''You don't love me but you don't want to let me go" On the day of the senior Mr. Williams's funeral, the Williams family opposed Stanley Williams's choice to marry his beloved woman with the excuse that he was betrothed to Kimberly Parker since birth. Stanley didn't like her; he hated her, but he had no choice but to accept her because his inheritance depends on his marriage with Kimberly. He planned to divorce her immediately after he gets his inheritance and finally marry his beloved woman. Kimberly, an 18-year-old college student was terrified when she found out she was already betrothed to the billionaire's son but she had no choice but to accept her fate Not long after they moved in together, Stanley continued his relationship with his beloved woman saying he can't be forced to marry a teenager. Kimberly at first thought it was fine since she didn't love her husband so he could go ahead and have an affair with any woman but gradually she felt the pain and couldn't take it. She presented him with a divorce agreement, Stanley felt excited by Kimberly's abrupt decision, but he chose to hold her back and not let her go, leaving Kimberly confused and frustrated. Now, Kimberly is trapped between the consequences of Stanley's indecision. Would she be able to break free from him? Would Stanley eventually come to his senses and face his true feelings? And what happens when Kimberly finds out that she wasn't betrothed to Stanley, it was something worse?

I checked the time again and sighed. It had been thirty minutes since I flew in, and the driver is still not there. My girlfriend Jennet Cruise stood beside me with an impatient look.
'He will be here soon' I said again for the fiftieth time and she rolled her eyes.
Jennet was a stunning model and we have been dating for like 2 years. I plan on introducing her to my parents after grandpa's funeral.
Finally, I saw the car park just in front of us 'It was high time you came' I sneered and he stared at me with an apologetic look before picking up our luggage.
On our way back home, I held Jennet's hands and her fingers had a huge diamond ring that I had used to propose to her.
'Will your parents be okay with our wedding?' she asked nervously and I smiled at her, of course, they would have no objection.
'Trust me' I said and she nodded.
Before long, we arrived at the mansion and there was a crowd, they must all be here to say their final words to grandpa.
I walked down the car together with Jennet when my sister Kyle walked towards me 'So kind of you to show up on the day of the funeral' she said angrily and I rolled my eyes.
'I am glad to see you as well'. With that said, I walked to the garden with Jennet where I found my parents and also grandpa's lifeless body in the expensive casquet.
'Stanley' mom walked towards me and gave me a warm hug, I had missed this a lot.
'Isn't that Stanley, I can't remember the last time I saw him' I heard a lady whisper to her friend and I pretended not to listen.
'Mom this is Jennet Cruise, she is my fiancee' I said and saw her expression change, she looked away like she was keeping something from me.
'Hi, Mrs. Williams, it is my pleasure meeting you' As Jennet spoke she straightened her hands forward for a handshake and mom stared at me shocked.
Looking embarrassed I retracted Jennet's hands, an elder is supposed to extend a hand first but Jennet isn't that well brought up.
'Come let's see grandpa' I walked towards grandpa's coffin and saw he was dressed in a white suit. I will miss him a lot, although he was rude and authoritative he always had my back.
'Your mom doesn't seem to like me' Jennet whispered, I stared at mom and she was having a chat with a slim lady.
'She is just aloof' I said and we both walked towards my dad, he was having a drink alone. He must miss his dad already.
'Dad' I called out and his gaze was focused on Jennet.
'Dad meet Jennet Cruise, my fiancee' I introduced and he gave me the same look mom did, what's going on here? I knew they were hiding something from me.
'Son there is something you need to know, your grandpa's will' he said and I was confused, they already read the old man's will.
Later in the evening with all the guests gone, my family assembled in the sitting room when a slim lady walked in, she is the lady mom was discussing with earlier.
'Let Jennet leave for a bit' Mom said and I frowned, they allowed that lady to join in so why should my fiancee leave?
Jennet turned to leave when I held her hands 'Why should she leave? That lady isn't family but she is here' I scoffed and I saw the lady roll her eyes.
'Let it be, she can stay' Dad spoke in his usual monotone.
'Grandpa's lawyer brought in an agreement made between him and the Parker family' he explained and I was curious, what was the agreement.
'Okay, what's the agreement?' I asked and dad placed a letter on the table. I swallowed and schooled my features to neutrality before reading the letter.
While reading I could feel my body shiver in pain, my palms became sweaty. It was a marriage agreement between me and the young miss of the Parker family, I felt like a thousand needles were pricking my heart.
'This is a joke' I scolded as I tore the letter into pieces.
'Tearing the letter won't change the fact that you are already betrothed to Kimberly' Kyle said in a mocking tone and Jennet stared at me confused.
'Jennet trust me, okay, this is just bullshit'
'Son I am sorry that you came back to this, I just never knew you had a fiancee already' As mom spoke she approached the lady who had been standing there, she was about the same age as Kyle and of course without any doubt she must be Kimberly.
They expect me to marry a kid? I mean she looked just too innocent.
'Kimberly here was just as shocked as you, but she had no choice
'You expect me to marry a kid? And an ugly one for that matter' I blurted out and saw her clench my fist angrily.
Why did my grandpa have to marry me off when I was just a baby, now my life has taken a turn.
'I think I should leave' She said to mom and turned to leave when I scolded her.
'You better not come back, your family must be made of money hunters'
'Watch your tongue Mr. Williams' She scolded back and I gritted my teeth angrily when and pointed at her.
'Don't you dare talk to me in that tone' My face portrayed a lot of anger and hatred, she shivered and ran out of the mansion then I heard her car drive away.
'Stanley, how dare you talk to your wife in that tone?' Dad scolded me and I felt irritated.
'I made a mistake coming back to the country, Jennet let's leave' I held Jennet's hands and we both walked towards the door.
'If you leave today then forget about your inheritance' I heard my dad say from behind and I was shocked.
All my life I partied and had fun with my friends without working because I knew I had a fat bank account just begging for me to use it and now he wants to cut me off my inheritance.
'Stan let's talk privately' Jennet whispered to me.
'Don't leave' she added again and I turned towards my parents.
I ignored them and walked upstairs with Jennet, we walked to my bedroom as she closed the doors.
'Stan you can't leave, you can't leave your inheritance' she said desperately and I sighed out confused.
'But if I stay then I will have to accept my marriage with that girl and I don't want to
'All these while you have been saying I should trust you, now I want you to trust me' Jennet held my hands tightly and stared into my eyes.
'It doesn't matter who you marry first, what matters is that we will always be together' she kept assuring me and I presumed she was looking out for my future.
'Jennet I love you, how do you expect me to be with someone else? I will look for a job and we will still be together, to hell with the inheritance'
I could not help but pull my hair frustrated, why will my grandpa do this to me? Jennet walked closer to me and said calmly.
'Listen to me Stan, it is just a charade and after you get your inheritance then we will just throw her out
I was surprised by the words Jennet kept spouting out, now I had doubts if she loved me. We have been together for close to two years and she does just give me away without a blink, but I will do anything she asks of me because that's how much I love her.
'Is this really what you want ?'
'It's what's good for us, we will always be together' I hugged her tightly and didn't want to let go, I already planned my future with Jennet in the picture and just can't imagine it without her.
'I will stay at a hotel for now'
I nodded and helped pull her suitcase out of the room.
As we walked downstairs, Kyle stared at us with a mocking smirk on her face.
'You just gave up this easily? I thought I'd see a live session of Romeo and Juliet. She shook her head with a smile and I gave her a hard glare.
'Sir, I don't want to be the reason your family will break, so I will leave' tears rolled down Jennet's cheeks as she said to dad.
Mom walked towards her and hugged her 'I understand the situation you are in and I appreciate the fact that you care about bonds' Jennet stared at me one more time before leaving in tears.
'Such great parents' I scoffed and walked upstairs when dad yelled out.
'Dinner tomorrow at the Parker's, don't be late'
So irritating, I wonder what other surprises await me in this country.
After the reception, Stanley was happy about taking Kimberly away for their wedding night, so when they both go into his car and were about to leave.Bradly ran towards them and kept knocking on the car door 'Mother' he called out and everyone got surprised.Kimberly unlocked the door and stared at the kid who climbed in and sat on her thighs.'What are you doing?' Stanley frowned at him.'Are we not supposed to go together as a family' he asked and Kimberly chuckled. Maybe she could tease Stanley with this.'That's right, we will all have a lovely evening…just the three of us' she replied and Bradly was excited.'Or…or you could go play with your friend Lily' Stanley pointed outside at the little girl who had a sad look when she saw Brad was about to leave.'She will be going back tomorrow and you won't be able to see her again' Stanley tried convincing him.'We could always go to visit them' Kimberly added and Stanley glared at her suspiciously.'What are you up to?' he asked and sh

We need to find a specialist who can handle this.’‘I'll help you find the best specialist,’ Mrs. Williams said, taking charge of the situation. ‘We'll do whatever it takes to make sure Stanley gets the best treatment.’The family rallied around Stanley, giving him the support he needed. They spent the rest of the meal discussing different treatment options and making plans to find the best specialist. After dinner, they all went back to the Williams' family home. Kimberly went to bed early, exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster of the day.
