept off the previous night, and I tracked it down to this building. So, I believe whoever attacked Emma is housed here."They got out of the car, and Simon's eyes lit up with excitement. "This is going to be fun," he said, cracking his knuckles. Max placed a hand on his shoulder and reminded him to stay focused. As they approached the door, Max whispered, "What's the plan?"Lucas replied in a hushed tone, "We need to be quick and precise. Take them by surprise."Simon interjected, "I say we go in, fists blazing, and take them all down."Max shushed him, and they waited for Lucas' signal. “Let's go in,” Lucas instructed softly. The building's large door creaked as they pushed it open, and the place was quiet and smelled funny. They walked through the dark halls, which were di
Emma stood in the kitchen, the aroma of her cooking filling the air. Her mind, however, was not on the meal. Instead, it was consumed by the events of the last 24 hours. The attack, the chase, the discovery of the Lycans and werewolves, all of it was still fresh in her mind. She couldn't shake the image of the snarling creature from last night, its eyes piercing into her very soul.As she stirred the pot on the stove, her mind drifted off to Lucas. The image of him from this morning at the river flashed through her mind. She couldn't believe how she had felt at that moment. Her heart raced as she thought about the way he had looked at her, his piercing gaze making her feel alive in a way she never had before. She needed to get laid soon or she might not be able to concentrate on anything… Yes, she wanted him, but maybe this was not the right time.Emma shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. She had more important things to worry about right now than what she thought of a naked
Emma looks up and sees that the intruder who broke into the house through the window is none other than Samantha, Lucas’s friend. But something was different about Samantha. Her face contorted and her body shifted, revealing her true nature as a werewolf. Her claws extended, her eyes glowed a piercing blue, and her canines elongated into deadly fangs. Despite her transformation, Samantha still stood on two feet, her human form still somewhat visible; it was like a half transformation, more like an enhanced human. Emma was shocked and scared, not knowing what to make of the situation. The man, on the other hand, growled in response to Samantha's snarls, clearly not intimidated by her werewolf form. They circled each other, waiting for the other to make a move. Suddenly, the man lunged forward, claws outstretched, aiming for Samantha's throat. Samantha dodged the attack with ease, her reflexes as a werewolf honed by years of practice. The man doesn't back down, the sound of their growls
Lucas and the boys arrived at the argent mansion, their car screeching to a halt in front of the grand entrance. Lucas jumped out of the car and dashed into the house, his heart pounding with fear. As he pushed the door open, he was met with a sight that sent chills down his spine. The hallway was a complete mess, with shattered glass and splinters scattered all over the place. Lucas called out Emma's name, his voice shaky and anxious."Emma! Emma, are you okay?" he shouted, his heart racing with fear.A few moments later, Emma appeared at the top of the stairs, looking down at him with a mixture of relief and fear. She took a deep breath and called out to Lucas, "I'm okay, Lucas. I'm okay."Lucas was confused and couldn't understand how Emma could be okay in the middle of such chaos. He pointed to the mess and asked, "What happened here? How did this happen?"Suddenly, Samantha appeared, walking out from one of the rooms wearing Emma's clothes. She curled her hair slowly as she stood
