Chapter 24

It had been a few days and I was sitting in my bathroom with a pregnancy test in my hand and I sigh. The door opens slowly and Jace stands there looking at me. I motion for him to come over and he kneels in front of me.

"Take it babe. You need to know and he deserves to know if you are" He tells me softly

"I'm scared. I didn't want more kids. Yes Haley is grown and Hannah is getting there and then Jer happened and it was a shock but I don't if I can do it again" I tell him

"I'll wait outside the door. You take that now and then I'll be here with you while you look" He tells me

He stands and gets up walking out. I sigh and take the test and I lay it on the counter and wash my hands. I open the door and Jace wraps a arm around me and I sigh. The timer goes off and I walk in taking and look and I frown. A tear slips down my cheek and I look at Jace.

He comes over hugging me and I sniffle and hug him tighter.
