Lucian had always been a protective mate, and I couldn't blame him for worrying about our unborn child. I paused in my gardening, turning to face him. "Lucian, you know I find peace in this garden. It helps me relax and feel closer to nature. Besides, tending to these plants is a way for me to connect with our child. I can feel their presence in every bloom and every leaf."
