Alina's Point of View

A knock on my door jolts me out of my thoughts, I whispered "Come in"

The door creaks open to reveal the guard, she could see his fearless face from the dimly lit lantern in her room.

"The Alpha requests your presence at the Meeting room" he said keeping a serious face regardless, but I froze instantly

Just the mention that Alpha Thorne was calling for me sent fear through my spine, "What have I done this time?" I mumbled, sweat began pulling up from every part of my body as my room suddenly became hot

"Did he say why?" I asked but instead of responding he simply turned and walked out.

What do I do now?

Do I not go?

No no no.. If i don't go he'd kill me this time

But it's already late at night what is he doing at the meeting hall?

My head was a mess, but one thing was sure I had to go because I didn't have no death wish anytime soon.

I slipped on my slippers and threw a satin robe over my shoulders to cover the night wear I had on which was a little bit tran

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 29: A Jolly Time With the Predator

Alpha Thorne’s Point of ViewHer lips still tingled on mine… sweet, sinful, and far too deliberate. I should’ve thrown her out, shoved her back into the cold night where temptresses like her belonged. But instead… I stayed seated on the edge of my bed, letting her do as she wished with heavy breath and a fire I hadn’t felt in years smoldering low in my gut. Then, she moved.Lyra stepped back from the kiss, her lips still glistening from where they had owned me. She didn't speak… not at first. Instead, her hips rolled, slow and deliberate, like she was dancing to music only she could hear. Her eyes locked onto mine, and she smirked that damned smirk… almost like I was seeing it on Alina’s face.. and started her pure seduction.“You liked the feel of my ass straddling your cock!,” she whispered, voice like velvet soaked in poison.I clenched my jaw, forcing myself to remain still, to stay in control. But she gave me no time to recover. She straddled my lap again, grinding hard against m

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 28: The Right Seductress

Alpha Thorne’s Point of ViewShe stood in front of me like a mirror image pulled from my darkest, most forbidden dreams.Lyra.She didn’t flinch beneath my gaze like the others. Didn’t lower her eyes or shift nervously in her stance. No… she stared directly into my soul, daring me to blink first. That smirk tugging at the corner of her lips… gods, she could pass off as Alina anytime any day.. But unfortunately it wasn’t her. Lyra didn't carry the prophecy Alina carried. Of course not, Alina was my only key to becoming “The Greatest Alpha Alive”. Lyra… she was just a tool to make sure I achieve my goal with Alina.. I looked at her again and she burned colder. She was frost wrapped in silk, deadly in her stillness. Her beauty didn’t beg to be worshipped. It demanded it.“I don't see another fit for this role except her,” I muttered under my breath nudging towards Lyra.Gaius, standing a few feet to my right, offered a slight nod. “She’s indeed special, but we still need to have an op

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 27: "An Uneasy Silence"

Alina’s Point Of ViewThe wind carried a faint chill as I pinned the last garment to the clothesline, my fingers numb, but not from the cold. My mind was a thousand miles away or more accurately, a night ago. I could still feel the press of Kael’s chest behind me, his warmth seeping into my skin as we lay in silence, tangled on my bed, watching the moonlight spill across the floor like silver dust. It had been the first time in so long that I felt like myself again… free, whole… loved. My lips curled softly at the memory. His voice in my ear, the brush of his fingers along my knuckles, how he had kissed my forehead as though I were something precious. It was ironic, wasn’t it? That in a place meant to break me, I had found slivers of joy stitched into the quiet moments with him.The snap of the wind against a sheet pulled me back, just as two strong hands slipped over my eyes from behind. My heart didn’t race. It didn’t need to.“Kael,” I murmured, a soft smile already blooming. He le

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 26: “They Won’t See Me Coming”

Alpha Thorne’s Point Of ViewI couldn't seem to fall asleep. Who falls asleep when their chances of being the Most Revered Alpha in the whole world was at stake? I stood by the balcony, half-draped in a silk robe, the night breeze licking at my skin. The pack house was quiet, the kind of silence that whispered temptations and sin. Stars glimmered like sharp blades, scattered across the sky. A moment of peace… rare, fleeting.A soft knock at the chamber door.“Enter,” I said lazily, not turning. One of the newer slaves entered… She was young, trembling slightly, with the kind of beauty that begged to be ruined. She approached, eyes lowered, holding a goblet of my favorite aged spirit on a silver tray.I took it from her without a word, watching her from the corner of my eye. She lingered, perhaps expecting more orders from her Alpha. Or maybe hoping I’d dismiss her quickly. Foolish.“Turn around,” I ordered. She obeyed instantly, back straightening.I stepped toward her, the drink wa

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 25: A Trap by the Serpent

Alpha Thorne’s Point Of ViewThere they were.Sitting under the early morning rising sun, surrounded by the battered remnants of the garden I once crushed in rage, Kael and Alina stood with a serenity that curdled my blood. Her soft laughter, delicate as a songbird's, floated through the air and pierced me with unforgiving precision. And on her face… was a smile… a smile that was supposed to be only for me.My hands curled into fists, my claws aching beneath the surface of my skin. I remained rooted in the shadows, watching them like a cursed phantom tethered to the past. My blood simmered as I took in every detail about them. The way she leaned into him. The gentleness of his hand brushing back her hair. The way her eyes held him like he was her entire world.Disgust rose in my throat like bile.Kael! That wretched boy.A mistake I never should’ve claimed. A weakling who bore my blood but none of my strength. The bastard who claimed the life of my Luna. And yet, somehow, he was the

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 24 – “Where I Find You”

Alina’s POVI didn't hate mornings in Moonlit as much as I hate it here in Iron Fang, in this place the usual chores were laid out for me like I was some kind of slave instead of the Alpha's chosen mate. This morning didn't feel much different, as the morning light seeped through the high, grimy windows like it always did, I began to feel the difference in the air. The kitchen was oddly silent. No one was barking orders. No clang of pots. No harsh words from the head maid demanding I scrub the floor or clean the latrines. I stood awkwardly at the doorway, half-expecting someone to appear and shove a dirty tray into my hands. But no one did.The kitchen staff barely even acknowledged me. They whispered among themselves and avoided my eyes. And that's when I noticed something more strange… There were no guards following me from a distance. None. Not a single looming shadow trailing my every step like usual. Not one watching me like a hawk, waiting for me to step out of line so they cou

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 23: A New Strategy

Alpha Thorne’s Point Of ViewThe sun had barely begun to rise when a sharp knock rattled my door.“Alpha,” a guard’s voice called from the other side. “Gaius has arrived. He’s waiting for you in the throne room.”I sat up instantly, my head still heavy from last night’s indulgence. My temples throbbed from the wine, but the news sobered me enough to shake off the fog. Gaius. Finally, Perhaps now I’d get some answers about what the hell happened last night… that infernal pain when I tried to claim Alina. It was unlike the first time.. This time it felt like an invisible force that seared into my very bones and flung me back like I was some damn pup. Something was wrong with this prophecy. It had to be.I threw on a robe, my steps hurried and impatient as I made my way down the long halls of the pack house. Servants scattered as I passed, lowering their eyes and scurrying out of the way like frightened rats. Good. They should be afraid. They knew I was never in the mood for niceties.T

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 22: Thorne’s Frustration

Alpha Thorne’s POVThe dim glow of the hearth cast flickering shadows across the stone walls of my chamber. The room reeked of aged whiskey, a testament to the countless bottles I'd consumed in a futile attempt to drown my mounting frustrations. Each sip burned my throat, but it was a mere whisper compared to the inferno raging within me.Alina.The mere thought of her name sent a surge of possessive anger coursing through my veins. She was mine… my breeder, my property. I bought her… Yet, she dared to defy me, to resist the bond I wanted to create with her. And all because of that insipid weakling I was forced to call my son. The very notion made my grip tighten around the crystal tumbler, the glass threatening to shatter under the pressure.I slammed the empty glass onto the mahogany table, the sharp sound echoing through the chamber. The room spun slightly… a consequence of the alcohol but my resolve was clear. Tonight, I would claim what was rightfully mine before I lose out on th

  • Moonlit Warrior: Fated To Her Step Son   Chapter 21: A Desperate Attempt

Kael’s Point Of ViewDarkness surrounded me like a second skin. My body ached in places I didn’t know I could feel pain. Every muscle throbbed, every breath hurt, and even blinking felt like a task. But it wasn’t the pain that kept me from sleeping, it was the silence. The quiet absence of Mira’s knock. The missing letter from Alina. The strange, brutal ambush from my trainer. None of it made sense. And I knew better than to believe that anything was a coincidence in Iron Fang. The moment I heard footsteps down the hallway, I quickly lay perfectly still on my cot, eyes half-lidded, body limp on the cot, pretending I was still unconscious. My breathing was shallow, even, measured—like someone teetering between sleep and death. Then I heard the door creak open.Footsteps entered. Two sets… no, three. Heavy, slow, cautious.I kept my breathing steady.“Still out cold,” one voice muttered. Karrik. The head warrior.I knew his tone… always flat, always cold. But now, there was something el
