Chapter 23

It's been a few months since the court date and I was finally getting into a routine. Hales was doing great at her new job and Hannah was doing great at her new school. Jeremy was finally going to start a day care and I was going back to work full time. I left Paul to run the club but I popped in every now and then to check in on things. Xavier and I were doing great and had mad it mandatory to have a date night once a week. I didn't want this relationship to turn into one of my old relationships. I wanted to make this work so badly. I have fallen in love with him but neither of us have uttered the words to one another but tonight I was planning a dinner and I was going to tell him. I had made reservations at one of my favorite places and picked out the best dress ever. Just as I was checking off things on my list for tonight my phone rang.

"Hello?" I say

"Hey babe. I just wanted to call and tell you that I have a trainee coming into tonight so I won't be able to make dinner" Xavie
