Chapter Twenty Three
Georgie’s Point of View
I slept like absolute shit last night, and then when I did eventually manage to sleep, I had the worst nightmares… waking up, the first thing I did was check Toby’s phone and sure enough, there was a new message from the little harlot.
Can’t wait to see you later for lunch! 12 o'clock
Chapter Twenty Four Violet’s Point of View The three dogs had me backed into a corner, I put my hand out, trying to show I wasn’t a threat to them. I’d never hurt an animal, never in a million years. Where was Toby?! He said he would be here! Just as the dog in the middle moved to make its attack, Toby came out of nowhere and kicked it square in the face. It let out a loud upsetting yelp and moved away from me. The other two went over, almost as if to check it was OK, like they knew what had happened. I moved quickly, I tucked myself behind Toby, clutching onto his arm, terrified. As soon as the big, white dog got back to its feet and stalked forward again. ‘Don’t hurt them!’ I couldn’t bear to see any animal bei

I thought he was joking or even if he wasn’t, I really thought that he would message me at some point and explain or apologize... Something! But.. it's just been complete silence from him and I didn’t know what to do.Scrolling through my phone, I looked over all the messages I had sent him. Almost ins
Chapter Twenty SixA Few Weeks LaterMy alarm going off cut through my dreams and woke me up. I just groaned and leaned over to grab my phone, turning it off before rolling over again and pulling the covers over my head. Today was going to be busy. It was the first day of school tomorrow, and I was dreading it. All the questions and conversations about how amazing summer was… or worst still, MY summer. Everyone knew I was going away for pretty much the whole of the holidays and I’d already had multiple texts about how they ‘’couldn’t wait to hear all about it’’. I had decided to keep that summer and its events... With Jason and Toby to myself.I stayed under the covers for a little while longer before I forced myself to get up. I had a long day planned. I had Th
Chapter Twenty Seven I was up bright and early the next day which wasn’t like me at all but the nightmares I’d been having all night helped with getting up because I hardly slept. I decided to go and have a shower, maybe it would calm me down and allow me to chill out a bit. Getting out of the shower again, I saw that my phone was flashing. I had a few missed calls and a text message from Thomas asking if I needed a lift to school tomorrow. I text back saying no thanks, my mum was taking me and that I’d see him and the others then. I did end up deciding to wear my jeans and a nice top and got dressed before heading downstairs. I could hear chatter coming from the kitchen, but I certainly wasn’t prepared for what I was about to see…
Chapter Twenty EightI met Toby in town at the coffee shop. It was late, and the sun was already setting. He suggested grabbing something to drink and then going for a little walk. It seemed like a nice sweet idea.We headed to the Park, and as the sun set completely, and the moon was nice and bright, Toby pulled me in for a passionate and loving kiss.I had to pull away before we got too carried away and I couldn’t help but smile. I smiled everytime I looked at him. He just made me so incredibly happy.‘So, what is this thing I need to see?’ I was DYING to know what this secret of his was. He was so cryptic earlier about it and I just couldn’t forget about it all day. What was so serious that he needed to SHOW me and could
Chapter Twenty Nine I spent most of the night tossing and turning, I just couldn’t switch off. It was like my mind was so into overdrive, I didn’t know how to process what I saw or how to think rationally about it. When I did manage to get some sleep, I had nightmares. Nightmares unsurprisingly about wolves and Jason and Toby turning into a monster and ripping me apart. Reliving all the horrible memories that I wished I could just forget. I was scared. I was really genuinely scared. AND CONFUSED! I was completely disgusted with myself, I mean… He was a ‘’wolf’’. He was basically a fucking animal! It was weird and twisted and It was just making everything harder to process. I felt so stupid, I remembered the comments the guys made abou
Note: Chapter 29 will be posted when it's been approved by my editor :) I noticed some people asking when previous chapters will be up that were waiting for approval. ALL chapters except 29 as of now (14th March) are posted. Thanks, guys! :)---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Chapter ThirtyNo, I wasn't having this. I quickly finished my breakfast and grabbed my bag. Completely ignoring Toby and my parents.‘It's fine, I’ll walk’. I wouldn’t. I’d text Thomas and ask him for a lift. I was on his way anyway, and school wasn’t walking distance, but at this rate, I WOULD rather walk than him giving me a lift. What was he going to do? Shift into a dog and l
Chapter Thirty OneAs soon as Toby pulled into the School parking lot and found a space, I jumped out of the car and hurried off. The parking lot was around the back, and while teachers had their own area, a lot of the students drove. I was able to rush off into the crowd and found comfort in the fact Toby wouldn’t be able to follow me. He hadn’t even had a chance to turn the engine off before I was gone.I only stopped to catch my breath when I made it to the front entrance. I went in before Toby had a chance to catch up.Walking through the crowd of students all rushing to find their lockers or friend groups, I got little snippets of other people's conversations. Becca Sanders’ brother died in a car crash over the summer, something I had heard about on the news alr
