Chapter 22
Weeks had passed and things between Xavier and I had gotten so good. I was currently at work and he was at work. He was picking up the kids later and I would meet him at my house. I loved having him around all the time.
"Hey babe" Axel says walking in
"Axel" I warn
"What we can't help it. Get over it. Now did you happen to finish that report?" He asks
"Yeah. It's over there. And we still on for dinner later?" I ask
"Yeah. I already talked to Austin. I'm bringing the wine and Austin is bringing your favorite dessert." He says
I smile and he kisses the top of my head and leaves. I slip my shoes back on and grab my keys and phone and walk out of my office. Once I get to my car I head home and take a nice long shower. By time I made it back downstairs everyone was walking through my front door.

It had been six months since I left and today I was headed back. I had been seeing a therapist and I knew I was a lot better than I was when I left. When I pulled up to the house the guard nodded at me. I didn't know what to expect when I walked in the front door but I was greeted by Charlie and I smiled. "hey boy. Is daddy home?"
