Chapter 53: Vincent never ceases to amaze me.

Anna's pov

Good thing that my father wasn't around. It was my mum. She was cool to a level.

I walked closer to the door.

" I thought you said you would tell me where we would meet later." I said to Vincent.

"Anna, stop being unfriendly to guests." Mum shushed me as she told Vincent to come in.

I moved aside as Mum let Vincent in.

Vincent thanked her and sat down on the couch in the living room with Daniel who was staring at him as if he had grown another head.

Vincent greeted Daniel and he muttered a response.

I guess he wasn't expecting that to happen.

Mom asked Vincent if she could get him anything and he told her no, that he just came to see me and that another day he would accept the offer.
