Walking into the house, I called out to see if mum and dad were home yet. Mum called back that she was in the kitchen, and I headed over. I asked where dad was and she said he was still at work. Good, it meant I could share the good news with her. 

‘I thought you were staying at the other house tonight?’ I smiled and put the shopping bag down on the side. 

‘I am, but I forgot to pack some clothes that actually fit’. She chuckled. ‘I have something to show you!’. I told her, unable to hide my excitement. She stopped what she was doing and turned to look at me, waiting. I opened the bag and pulled out the little blue sailing boat onesie and she gasped, covering her mouth.
