Chapter 2

I woke up the next morning with a arm wrapped around my waist. I squealed really loud causing the person to shoot up and fall off the huge bed. I hear him groan and I roll to look down. I bust out laughing and he peeks a eye open at me. 

"Oh my god... I'm so... sorry.. I forgot you were behind me... Are you ok?" I say still laughing

He chuckles and looks up at me. 

"I'm fine Lex. That's the first time I've slept through the night in a long time. I should barrow you more often" He mumbles

"Surprisingly after you started on my back I was out like a light. I have never passed out that fast. I guess I really was tired." I say

"What time is it?" He asks

"Ten" I sigh gapsing

"Holy shit I'm late" He says jumping up

"Woah wait stop" I tell him

"What is it?" He asks

"Your already late. Call them and tell them you aren't coming in today. We are going to make this place a little more Alexis friendly. And then I'm going to make lunch and we are going to rent movies and enjoy one care free day." I tell him

"Why the hell not" He says picking up his phone

I grin and he smiles back at me. 

"Well don't just sit there go shower" He says

"Can I barrow your tub? It has jets" I say pouting

"Fine." He says chuckling

"See we should be like this around each other. Maybe we won't want to kill each other every five seconds" I tell him jumping up

The covers get tangled around my feet and I feel myself falling. I close my eyes waiting on the pain but it never comes. I open to eyes to see Axel looking down at me.

"Are you ok?" He asks

"Yeah I tend to get overly excited when I get my way and don't look before I try to walk" I tell him

"Well slow your roll for a hour and then we will go shopping" He tells me

I nod and he releases me and the door bell rings. I look at him and he looks at me and I take off running and he chases me. He catches me around my waist as I grab the door knob. 

"Alexis, Axel what in the world?" Amy says

"Oh sorry. We were fighting over who was going to answer the door. Well not really fighting we were actually playing. What can I do for you mom?" Axel asks

"Just want to check on Alexis but I see she's fine. And why aren't you two at work?" She asks

"Well we woke up late and Lex talked me into not going in today so we could make this place more Lex friendly and we are doing a junk food and movie day" Axel tells her

"Are you serious? Mister I never eat junk food and work out like eight hours a day?" Amy says

My eyes bug out and I stare at him shocked.

"Yes mom. Now we would like to get back to it." He tells

"Axel you be nice to your mother. Now Amy would you like a cup of tea?" I ask

He huffs and I wink at him.

"No thank you sweetie. You two enjoy your day and maybe we could retry dinner later this week?" She asks

"I would love to" I tell him

"Ok then. Have fun" She says hugging me and kissing Axel's cheek

She leaves and Axel looks at me and stares.

"Bath now" He says pointing 

"Yes dad" I say

He smacks my ass as I walk by and I gasp and freeze. I hear him calling my name then I feel him shake me. 

"What?" I whisper

"I'm sorry I was just playing. We were being playful that was it. I'm really sorry" He says

"No it's ok. It's been a long time since someone was playful with me. My last relationship as you can tell didn't end well and the ones before that were just as bad. I only had one where we were this playful all the time. It's a nice memory I was just thinking. Ok i'm off to steal you amazing bathroom" I tell him

"Ok. You know i'm always here if you ever want to talk" He tells me

I nod and kiss his cheek and walk back up the stairs to his bathroom. I start the water and add some bubbles and strip and step in. I sigh and lean my head back. About ten minutes later there was a knock on the door. It opened and Axel stepped in. the bubbles hid everything so he couldn't see me naked. 

"I thought you would like this" He says handing me a cup of hot tea

I take a sip and moan. I sit it down on the side of the tub and then I hear the shower cut on. I look over to see a naked Axel step in the shower. 

"Staring isn't nice" He says with a smirk

"Wasn't staring. But If I had a body like that i'd stare at myself all day" I tell him

He chuckles and gets to work washing up. He steps out and wraps a towel around his waist. I grab the shampoo and start to wash my hair. He kneels behind me and starts washing my hair for me. I moan when his nails scratch my scalp. He chuckles and I laugh.

"Don't judge. It's been forever since someone done this for me. Jace does it when I'm really sick or sad but other than that no one has ever done it for me." I tell him

"You mean you never had a boyfriend who washed you hair for you?" He asks

"Nope not one. I mean I'm a 26 year old virgin." I tell him

He starts coughing and looks at me with wide eyes.

"What? Then how?" He starts

"Because I never would give it up. My daddy dearest married me off to a monster who you can tell abused me for three years. I finally got away from him last year." I tell him as he rinses my hair and conditions it and rinses that as well

I wash off and stand up and he hands me a towel while his back is turned. i step out and then realize I forgot my clothes. 

"Is that where the scars came from?" He asks

"Yeah. The one on my leg is the smallest one I have. The one you seen on my should goes half way down my back." I tell him turning and moving my hair and lowering the towel

All I feel is him pull the towel back up and wrap it around me. 

"Go get dressed I promised a day of fun" He says smacking my ass again

I laugh and walk off towards the guest room. I walk in and pull on some boy shorts and my matching black push up bra.

"Hey Axel what is the temperature suppose to be today?" I holler

"Around 90" He yells back

I pull out some high wasted shorts and a crop top that shows off my belly ring and I slip on my ankle boots. I brush out my hair and blow dry it and straighten it right away. I do my make up to perfection and brush my teeth. I walk out of my bathroom and grab my money and phone shoving them in my back pocket and then I head down stairs. I look up to see Axel staring at me with lust. I twirl and he chuckles. He offers me his arm and I raise my eyebrow at him and shrug and take it. We walk down to the garage and he looks at me. 

"Pick one" He says

My jaw drops literally and I picked the Porsche of course. He grabs the keys and hands them to me. 

"For real?" I ask

"Yeah. You wanted the fun care free day. So drive us to where ever we are going Ms. Petrova" He says smirking

I squeal and jump in putting the top down. I pull out of the garage. The tires squeal as I press down on the gas and we shoot down the road. Axel clutches the door and I giggle. I turn on the radio and Just the way you are is playing. I starting singing and Axel smiles at me. I pull into furniture store and park the car. 

"We aren't getting furniture but we are changing those god awful curtains and getting a few other things. I will have them delivered." I tell him

He nods and we walk in. I pick new curtains, new dishes, among other things.  I buy myself a new comforter and silk sheets. I place some of the things in the trunk and Axel takes the keys and we head to the mall. We pull in and he puts up the top and gets out with me following him. I here a few guys whistle at me and I tense. Axel notices and he takes my hand and kisses the back of it and them wraps his arm around my shoulders pulling me into his side. He glares at the guys and the back off. 

"Thank you" I whisper

"You are going to thank me by going into this store and buying a bathing suit. No questions just go do it and i'll wait right here" He tells me

I look at him for a minute before I sigh and go pick out a lime green bathing suit and a white see through cover up. I pay for it and walk back to him. I see he bought some trunks and we head back to the car. We get in and he puts the top back down and we head down the road. I raise my hands above my head and get on my knees in the seat. I lean back letting my head fall back enjoying the wind and sun. I head Axel chuckle and I look down at him. I sit back down biting my lip and he reaches over giving my hand a squeeze. We drive for another hour or so and the next thing I see is the beach. 

"What are we doing here?" I ask

"You wanted a fun day will i just drove us two hours to bring you to the beach. So take your ass in that bathroom and change." He tells 

"Yes sir" I tell him walking off to the bathroom

I run in and stip down and change and put on my cover up.  I sigh and hang my head and step out of the bathroom. I seen Axel waiting on me

I walk over to him and he takes my hand and pulls me over to the tent set up. There was food and wine and I looked at him surprised. 

"I called ahead and had someone set it up" He say shrugging

I smile and sit down.

"Stand up" He tells me 

I stand he walks over and grabs the end of my cover up and eases it up my body. I tense and i look up at him. 

"Relax" He whispers

I nod and relax. He pulls it over my head and drops it in the chair. He picks up the sun tan lotion and pours some in his hand. He rubs it together in his hands and stands rubbing down my arms and tones tummy. He works down my legs and I tense. He goes slowly and I relax. He finishes and stands and motions for me to turn around. I tense again and shake my head no. He nods and I sigh. I turn around and he moves my hair and starts rubbing the lotion into my lower back. He moves up and kisses my bare shoulder and I relax and then he turns me around and looks down at me. 

"There all done" he says

I look at him shocked and then down at myself.

"How?" I asked

"I distracted your mind from me touching you to me kissing your shoulder. You relaxed and I was done." He says shrugging

"Wow. I'm gonna have to tell Jace that one. He is gonna freak that someone besides him and Markus actually touched me without me freaking out" I say smiling

"Your ok?" He asks

"Axel honey i'm more than ok." I tell him picking up my wine glass smiling

He nods and when I sit my wine glass down the next thing I know i'm looking at Axel's ass. 

"Axel put me down now" I squeal

He chuckles as I slap his ass and he slaps mine back. He walks out into the water and let's me slide down his body. I turn from him and dive under the water and swim out some. i pop up and look back for him and he is gone. The next thing I know I was lifted out of the water. I squeal and Axel pops up chuckling. 

"Don't do that. I almost had a heart attack." I screech

"Oh come on it was funny." He says laughing

I groan and head back to the beach. I lay out my towel and lay down on my tummy while slipping on my shades. I lay there for a while then I hear music playing. I smile and jump up looking around. I see some people partying down the beach and smirk. I run over and throw on my cover up and grab Axel's hand and run down to where the music is playing. Axel backs away and I pull him over anyways. I start dancing and Axel chuckles at me. I place my hands around his neck still swaying my hips. I growl at him cause he won't move with me. I turn around and start grinding my ass into. He grips my hips and I smirk. He soon starts moving with me. I loose myself in the music and then I was turned around and he kissed me. I pulled back and walked over grabbing my clothes and running over to the bathroom. I rinse off in the shower there and throw on my clothes. I walk back out and straight to the street to grab a cab. I had enough money to get me home.

"Lex wait" Axel yells

I get in the cab and pull out my phone. I scroll through and find Jace's number.

"Hello?" He says

"Jacey come get me" I sniffle 

"Where are you baby?" He asks

"I'll be at the mall in ten minutes. I'm a hour from you" I tell him

"What the? Nevermind just get to the office and i'll pick you up" He says

"Ok" I mumble and hang up

"You ok sweetie?" the cab driver asks

"I will be" I tell him

"Harry" He says smiling

"Alexis" I tell him

He nods and continues driving. We pull up to the offie finally and I smile and pull out the money. 

"Don't worry about it" Harry says

"But that was a long way" I tell him

"Here is my car call me if you ever need me sweetie" He says

"Thank you so much" I tell him stepping out

"And forgive that man for what ever he did. I can honestly say it's not worth whatever it was. I should know. I messed up and my Gracie left me a long time ago and til this day she won't speak to me when we see each other" He tells me

I nod and thank him again and Jace runs over to me.

"What happened?" He asks

"Alot. But he kissed me" I tell him letting the tears fall

Jace sighs and hugs me again. He gets me in the car and I must have fallen asleep cause the next thing I know I wake up and it's morning and I have to get ready for work. I get up getting a shower and realize I have no work clothes here. Jace walks in and hands me a bag. There was a cute outfit inside for work.

"Thanks" I mumble

He nods and walks out. I get dressed and do my hair and make up an walk down to the kitchen. Markus kisses my cheek and hands me a cup of hot tea and my vitamins and Jace kisses my cheek and they send me out the door. 

"Have a good day" They shouts

I smile and take a cab to work. I get there before Axel so I take my vitamins and drink my tea. Axel walks in and freezes when he sees me. He walks in his office and closes his door. His coffee arrives and I walk in placing it on his desk and I grab the list he left for me and I walk out. I was then sitting in my office when a man similar to Axel walks in.

"Can I help you?" I ask

"I'm Austin. Is Axel in?" He asks

"Yeah just a minute." I tell him

I buzz Axel to let him know there was a man here wanting to talk to him. 

"Go on in" I tell him

He nods and winks at me. 

Axel's (pov)

Austin walks in and smirks. 

"Well that is a fine piece of ass out there" He says

I growl and he throws his hands up in surrender. 

"I see you haven't tapped that yet. Not giving you the time of day is she?" He asks

"No she isn't and I have to live with her" I groan

"Well little brother. I have a bet for you. I bet you can't get her to sleep with you in the next six months. If you do I will sign over my company to you and if you don't then you will sign yours over to me. Deal?" He asks

"Deal little brother. And let the games begin." I say

"Well I will see you later." He says and leaves

About ten minutes later Alexis steps in smiling. 

"What is with the grin?" I ask

"Oh nothing I just have a date" She says smiling

"What?" I ask

"Yeah Austin asked me out" She says still smiling

"Alexis listen to me. Austin isn't who you think he is. Stay away from him. You have been through enough. He is very abusive and has a bad temper. His last girlfriend ended up in the hospital and lost their baby" I tell him

She gasps and looks at me like I slapped her in the face. She starts panting and I rush over to her. And hold her face in my hands. 

"Lex baby breathe" I tell her

"I ca....nt" She pants

"Yes you can. Easy does it. Listen to my voice, In through your nose and out through your mouth. There you go." I tell her

She finally calms down and I sit her down on the couch just as my mom and dad walk in. 

"Oh my what happened?" My mom yells

"She had a panic attack. Austin was just hear and asked her out. So I told her about what happened. I didn't want the same thing to happen to her" I tell them

"He is right sweetie. Stay away from him. I love my son but he needs to get his head straight." My moms says

Lex nods and leans into my side and closes her eyes.

"Rest your eyes for a bit. I can manage without you." I tell her

She nods and relaxes some more. I look up to see my dad and mom looking at me with wide eyes.

"No way get those thoughts out of your heads now" I roar

Lex jumps and starts panicing again. 

"Shit sorry. Relax Alexis nothing is going to happen to you." I tell her

Dad brings her a glass of ice water and she takes it and my mom gives her a Xanax. She takes it and down its with the water. She closes her eyes and leans into me again. 

"We are going to go" My mom says and kisses my cheek and Alexis' forhead

"Let her rest a while yeah?" Dad says

I nod and he pats my back and they leave. Lex soon falls asleep and I lay her down and covering her with my suit jacker. There was a knock on my door and in walks the office slut. 

"What is she doing sleeping on the job?" She hisses

"Last time I checked i'm the boss not you. Now get out before I fire you ass" I hiss at her

She huffs and walks out slamming the door. Lex jumps up and looks around. 

"You ok?" I ask her

"Fine" She says

I nod and she looks down and gets up stumbling over to me and hands me my jacket. I she sways and grips the edge of my desk and leans on it holding her head.

"I feel funny." She mumbles

"Mom gave you a xanax to calm you down. But you should have ate first. I'll call and order something. Chinese ok with you?"  I ask her

She nods and walks over laying back down. She closes her eyes and I ring the chinese place and order for us. I look over to see her sleeping peacefully. There is knock on the door and the delivery man walks in with the food. I pay and he leaves. I stand over walk over to the couch and lean down and push her hair out of her face. God she is so beautiful. 

"Lex baby come on wake up" I tell her

"Whatttttt?" She whines

"Come eat baby" I tell her chuckling

"Don't wanna" She whines again

"Come on baby you have to eat" I say lifting her up

I walk over and sit down in my chair with her in my lap. i open the food containers and sit her up again. 

"I smell food" She mumbles

"Yes love you do" I chuckle

She moves a little to face the food and picks up a fork and starts eating some chicken and rice. After it was half gone she sat her fork down and sat back and snuggled into my chest and closed her eyes again. I went to stand and she whined again. How and the hell am I suppose to work like this? I thought to myself. Guess it's going to be another early day. I picked up the phone and buzzed Martha. She walked in a few minutes later and smiled.

"Martha as you can tell Alexis isn't feeling well. I'm going to take her home. So make sure the report for tomorrow is ready for me first thing in the morning. And if you hear any rumors stop them right away and send the to human resources. You know we have a no rumor policy." I tell her

"Very well sir. And take it easy with this one. I've had lunch with her a few times and I know her personally. Don't ask but I know what she has been through. Break her heart and I will tell you grandmother and mother" She says sternly

"Yes ma'am" I tell her

I lift up Lex with ease and grab my briefcase and hers with her things and carry her to the elevator with people staring at me. I make it to the lobby and George was waiting on us. I slide into the backseat with her still in my lap.

"Home sir?" He asks

"Yes please" I tell him

"Is Ms Alexis ok?" He asks

"She is fine just a panic attack so mom gave her a xanax" I tell him

"Ahh that will do it" He says and continues to drive us home

We pull into the driveway and George opens the door and I climb out with her. Nancy opens the front door and gasps. 

"Is she ok?" She asks in a motherly tone

"She is fine just tired. I'm going to put her in bed. Could you make some soup for dinner?" I ask

"Yes sir. Sir I over heard Ms. Alexis on the phone just keep and eye on her" She says and walks away 

I sigh and walk up to my room and place her on the bed and pull off her shoes and pants. I walk over and grab one of my t shirts and walk over to her. I pull off her shirt and replace it with mine. I lift her legs and pulls the covers out and cover her up. I push her hair out of her face and kiss her forehead and I walk down to my office. I work for three hours and then walk up to the bedroom to see Lex sitting up looking around and then down at herself.

"Lex how you feeling?" I ask

"I'm fine. When did I get here?" She asks

"I brought you here after you curled up in my lap and wouldn't let go of my shirt. So I left early and brought you home and changed up and you slept another three hours." I tell her smirking

"Oh ok." She says rubbing her head

"Come on let's get some food in your tummy and back to bed and we will watch any movie you want" I tell her

She nods and stands and follows me to the dining room. 

"Are you feeling better Alexis?" Nancy asks

"I'm fine Nancy. Still tired though" Lex tells her

"Well I made homemade chicken soup something easy  for your tummy" She says

"Thanks Nancy" Lex says

Nancy nods and serves us and then walks out. Alexis eats every bite of her soup and I smile and her but say nothing about it. I finish up mine and take our bowls to the kitchen. I walk back to the dining room to see Lex with her head on the table with her eyes closed. 

"Come on sleeping beauty let's get you back in bed" I say lifting her up

She groans and lays her head on my shoulder. I smile and kiss her forehead. I carry her back to the bed and lay her down and cover her up. I walk into the closet and pull off my suit and put on some sweats and walk out to the tv. 

"What movie you want to watch love?" I ask her

"Something scary" She mumbles

"What about Sinister?" I ask

"Sure" She says

I turn it on and walk over getting in beside her. She slides down and pulls her pillow to the side so she can cuddle into it. I sigh and look at her. 

"Come one" I tell her

She looks at me with that what the fuck look. I open my arms and she just stares at me but then scoots over and lays her head on my chest and sighs wrapping a arm around my lower stomach. The movie starts and she jumps a few times causing me to chuckle at her. After the movie finishes I look down to see her fast asleep. I scoot down without waking her and fall into a deep sleep. As i can remember we were both sleeping great til we heard squealing. 

"What the fuck?" I groan

"Oh my god she let you sleep in the same bed with her." Jace squeals

"Shh before you wake her" I snap

He shuts up and looks at me with wide eyes. I get out of bed without waking her. We walk down to the kitchen and I start the coffee and tea for her. 

"Now what are you going on about?" I ask him

"She actually let you sleep next to her. And she was cuddled into you" He says smiling

"Yeah so? She slept in the same bed with me last night to" I tell him

His eyes bug out and he sits down.

"Look It's her place to tell you but she has only slept in the bed with me and Markus for almost two years now. She freaks out if any other male touches her. I'm sure you know a little about that. But let me tell you this if she comes crying to me one time cause you hurt her in any way I will personally go to jail for murder. I will make sure your six feet under ground before I spend my life behind bars." He hisses at me

"Look at first I thought she was going to throw herself at me like my last assistants did but she didn't. There is something different about that pain in the ass woman and I want to get to know her. I'm not saying we will end up together but I do like her." I tell him

"Then this is where my advice comes in handy. Pink roses, Hershey's and white wine. She loves movies and theme parks. She has never been out of the state for reasons. She wants to travel. Barcelona is her number one travel spot right now. She loves animals. She wants a husky puppy but only a black and white one or grey and white. She wants a girl. She loves shopping when she has the extra money. Do not bring up her parents or exes unless she does. She loves going dancing and singing. Never let her have a energy drink cause she will be bouncing off the walls for hours. She hates coffee, liars, cheaters, and hospitals. Her favorite food is Italian. She isn't big on sweets but she will eat her chocolate. You have to make sure she eats something every two hours while she is awake. as you can tell she doesn't eat alot for reasons she will tell you. Now i'm done and going home to my man" He says standing up

"Thanks Jace." I tell him

He turns around and stops dead in his tracks to see a teary eyes Alexis staring at him. He steps toward her and she steps back. He tries again and she slaps him. 

"Get out" She hisses at him

"Lex calm down. He was only helping. I just wanted to know you more. Yes I should have asked you but he didn't tell me anything I wouldn't have asked you." I tell her

She sighs and looks at a teary eyed Jace. She walks over and hugs and him and he sniffles.

"I'm sorry" He whispers

"It's not your fault. He should have just asked me. But if you open your mouth again you may get a fist in it. Do you understand me?" she says

"Yes ma'am." he says smiling

"Now go home to my other lover and give him my love" She says grinning

Jace pecks her lips and runs out the door. She turns towards me and I tense and the next thing I know she was wrapping her arms around my neck. She gets on her tippy toes and I lean own just as our lips are about to connect she pulls away and walks around me. I stand there stunned and looked at her fixing her tea.

"Nice try buddy. You in the dog house til I feel like I can talk to you again" She says walking past me

Her hips sway and I feel myself grow hard. I swear this woman will be the death of me.
