Curtis watched the western entrance of the palace still not sure why he was told to watch this entrance when there were busier ones. In fact the people at this entrance were pretty much nonexistent apart from the guards who were guarding the entrance and a few maids. 

This was the maid entrance. Was Penn putting him on a hoax just to waste his time? Curtis wondered. Just as he made his mind to leave, he saw movements from within so he turned back to face the door and watched as a maid was dragged out, her cries could be heard from the place he was standing.
