FATE 

I groaned opening my eyes , and looking around, everywhere just looked strange " where am I ? " I turned around and tried standing up ,but I couldn't " ouch "I winced in pain looking at my bruised leg . 

Stretching my hands ,I grabbed a leaf and immediately used it to cover up my wound " mother mustn't"find out about this else I'll be punished.

I tried lifting myself up.again ,but I just couldn't. And like flash, someone sped past me ,my heart leaped a bit " who's there ?" I asked with my shaky tiny voice . And again, he sped past me " I said who's there"I asked this time I was able to lift myself up ,but I fell down as my shaky legs disappointed me . Tears had started rolling down my eyes.

I could recall what my great-grandmother told me about the blood pack , they mostly feed on the blood of other wolves and humans too . I looked around me , even if it isn't one of them , what If it's a rouge or maybe an enemy . Being the strongest after the blood pack ,we had so many enemies. Finally I summoned up just about the right amount of courage I needed at that moment and lifted myself up .

" Arabella , Arabella"jack kept on screaming, fear building up in his eyes as he sped through the bushes ,unable to find her ,and began running towards the direction of their territory.

" Mother ,mother , it's Arabella, I can't find her anywhere "he screamed immediately he found his mother.

" What , what are you saying jack ,where is Arabella and where are you coming from ,tell me " and as he explained everything to her , they both took to their heels heading towards the home of her great-grandmother.

" Mother "as everyone calls her , she immediately went on her knees " it's Arabella, she's missing, deep into the forest ". Like a big rock was being dropped on her heart . The great white wolf stood up immediately " what did you just say ? Where is my child ? ".

Finally, I thanked my two.legs a little as I began leaping little by little trying to escape and find my way back , but just then I felt his presence again I feel down in fear and this time knelt down " pls , I'm sorry if I actually trespassed, forgive me ,I just want to find my way back home "saying this ,I closed my eyes and surprisingly as I spranged them open , a young handsome,no cute boy about my age knelt in front of me . Immediately our eyes met , I landed on my butt and groaned in pain while he chuckled " wait , did he just find this amusing? ".

My cheeks immediately turned red , forgetting I was actually in danger ,I couldn't even feel the pain of my bruise anymore. I just felt attracted and attached to him , but it's not possible I cant find my mate yet ,not at this stage ,it's still.too early for me , maybe he isn't the one . But my heart kept on saying otherwise. I was later able to discard.the thought as I recalled one of my mother's words " the white crystal goddess only blesses our people with mate's within our pack , no one has even been blessed with a mate outside our pack ,not even for once".

" Who are you ? "I finally asked coming out from my trance and stopped drooling over him.

Instead of an answer , he lifted his hands and bit himself which made.me shocked , I tried moving away from him ,but he held my legs . I couldn't move , just how strong is he ? " What are you trying to do ? "I asked him feeling scared " heal your wounds you moron "he replied back and just like that ,his voice rang like Melody to my ears and i became lost looking at him.

He spilled his blood on my wound and with great shock ,my wound healed up " what the......, seriously? "I asked myself with the greatest shock of my life " how did you do that ? ". 

He gave me a shocked look" it's simple, my blood contains healing power , I'm Damon ,from the blood pack ".

" What...... Blood pack ? Did I just hear correctly? "With so much fear, I stood up and began running for my dear life ,no I wasn't prepared to die ,or have my blood sucked dry yet . He just stayed still looking at me as I ran and luckily I felt happy he wasn't coming after me " no wonder he's so fast " I looked back to check if he was still there ,but no ,he wasn't as I turned to continue running I forcefully bumped on him which made me crash-land on the floor immediately " what do you want from me ? "I asked him " I don't have any blood to spare ,so pls , get away from me ? "I screamed in fear .

I could see the shocked look on his face " I saved you from danger ,and is this how to thank your saviour? If I wanted to have your blood ,I would have done so the moment I met you lying on the floor unconscious where some wild pack might find you and kill you instead " he held my wrist tight which made me feel pain.

" You're hurting me "I winced.

Our eyes met ,and again I felt that same connection I had felt earlier" yeah right , everyone thinks we're evil , but we're not "he said in a very low tone which I hardly heard.

" Take the left turn , and make sure you climb the tallest tree there for safety, make a right turn and also climb any tree there ,from afar you'll see your pack , that's the only way you'll be free and safe from rogues and other dangerous pack "he said to me.

My eyes beamed in suprise " he wasn't going to have my blood ? Really? But my great-grandmother had told.me to run and hide if I ever come across one of them ".

He released my hands and all of a sudden I just felt guilty inside me . I was about thanking him and apologizing when he just sped away with anger which I could feel just with the force he used in running and the wind that blew while he sped past me 

" Thank you "I said even if.he wasn't there and began finding my way back home , but wait should I believe him and take the path he ordered me to take ?
