Chapter 4

I rushed over to her and her eyes were closed. 

"Baby come on open your eyes for me" I tell her

i lift her up and place her on the bed. I call up my buddy that is a doctor and tell him to get here soon. He said he was on his way. I paced back and forth and then I seen her phone laying on the floor. I walk over and pick it up. I slide it to unlock it and freeze at what I see on the screen. It reads: Do you really thing he can protect you? I'm coming for you bitch and you will be mine. I start breathing heavily and there is a knock on the door. I run over and yank it open and there stands Logan.

"She is in here" I tell him walking to the bedroom

"What happened?" He asked

"She got some rather bad knews and fainted. I didn't know what to do and you were the closest" I tell him

"Alright well he blood pressure is a little high but other than that she is fine. I'm going to wake her up." He says

"She we just let her sleep?" I ask

"No I need to know if she is feeling any pain before I leave" He says

I nod and he waves something under her nose and she shoots up. She looks around and sees me standing there and Logan sitting by her.

"Hi Alexis. I'm Logan. Are you feeling any pain? How is your head?" He asks

"Hi. And no pain at all. And my head is a little foggy but that's it" She says

"The foggyness is from the stuff I used to wake you. If you start feeling any head pain have Axel call me right away." He tells her

"I will. Thank you" She says with a small smile

"Your welcome honey. Just take it easy the rest of the day." He says patting her leg and stands

He nods at me and leaves. I walk over and sit down by her.

"I seen it" I tell her

"I figured" She said and lays back closing her eyes

"Lex I will do everything in my power to protect you. He isn't going to hurt you again. We are going to the police about this that away if he shows up the police won't take me to jail when I kill him" I say smirking

She giggles and grabs my hand. She looks at me and sighs and nods. 

"You know I use to love him. I didn't want to marry him it's what daddy dearest wanted. I tried to fight it but he made me marry him for the image. Things were good he tried to win me over and once he did he changed. He got violent and started bringing other women to our home. He locked me in a room for three days with no contact with anyone and starving me. Jace showed up one day when he was gone and found me barely breathing. He rushed me to the hospital and never left my side. Hunter showed up at the hospital and Markus and Jace put him in the hospital. The cops were called and they tried to take them away but I wouldn't allow it. I told them everything and once Hunter got out of the hospital I filed for a divorce and he signed them. I ran and Jace and Markus followed me. Jace found a job but Markus couldn't find another one. He is an amazing lawyer but no one would hire him cause he left his firm with no reason at all for them. That is why I saved all the money I have made to open his own firm. They up and left their lives for me and the least I can do is return the favor of giving what he truly loves. It has been almost two years and the other night was the first night I seen him." She tells me

"Sounds like they love you" I say

"They do. And I love them more than anyone. If it wasn't for them i'd be dead by now" She says

"I know you wanted a weekend to relax but I think we should cut it short. We need to talk to the police and then I have an idea." I tell her

"Ok. Can I have a bath first?" She asks

I chuckle and nod. She sits up and swings her legs over the side of the bed and stands up. She sways a little bit and I grab her sides to steady her. 

"You ok?" I ask

"Yeah. I just stood up to fast." She says turning around to face me

She smiles at me and leans down and kisses me. I respond after a few seconds and grip her hips. She runs her fingers through my hair and tugs a little causing me to groan. I have to stop this so I pull back from her and point to the bathroom. She sighs and nods and walks off. I lay back on the bed and ten minutes later I hear her call me. I run into the bathroom and she is holding up the shampoo bottle. I chuckle and walk over and kneel behind the tub. I put some in my hand and then massage it into her hair. I rinse and do the same with the conditioner. I rinse that and leave her to wash herself. I walk into the bedroom and pull her out some comfy clothes for the drive back. She walks out wrapped in a towel and walks over to the bed and sits down. I walk over and hand her some clothes. She looks at me and grabs them. She slips them on and I have our things carried down to the car. She sighs and leans back on the bed. 

"Come on let's get back and get this done with." I tell her

Time skip to the police station.

We were waiting to talk to the chief and after forty five minutes he finally comes out to get us. We walk back to his office and take a seat.

"What can I do for you two?" He asks

"My ex husband is trying to kill me" Alexis blurts out

"Do you have proof?" The chief asks

"Well there is a report on how he beat me a few years ago and put me in the hospital and now I got this message from him today" She says showing him her phone

"Ok this will reopen your case. Save all messages from him. If he sends you anything don't open it. Call me and I can come to you and you can open it with me." Chief says

"Thank you Larry" She says

"Wait you know each other?" I ask

"We do" She says

"How?" I ask

She looks at him and he offers her a sad smile. 

"Larry is the one that married my mom after my dad did those things to me. My mom died a few months ago from cancer." She tells me

A tear slips down her face and Larry sighs and walks around his desk and pulls her into his arms. 

"Baby girl, I promise you i'm going to find this monster." He tells her

"Thank you daddy" She whispers

He squeezes her and kisses the top of her head.

"Ok no more crying. We still have one more thing to do today and it's a happy thing. Call Markus and tell him to meet us at this address." I tell her

She kisses Larry's cheek an we leave. She calls Markus and tells him where to meet us. We pull up into a empty building and Lex looks at me like I have lost my mind.

"What are we doing here?" She asks

"I own this building. You are going to give it to Markus to open his own firm." I tell her

She gasps and tears up. 

"I can't do that." She tells me

"Yes you can and you will" I tell her placing the keys in her hand

She nods and leans up kissing me. I smile and kiss her back. Markus pulls up and walks over to us.

"Lexi what in the world and I doing here?" He asks

"Well remember how you wanted to open you own firm?" She asks

"Yeah of course I do. It's my dream" He says

"Well now you can." She says tossing him the keys

"You didn't?" He says

"Oh I did!" She squeals

He rushes forward lifting her off the ground spinning her around. She is still laughing and he sits her down and starts kissing all over her face. He finally stops and pulls her into a hug. She relaxes right into his arms and smiles. 

"Thank you baby" He mumers

"Your welcome honey. I can never repay you for what you did for me. But I knew you wanted this so here it is. All you have to do is get started" She tells him

"Oh I am first thing tomorrow. Now you have been crying so what's wrong?" He asks

"How in the world did you know that?" I ask

"Her face is flushed, her eyes are slightly puffy, and her voice is a little horse" He says

"I don't see it" I tell him

"That's cause you have only known her a few weeks. I've known her for years. I've watched her cry and I know when she has and hasn't" He says

"He is after me" She whispers

"WHAT!" Markus shouts

She flinches and sighs and hangs her head. 

"Hey baby no i'm not mad at you. I will happily kill him this time. I would have last time if someone wouldn't have pulled me off him. What happened?" He asks calmly

"He sent me a few texts. I took them to Larry." I tell him with my voice cracking

"Hey it's ok. Jace and I will be there for you no matter what" He says

"Will you two come stay at the house til this is over? I just would feel better if you all three were there?" She whispers

"Sure baby. I'll go home and pack for us both and meet you there in one hour." He says kissing her forehead

He gets in his car and leaves and I walk over to her. 

"I know I should have asked but.." She says with her voice cracking again

"Hey baby you didn't need to ask. It's you home just as much as it is mine. Now let's get home and get the guest room ready. Your going to have to move your things into my room. We are putting them in there cause it's at the other end of the house" I say smirking

"Ok that's fine. Can we go eat? I feel nauseous" she says

I nod and put her in the car and drive home. We pull in and I close the gates.

"Call Jace and tell him the code is 6519 to the gate and to close it when he comes in." I tell her

She nods and calls him and tells him everything and he agrees and says he in on his way. We walk into the house and China barks and Lex smiles and bends down to pick her up. She kisses her puppy nose and we walk into the kitchen.

"Nancy could you make something for dinner. There will be four of us. Normally I wouldn't ask i would do it but I don't feel well. And also Jace and Markus will be staying with us for a while" She tells Nancy

Nancy rushes over and feels her forehead.

"You have a slight fever for takes some meds and get in bed. I'll send up hot tea with Jason in a few. And of course i'll make dinner you don't have to ask. Any requests?" She asks

"Over friend chicken and pick the other things. I want the chicken" She says smiling

"Ok sweetie. Jason will be up soon with you tea. And you mister are staying with me so we can talk" Nancy says

"Yes ma'am. Go lay down love. I'll be up soon" I tell her

She nods and walks off with China. 

"Ok let me hear it" I tell her

"You will put all your trust into this girl and make her trust you. If you do her wrong I will beat you with my frying pan again. Do you understand me young man?" She says sternly 

"Yes ma'am. Nan I already like her and care about her." I tell her

"Well you better cause we like her and care about her as well." Jason says behind me

"Guys please stop. i promise to do my best with this woman." I tell them

They nodded and Jason took Lex her tea and came back with it. 

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Oh nothing. She is just sleeping I didn't want to wake her" He says

I nod and there was a knock on the door. I run over and open it and Jace and Markus walk in. Jace drops his bags and gets ready to run off and I grab his arm.

"Jace she's sleeping. Let her sleep a little while." I tell him

He huffs but nods. His hands were shaking. I sigh and hug him. Nancy walks over and hands him and Markus a cup of tea. They thank her and take a seat. We all were talking when a sleepy Lex walks in. Jace jumps up and runs over hugging her. I see her visibly relax into his arms. I here a sniffle and Jace looks down and a crying Alexis.

"Lexi baby don't cry please. I promise i'm going to be here with you every step of the way." Jace tells her

Her legs give out and Jave lifts her up and goes to sit in the rocking chair with her. He sits there rocking her back and forth till she finally calms down enough to sit up. China barks and she cracks a smile and leans down to pick her up. 

"Well hello cutie. Where did you come from?" Jace asks eyeing me

"I came home from work yesterday to this little one attacking me" Lex says

She smiles and I smile a little. Jason walks in with a cup of hot tea for her and she takes it from him and grabs his hand giving it a squeeze, he squeezes her back and goes back to Nancy. She leans into Jace who wraps his arms around her protectively. 

"Any body up for the hot tub?" She asks

"Sure. Go change and we will meet you there" I tell her

She stands up and sways. We all jump forward and she looks at us with a glare. She bats our hands away and walks upstairs. We all change and she meets us in the pool room. We were all in the water when she came through the door wearing her white bikini. Markus whistles at her and she grins. She drops the towel and Jace and Markus' jaws drop. 

"What is your problems?" She asks them with her hands on her hips

"You are almost naked in front of another male and your not freaking out" Markus says

"Yeah he has seen me naked. I'm ok. I'm not going to break guys" She says stepping into the bubbling water

She sits down sighing and I smile at her. She leans into my side and I hold her hand. Jace was rubbing her feet and she closes her eyes. She hums and we all smile at her. 

"Dinner in 45 minutes you four" Jason calls 

"Thank you Jason" Lex calls

He winks at her and I growl.

"Slow your roll mister. If you would open your eyes Jason and Nancy are together." I tell him

"How in the world do you know that? They have worked here for years and I never have seen anything" I say

"Maybe cause I talk to them like every day. They have been together for three years. I even know a little something else" She says grinning

"No fucking way" I say shocked

"oh yes. And i'm helping. I promises I would." She says smiling

"Well we had two good things come out of today" I say

"Well that was one what was the other?" Jace asks

"You didn't tell him Markus?" Lex growls

"No I haven't gotten the chance." He says shrugging

"Fine. I gave Markus keys to a building today so he can open his own law firm" She says

"You what?" Jace whispers

"Oh yes i did. Now he can do what he always wanted to do. I can never thank you two enough for just uprooting your lives for me. And i'm working on your surprise" She says smiling evily

"Markus tomorrow i'm going to help you call everyone and get things started but there is one thing your going to do for me. And there is no backing out or telling me no. Cause in the end you know I will get what I want anyways" She says sternly

"Yes ma'am" He huffs

"Do not huff at me mister. I know exactly what you want. You were never able to hide shit from me and you know it" She says

"Yeah yeah" He says

"Ok now thats over with how about some towels and dinner?" I ask

"Sounds good. I'm starving" Lex says

"Well I haven't heard you say that in a long time" Jace says

"Well I have been rather hungry lately" She says shrugging

"Wait are you pregnant?" Jace asks

"No my virginity is still in tack thank you very much" She hisses

"Woah sorry. I just wanted to know cause I wanted details" He smirks

"Oh trust me if and when it happens you will be the first person I call. We made a pact and I promised to call you so I will" She says shrugging

I smirk at both of them and laugh a little.

"Are they always like this?" I whisper to Markus

"Always. You should see it when oh well I guess you will. Wait til they are around each other to long they will finish each others sentences it's scary" He says

I nod and I wrap a towel around lex and we walk to the kitchen to see Nancy placing dinner on the table. We all take a seat and dinner was ate in silence. Lex was pushing her food around her plate and I grab her hand causing her to jump. I nod at her plate and she shakes her head and pushes it away and stands up and walks away. I sigh and go to stand up and Nancy places a hand on my shoulder and shakes her head at me. 

"Just let her be. She has been through alot today. Let her come eat when she is ready" She says

"She is right. She gets like this when she is stressed. She will come down later raiding the fridge." Jace says

Time skip to the next morning and Alexis' pov

I woke up and smiled slightly. Today was the day I helped Markus and I was so excited. I jumped out of bed and got a quick shower. I threw on some shorts, a flowy top that was open all the way in the back and showed my belly. I slipped on my shoes and did my make quick and skipped downstairs smiling.

"Good morning my loves" I said kissing everyones cheek

"Well good morning to you to love" Jason says smiling

"You awfully happy this morning" Markus says

"I know. I woke up in a great mood. Now I want bacon, pancakes, and some eggs." I tell Nancy

She smiles and sits it in front of me. I eat three pieces of bacon, a pancake and all my eggs. I drink my tea and stand up and grab a apple biting into it. I turn to see Jace looking at me with wide eyes.

"What?" I ask

"Nothing." He says kissing my forehead

"Alright mister you are mine today well til four. Jace we have a boxing class at five so be ready. Oh and I go to the range tomorrow" I tell them picking up my phone

Everyone was looking at me like I had grown two heads.

"Will you stop staring at me like that? Damn" I hiss

"Alright let's go" Markus says

We slip into the car and head to the office building. We order all the office furniture and I start getting the word out about the new firm and I look into hiring a secretary for Markus. At two we leave and head to the mall. I drag him into Kay's.

"Pick one Markus. It's time. You have been waiting two years to do this. I'm going to be your motivation on this. So choose one now" I tell him

He sighs but nods. He finally picks a ring and we head to the house. I get out and walk inside and I see Axel standing with his back to me. I take off running and jump on his back causing him to stumble. I giggle and he chuckles and I kiss his cheek. Jace runs in and looks around for any danger. 

"What in the hell are you doing?" I ask

"I heard someone stumble. I see that it was just you being a little monkey" He says smiling

He walks by us and kisses my cheek and walks over snuggling into Markus. 

"Oh shit. I gotta get ready so we can go to the gym. You two wanna come with us?" I ask

"Sure." they say and we all wonder off to get ready

I run up the stairs and into the closet and strip out of my clothes and pull on my spandex shorts and my spandex belly shirt. I take out my belly ring and grab my gym bag and walk out of the closet. I jog down the stairs and out the front door to the car. We all get in and head the ten minutes to the gym. We pull up and I jump out and grab my bag and run inside.  The others come in and I was already stretching. I hit the treadmill for a ten minutes working my leg muscles and then I hop off and wrap my hands. I walk over to the punching bag and close my eyes and sigh. I start working out punching like I was beating Hunter and then Jace grabbed me. 

"Ring now" He says

i nod and walk over climbing in. I start bouncing up and down and Jace stands in front of me. He swings and I fuck and jab him in the ribs a few times. He swings again and gets my ribs once. I swing my leg knocking him on his back. I get on top of him swinging. I pin him down and stand up stretching my arms above my head. i hop out of the ring and walk back over to the punching bag and I swing my leg causing it to slid down the rail and split in half. 

"Holy shit" markus says

"What it's not the first time i've split one. But my energy is way up today" I say still bouncing.

"Ok that's enough. Calm down before you over do it." Jace says holding his ribs

I run over and lift his shirt an gasp.

"I'm sorry" I tell him

"Hey it's ok. You won fair and square" He says shrugging

I look over to see Axel dripping in sweat and I groan. I walk over to him and trail my fingers down his sweaty abs and he moans. 

"Hey right here you know" Jace shouts

"And your point?" I ask

"Do not do that in front of me" He says sternly

"Fine. But just remember you live in the same house as us." I say smirking and walking over to grab my gym bag

"Come on let's go shower we are all sweaty. And besides we have to work tomorrow" I say

"Oh we have another event we have to go to" Axel says

"Do I have to?" I ask

"Yes you do. You can bring Jace and Markus if you want." He says

I groan but nod. 

Time skip to tomorrow

I wake up and shower and pull on a skirt, button up blouse and some heels. I curl my hair and do my make up. I walk down stairs to see the guys eating. 

"Good morning loves" I say taking my seat

"Morning baby" They all say

Nancy starts laughing and hands me a cup of tea and I thank her. She nods and hands me my vitamins which I take right away. She places pancakes in front of me and I moan and start stuffing my face. I finish and place my things in the sink and grab my things and head to the door.

"Alexis can I steal you on your lunch break?" Jason asks

"Sure. I'll meet you in the lobby at noon" I tell him

He winks and I walk out the door. I drive to work and head to my office. I was only there ten minutes when flowers were delivered. I smile and open the card and smile. Axel was in his office so I walked in without knocking. He was in there talking to his mom and dad and I stopped in my tracks. 

"Oops sorry. Didn't know you guys were here" I tell them

"Nonsense come talk to us." Amy says

"Well how are you?" Henry asks

"I am great. Especially since a beautiful bouquet of pink roses were delivered to me a few seconds ago. Sad thing is I have no idea who sent them" I say shrugging

"Hmm I wonder who could have sent them?" Amy asks puzzled

"It was probably Jace. He always does stuff like this" I say 

"Actually I sent you those" Axel says causing Amy to snap her head towards him

"You did?" I ask acting shocked

"I did" He says nodding

"Oh ok" I say shrugging

"Well that was sweet of you son" Henry says

"Well I mean why wouldn't I send them to my girlfriend?" He asks

Amy squeals and I bust out laughing. 

"What's so funny?" Axel asks

"I knew you sent them. I was just gonna see how long it took you to tell them we were dating" I say still laughing

Henry high fives me and I smirk.

"Why you little pain in my ass" Axel says and gets up coming after me

I squeal and run around the other side of the desk. Amy laughs and Axel shoots after me. I run over and hide behind Henry who wraps an arm around me. 

"He can't save you" Axel saying coming over to me

He pushes me on the couch and starts tickling me like crazy. I squeal and squirm and he chuckles and stop but not before pecking my lips.

"Ok you two back to work" Henry says

I nod and stand up giving my hair a shake before walking out of the office and start answering emails for him. By time lunch time came around my fingers were numb from typing so much. 

"Hey babe i'm off to lunch with Jason" I holler in his office

"Ok be careful and call me if you need me" He says

"I will" I say and walk down to the lobby

Jason was waiting on me and offers me his arm before we leave.

"Ok so where are we going?" I ask

"To the jewelry store and lunch I can't let you not have lunch." He says

I nod and we drive to Kay's again and he chooses the most perfect ring. We end up at some Italian restaurant eating spaghetti. He drives me back to the office and I kiss his cheek and head back to my office. I hear shouting and I run into Axel's office.

"What the hell? Why are you screaming?" I ask

"Call security to get this bitch out of my office" He hisses

"Call the your fucking self i'm going home" I tell him

I walk out slamming the door and grabbing my things. I head down to my car and drive home. I walk in and huff and sag into the chair at the bar. Nancy sits a glass of white wine in front of me and I send her a sad smile. 

"Tell me what happened" She says

"I went to lunch with Jason and came back to shouting. I ran in and there was some woman in his office. He was shouting at her to leave. He was mad and told me to call security but he was rude and yelling at me. I told him to call them himself and left. I understand he is mad but he will not speak to me like that rather I work for him or not. It was uncalled for and I will not tolerate it." I tell her

"You right sweetie. Just cause he was mad he shouldn't take it out on you" She says rubbing my back

I hear the front door slam shut and Axel walks into the kitchen and grabs my shoulders and yanks me up. I rare back and punch him in the jaw. He staggers back and looks at me in shock. Nancy giggles and Axel glares at her. 

"You will not talk to me like you did today. I don't care if I work for you or not. Just called you were mad gave you no right to talk to me like that. And if you ever put you hands on me like that again I will hand you your ass on the silver platter that you are fed off of. Do you understand me Axel Gage Thorn?" I yell at him

He throws his hands up in surrender and nods. I pick up my glass and drain it and Nancy feels it again. I down that one and walk upstairs. I fill the tub and strip out of my clothes and sink down into the hot pulsing water. I sigh and lean back and close my eyes. I hear a knock on the door and Jace walks in and sighs. He comes over and starts washing my hair for me. 

"You ok? I heard." He says

"I'm fine" I tell him smiling

"Good. I'm proud of you baby" He tells me

I grab his hand and give it a squeeze. There was a tap on the door and Markus steps in and holds up a beautiful red dress. I gasp and he smiles. 

"Finish your bath and you have time for a nap if you want one" He says

I nod and he kisses my forehead and leaves me alone with Jace again. I finally get out of the tub when the water starts getting cold. I dry off and slip on some boy shorts and Jace's jersey and slide into bed and instantly fall asleep. I don't know how long I slept til Markus was waking me up.

"Come on love. You have to get ready. You have a hour." He says

  I nod and slide out of bed. I walk into the bathroom and start braiding my hair to the side. I pull on it a little to puff it up some and then I do my make up adding my signature red lipstick and then I walk over and pull the dress on. I step into my sparkly stilettos to make the dress. I add a simple necklace and earrings and then I grab my phone and head downstairs. I guess the guys heard me cause their head snapped towards me. I smile and twirl and the whistle at me. 

"Alright let's go." I tell them

We walk out and the limo was waiting on us. We all slide in and we enjoy the quiet ride there. Once again the paparazzi were crazy.

"I won't leave you" Axel whispers in my ear

I nod and he slides out offering me his hand. I step out and Jace and Markus follow us. They stay around me so no one touches me. We make it inside and I spot Hunter and tense. He sees me and glare and I glare right back but not before linking my arm with Markus. I see Hunter pale and I wink at him. We walk around talking to a bunch of people when i feel someone grab me. I spin around and I was Jack.

"Jacky don't do that you gave me a heart attack" I hiss at him

He chuckles and hugs me. 

"Where is Stacy?" I ask

"Home. She has the flu" He tells me

"Aw. How is Abagail?" I ask

"She is great. She is with my mom and dad til Stace is better" He says

I nod and sigh.

"What is it?" He asks

"He is staring at me" I whisper

"Want to scare him?" Jack asks

"Yes please" I say

"Go get you a drink alone. I will watch you from here and once he starts talking to you we will all come over" He says

I nod and walk over to the bar. I order a glass of wine and I feel someone grip my arm to tight. I knew it was him and I turn around. I was about to speak when a fimilar voice spoke up.

"You better remove your hands from her right this second before we remove you limbs from your fucking body" Shouts Markus

Hunter pales but doesn't release me. I pull and he tightens his grip. Hunter turns around and Markus throws a fist to his face. Hunter stumbles and let's go of me. 

"Next time I see you around her or touch her and I will happily end your pathetic life. Imagine how bad your precious image will be damaged when you two go back to court about you stalking her and trust me we will bring up the fact that you put her in the hospital the first time. I have proof so try me big man. You want to act all bad cause you beat women well let's it try it out on me? Are you feeling lucky cause I sure as hell am. Now go back to your STD whores and leave our girl alone. Cause next time it won't be me punching you in the face it will be a bullet in you fucking head" Markus roars

Hunter stumbles away scared and doesn't come back over at all. I reach up and touch Markus' shoulder and he tenses and turns to face me. He sighs and lifts my arm to look at me. He kisses the reddened skin and pulls me into a hug. 

"Are you ok?" He asks

"I'm fine I promise. Nice punch by the way" I tell him

"Thanks. At least some people know what he done cause everyone is still staring at us" He whispers

"Ok everyone back to what you were doing. Nothing to see here" Axel yells

Everyone scatters and Jace pulls me to the dance floor and starts spinning me around. A slow song starts and Markus steps in and I lay my head on his chest and dance with him. I smile and look up at him.

"You my big teddy bear are my night in shining armor" I whisper to him

"And you are my princess" He whispers

I grin and he kisses my forehead. After dancing an mingling some more we headed home. Once again I fell asleep on the way home and was carried inside. The week went by smoothly and the weekend was getting near. I closed up thursday night and we headed to the lobby. 

"What do you see we do a redo of our drama free weekend?" Axel asks

"That sounds amazing. I'm so tired." I tell him

"We will leave in the morning. I'll have Nancy pack for you so you can sleep in tomorrow morning before we leave. We can even take Jace and Markus if you want to" He says

I nod but don't say anything. We get home and I walk in the door kicking off my shoes and slumping down on the couch. Jace walks in and sighs. 

"Come on cinderella let's get you in the bath and in a bed. Markus is making chili tonight" He tells me

I grin and lay my head on his shoulder. After Jace washed my hair he helped me out of the tub and back downstairs where he layed me on the couch to rest.

"Hey baby come eat then you can sleep" Jace says

I nod but don't move. He sighs and lifts me up and takes me to the table. He sits down with me in his lap and I start eating slowly. I finish it off an lay my head on his chest and I soon feel myself drift off into a peaceful sleep. I wake the next morning to Markus playing with my hair. 

"Good morning love" He whispers

"Morning." I say back

"Go shower and get dressed we leave in 45 minutes" He says standing up

I grab his hand and pull him back down before I snuggle into his chest. He chuckles and let's me lay there for a while. 

"I think i'm falling for him" I whisper

"That's ok baby. It's time to move on and be happy. Maybe a family and some little ones" Markus tells me

I stiffen and he sighs. 

"It's ok. When it happens everything will be ok. But for now go shower and meet me down stairs. I laid out your clothes so hurry up." He tells me and stands up

I nod and run to shower. I wash off quickly and dry my hair. I pull my hair into a messy bun on top of my head and do my make up. I grab the clothes off the counter and laugh. I slip on the shorts and then the shirt that is shredded in alot of places and slip on some ankle socks and my vans. I grab my phone and skip down stairs. I kiss Markus' cheek and he spins me around and winks. I move around kissing everyone cheek and hug Nina. I start cooking before they can say anything. Jace puts on my music and I was dancing and singing while cooking. Jace walks over and spins me and dips me. I giggle and lean up and peck his lips. Markus growls and I smirk at him.

"Aww do you want some love to?" I ask him

"No way" He huffs out

I skip over to him and peck his lips to. He grins and I hug him. I hear my bacon pop and I run over to take it off the stove. I plate up everyone's food and I take a seat and start stuffing my face. I could feel them staring at me but I didn't dare look at them cause I knew I would stop eating. I finished off my apple juice and stood up and took my plate to the sink. I started washing them and was humming. I turned around to see everyone looking at me. 

"What?" I ask

"Nothing love. Let's get going" Axel says

I shrug and walk over and hug Nancy.

"China" I call whistling loud

Jace covers his ears and I smirk. China runs in barking and I smile and clip on her leash.

"Your taking China?" Axel asks

"duh" I say walking to the door

I soon feel a stinging on my ass and i yelped. Axel chuckles and I glared at him. He shook his head and we headed to the car. We all piled in with China in my lap. I roll down the window as we zoom down the highway. China barks and I laugh at her and kiss her nose. She sticks her head out the window and I smile and lean back closing my eyes. About a hour later I felt someone kissing my forehead. I smile and open my eyes to see Axel looking at me. 

"We here?" I ask

"Yeah come on love" He says picking up China

I step out of the car and link my arms with Jace and Markus and follow Axel inside. He walks up to the counter and the bitch behind the counter was flirting with him. She reached out to touch him and I grabbed her wrist bending it backwards.

"Do you want to keep this arm?" I hiss at her

She squirms and I bend it more. 

"Yes i do" She whispers

"Then keep your damn hands to yourself" I hiss at her

She nods and I let go. She hands over the penthouse keys and I turn to see the guys with their mouths wide open.

"Shut them or I will do it for you" I hiss at them

The close them and we head up stairs. I push the door open and China runs in barking. I felt arms wrap around my waist and a kiss on my neck that caused me to moan. 

"Hey. Enough of that. you mister better keep it in your pants." Jace shouted

I jumped and walked off to a bedroom slamming the door and locking it. I lay on the bed for a while and then there was a knock on my door.

"Go away" I say

"Lexi open the door" Markus says

I walk over and unlock it and he opens it and steps in.

"You know he is just looking out for you" He says

"But it's not his decision it's mine. As in I decide when and where and how and to whom I want to have sex with. Me this is about me not him!" I shout

"I know baby" He says hugging me

"I'm going to the gym." I say pulling out my workout clothes

I strip down and pull on my spandex shorts and shirt. I slip on my shoes and grab my headphones and Ipod and walk out of the room. I see the guys sitting on the couch when I walk out and Jace stands and I shake my head and walk out the door. I walk down to the gym and jump on the treadmill and I get lost in running and listening to my music. After two hours a jog back upstairs. I jog over to the fridge still bouncing up and down dripping in sweat. I grab a bottle of water and down it still bouncing. I turn to see the guys looking at me. 

"What?" I ask

"Nothing. You just can't stop bouncing" Axel states

"I know. I ran for a hour and then did my sit ups, push ups, and squats. If I just all of a sudden stop it's hard for me to breathe. I have to bounce it out" I tell him

"You did all that?" He asks shocked

"Duh. I dont box for nothing. I still have to work out" I tell him rolling my eyes

"Well ok then" He says tossing me another bottle of water

I caught it and chugged it down and finally settled down on my bouncing. I sat on the bar stool and plugged my Ipod into the dock and turned up the music. Just to see you Smile started playing and Jace offered me his hand and I took it. We swayed and he sang in my ear. He spun me and Markus caught me and Jace still sang and Markus spun me around again. I was grinning and he dipped me and pulled me back up. I laughed and sat back down. Good morning beautiful started playing and I started humming. 

"Sing for me love" Markus says

I sigh and started singing with the song. I started pulling out things for dinner and kept singing. After that song ended Just a kiss started playing and I grinned. I started singing this song as I cooked the italian popcorn chicken. I hit a high note and dropped what I was doing. I got lost in the song and closed my eyes while still singing. The music ended and I turned around to see Jace grinning hard.

"What is it?" I ask

"You haven't sang like that in a long time. I forgot what it was like to see you lose yourself in your music again." He says shurgging

"I don't know something is different and I feel good again. My signing is back and i'm back to my old self. I feel amazing and I don't need these" I say tossing Jace my sleeping pills

"Really? When was the last time you took these?" He asks

"The night before I got sick" I say shrugging

"You mean to tell me you have went two weeks without these?" He asks

"Yup." I tell him

He grins and shoots around the counter and lifts me up hugging me and spinning me around. I giggle and he hugs me tighter. 

"That's amazing. I'm happy for you baby" Markus says

I grin and Axel looks confused. 

"I've been on sleeping pills since I ended up in the hospital. I had bad nightmares and the meds helped. Since I have been sleeping in the same bed with you I don't have them and I sleep through the night without them" I tell him shrugging

"That's great babe" He says walking over and kisses me

I smile into the kiss and I hear a click and I turn to see Jace looking at Markus with a smirk on his face. 

"Let me see it" I tell him

He sighs and slides his phone over. I look at it and show Axel. He takes the phone and sends the picture to his phone and slides Jaces back over to him and pulls out his phone. He sets the picture as his background and I smile at him. 

"You know what we are going to celebrate" I say smiling

I pick up my phone and call Amy. 

"Hello sweetie" She says

"Hi Amy. Are you and Henry busy this weekend?" I ask

"No honey. What's going on?" She asks

"Well we are celebrating something and I want you two to join us. And I have some other things to tell you two" I tell her

"Sure. Where do you want to meet?" She says

"Well we are at the hotel by the beach. I wanted a stress free weekend with the guys" I tell her

"Actually that works out cause Henry had a meeting down that way so we are already in that area. We will see you in a hour." She says

"Ok i'm going to put the chicken in the fridge. Now I want you three in tuxes in a hour. I have to get ready. Now shoo" I tell them

They laugh and all kiss my cheek or forehead and run off. I walk off to the master bedroom and into the closet. I pull out the garment bag and sigh. I jump in the shower and wash quickly. I step out dry off and blow dry my hair. I curl it and leave it hanging down my back. I do my make up and add some bright pink lipstick and gloss over to make it shine. I slip on the dress and then step into the silver strappy heels. I grab my silver clutch purse and add my lipstick, phone, some money, and my Id. I walk down the stairs with my heels clicking again the hardwood floors. I step into the room and Jace gasps.

"Is that?" He asks pointing to the dress

I nod and twirl for them. He grins and walks over to me and hugs me. Amy and Henry walk in and Amy gasps.

"What is it?" I ask

"You look beautiful" She says smiling

"Well thank you. But you two need to sit while I tell you this. And do not show me any pity and if you start crying I will smack you" I say sternly

They nodded and took a seat. 

"Hunter Wilkerson. I'm pretty sure it rings a bell. My father married me off to the monster and he beat me for three years. I got away from him almost two years ago and got my divorce. I ended up in the hospital and they got the evidence they needed but my father kept him out of prison. My mother knew nothing about it. My father divorced her and left her with nothing and he wouldn't let her take me. She married again to a man that loved her more than anything. She passed away five months ago from cancer and my dad my moms husband is the chief of police he is looking into Hunter again. Hunter recently seen me and wants me back and has been stalking me. Henry was just staring at me in shock and Amy eyes were watering. 

"Oh no. Don't do it" I snap her her

She nods and gives her head shake and stands up. 

"Well then what are we celebrating?" She asks

"Well I haven't been on my sleep meds in two weeks and my singing is back so we ar celebrating getting the old me back." I tell her

"Well then let's go. This is no time to be all betty buzz kill" She says laughing

I giggle and Henry offers me his arm and I take it and China barks.

"No China stay girl" I tell her

She whines and runs over and lays down. 

I pull my hair over my shoulder and I hear Henry gasp. He stops dead in his tracks and I look at him. Everyone had went ahead of us so I turned around and moved my hair all the way. 

"Oh my. Baby are you ok?" He asks

"I'm fine. It was worse when I had no one around me. But Jace and Markus got me back on my feet and got me on my meds. Axel helps alot now. Even when i'm at work if I have a moment he let's me come in and just be near him." I say shrugging

Henry moves my hair back covering the scar and offers me his arm again. We walk down talking and laughing.

"What took you two so long?" Axel asks

"We were talking about something" I say winking at Henry

"I'm sorry but i'm stealing your husband tonight" I tell her

"Oh no how ever will I survive" She says dramactically

I bust out laughing and she laughs with me. 

"So miss let's go celebrate where are we going?" Axel asks

"Well I made reservations for us to have dinner. And then we are all going dancing. And you can't say no." I tell them

"Well then let's go. I haven't been dancing in a long time but i'm up for it" Amy says sliding into the limo

I grin and slide in with her. We arrive at the restaurant and the hostess grins at Axel.

"Reservation" She says

"Petrova" I tell her

"So we are all booked" She tells me

"Go get me the owner" I hiss at her

She huffs and walks off. She comes back with a man and I turn around and he looks shocked. 

"Well well if it isn't Alexis" He hisses

"Well well if it isn't Jacob" I hiss back

"Woah calm down babe" Axel says

Jacob and I bust out laughing and I walk over and hug him. I was much shorter than him so my feet left the ground when he hugged me. He sat me back down and cupped my face with his hands. 

"Now let's get you to your table." He hisses at the hostess

I glare at her and she shrinks back. 

"Now you my beautiful flower what do want for dinner?" Jacob asks

"Surprise us. And please remember my allergy. Oh and white wine" I tell him smiling

He nods and kisses my head and walks off to the kitchen.

"How do you two know each other?" Axel asks

"Calm your jealous nerve. He is my brother in law" I tell him

"You have a sister?" He asks

"No just a sister a twin actually" I tell him

He chokes on his water and looks at me. 

"Yeah shocking I know." I say

I hear a squeal and I stand up before I'm tackled into a hug. 

"I missed you" She whispers clinging to me

"And I missed you so much" I say clinging to her to

She leans back and looks at me. She twirls he finger and I spin for her. She smiles and I look down and gasp. 

"I'm going to be an Aunt?" I squeal

"Yes you are. We are having a" She says before Jacob slaps a hand over her mouth

"What I wanna know" I whine

" Oh no ma'am. I don't want to know" Jacob says

"So does that mean i can be in there with you?" I ask

"Yes it does. But i can also tell you if someone will go back to the kitchen" She glares at her husband

"Alright i'm going." He says and walks away

"We are having a girl" She says

I squeal and the whole restaurant looks at me. 

"Go back to your business just a happy soon to be Aunt over here" I tell them

They start clapping and my sister smiles and waves. 

"We are in town all weekend. Shopping tomorrow?" I ask her

"Yes please. Now enjoy your night and call me in the morning" She says hugging me

I hug her back and sigh. She pulls away and heads back to the kitchen. I take my seat and pick up my wine glass and down it all. Jacob soon brings our food out and sits my favorite chicken in front of me. I eat one bite and moan.

"Maybe I should have married you" i tell him

He chuckles and steals a bite of my chicken.

"Damn i'm good" He says standing up

"Yes sir you are. Now what are you going to fatten me up with for dessert?" I ask

"Well i did make strawberry short cakes" He says shrugging

"Yup I should have married you" I tell him grinning

"Oh dear sister you could have but i married him first" Abby says smiling

"Oh I know. But his cooking makes me want to marry him" I whine

"Yeah yeah we know his cooking is amazing. That's why I married him duh" She says laughing

I giggle and keep eating. 

"Now stop eating before he gets your dessert out here." She tells me

"But it's so good" I whine

"Here love" Jacob says placing my dessert in front of me

I smile and dig into it. I look up to see everyone eyeing me. 

"Well well look at the fatass stuffing her fat face" Hunter hisses

I stand up and turn around and smirk. I shove another mouthful in my mouth and moan.

"Yup and it's so good. And last time I checked 120 pounds was good for me. Hhmm maybe you should check on your weight you looking kinda chubby." I say glaring at him

"At least i'm not ugly and fat" He hisses and grabs my arm

"Touch me ever again and i promise you will come face to face with a gun and five men willing to put you six feet under. I'm not that naive little girl I was five years ago. I smile at her and reach out and touch her baby bump. I lean my head on her tummy and she wraps her arms around my shoulders. I turn to see Jace crying and I stand up and walk over to him and wrap my arms around him and he squeezes me til it's hard for me to breathe. 

"Jace baby i love you but if you keep squeezing me you will kill me" I tell him

"Oops sorry baby. I'm very proud of you" he says

"Ok that's enough. We are all proud of her" Larry says

I gasp and turn around. 

"What are you doing here?" I say running over to hug him

"Well we were keeping an eye on you and we were outside when he walked in. I came in and stood in the corner and seen the whole thing. You did amazing. Your mother would be so proud of you" he says hugging me

I smile and sigh. 

"Ok so dancing?" Markus says

"Yes let's go. Jacob do you and Abby want to come?" I ask

"Sure let me just tell Manny to close up tonight" He says

"Wait Manny is in the kitchen?" I ask grinning

"Come on" He says

"I'll be right back" I tell everyone before walking off

We walk into the kitchen and I walk up behind Manny and wrap my arms around him and sway a little. He gasps and turns around. He scoops me up spinning me around. 

"My baby. How are you?" He asks

"I'm good Manny. Alot better" I tell him

"That's great flower" He says

"I just wanted to come say hey. When Jacob here gives you a night over or a few nightssss come stay a few days with us. We need to catch up and I need my shopping buddy. Axel sucks at shopping with me" I tell him

"Axel?" Manny asks

"My boyfriend" i tell him smiling

He looks at me with a shocked face and I laugh.

"I'm happy for you flower. Now go have fun and i'll call you tomorrow" He says 

I nod and walk back to my group.

"What was that about?" Amy asks

"Oh my other lover works in the kitchen" I say shrugging

She gasps and looks at Axel.

"Amy i'm kidding. Just a friend I grew up with since we were in diapers" i tell her laughing

Henry offers me his arm and we all walk out to the limo and head to the dance club. We arrive at the club and we all get out and walk past the line. People were shouting about it and I smirked. 

"Ms. Alexis always a pleasure" The bouncer Ted says

"Ted as always it's good to see you" I say hugging him

He opens the door and winks at me. I wink back and walk inside. Jace walks up and wraps his arm around my shoulders. 

"I see you redecorated again" He says in my ear

"Yeah it needed to be done." I told him 

I walk over to main VIP section and take a seat. A waitress walks over and I smile at her. 

"Alexis how are you?" She says

"I'm fine sweetie. Now I want my usual and so will the boys. What do you guys want?" I ask 

They look at me shocked and I looked at them like they were crazy.

"Well tell the poor girl what you want" I hiss

"A rum and coke, make that three. I'll have a margarita" They all say

"Bring a coke for Abby" I tell her

She nods and walks off and everyone was looking at me again.

"Oh sorry. I own the club" I tell them

"What? How?" Amy asks

"Oh I stole money from Hunter. He abused me so I stole from him and opened the club. It's good business and it's free alcohol for me" I say smiling

The girl comes back with all our drinks and places them on the table and I smile. I pick up my shot glass and down my patron and grin. I finish off my three and grab Amy's hand and pull her to the dance floor. She laughs and dances with me. For a mom and a older woman she can move. 

"You know for a mom and older woman you can move still" I yell over the music

"I use to be a dancer" She yells back

I look at her shocked and smile. Soon i feel hands on my hips and I smile. Jace spins me around and I dance with him. After three hours I was slightly tipsy and I strut over to Axel and sit in his lap. He chuckles and kisses my cheek.

"Can we go? I'm ready to get out of these shoes my feet are killing me" I tell him

"Sure baby. Come on" He says standing up

We all head out and Ted hugs me on the way out the door. 

"Well you Alexis seem to full of surprises. Thank you for a wonderful night" Henry says

"Your welcome. We all needed a night of drama and fun. Now Abby i'm going to sleep in tomorrow. So lunch and then shopping" I tell her

"Sure Lexi. I'll call you tomorrow" She says hugging me

Jacob hugs me and kisses my forehead and leaves with Abby. Amy and Henry hug me and head home and then all four of us take the limo back to the hotel. We walk in the lobby and I stumble and laugh at the same time. Markus laughs at me and beds down to take off my heels. I sigh and kiss his cheek.

"You just became my knight in shining armor." I say giggling

He chuckles and Axel scoops me up in his arms and carries me upstairs. Jace and Markus say their goodnights and head to bed. Axel carries me to bed and strips me out of my dress.
