Chapter 4

LUKAS 

I left the class to my office and I couldn't stop thinking about my mate 

“ My mate is very beautiful and charming. I can't resist her beauty, I want to grab her and make her mine this instant.” I thought about her all day till the extent I couldn't think straight. 

I have been waiting for a mate for 10 years and I finally met her. 

The next morning, I went to my office to start my normal routine. 

i was lost in thought that I didn't know someone has entered my office 

“ Alpha!.Alpha!” I snapped out of my thought and looked up to see who it was. My beta. 

“ I am sorry for disturbing you, there is information I need to pass and it is very urgent.” He said 

“ What is it” i replied 

“ A letter came from the council and it said, All alpha are to attend the meeting. It is very urgent” he said, he handed me the letter. Peter was about to leave when he turned back to me and said 

“ Alpha what were you thinking about when I came in. I saw that you were lost in thought” 

“ Well I have seen my mate” Peter was excited 

“ Thanks to the moon goddess. I know how long you have been waiting for your mate. Finally we have a Luna” I looked at him and said 

“ But she is a human” Peter's excitement dropped because no werewolf is allowed to take any human as mate. It is an abomination. 

“ Alpha what are you going to do” he said and I just look at him without saying anything 

“ What can I do? She is my mate and am going to claim her as my mate” he was shocked at my answered 

“ The council will not spare you. They will dethrone you from being an alpha” Peter said. I thought for a while 

“ I don't care what the council will do. She is my mate and you know how long I have been longing for my mate. Now that she is here, I will not let her go. If the council members are not satisfied with it. It's their problem not mine.” Peter was shocked at his response 

“ Good luck with that. I will be going out now.” Peter was about to leave when the i called his name 

“ Peter, find out everything about her. Jessica Brown and I want all her information in less than 24 hours”. I order 

“ Yes Alpha “ Peter bow and left the office 

I needed to clear my head, so I decided to go for a drink. 

I entered the club and people's eyes turned to me, especially the ladies which I am used to already. Many ladies have been dying to have me but I refused. I had been waiting for my mate and didn't give any ladies a chance. 

I ignored everyone's stares and walked towards the bartender. I sat down and asked for a drink. As I was drinking, I saw a beautiful damsel giggling with her friend and I looked closer and it was my mate. 

My wolf Asher was urging me to move closer to her. My wolf has always wanted to claim his mate right from the moment we saw her. I have been keeping him on check because Asher can be possessive and violent at the same time 

I decided to give in to my wolf and walk towards our mate. 

I stood in front of them and gave them a stern look. My mate and her friend looked at me in fear 

“ What are you underage doing in a bar like this” i felt the trembled at my voice because it was my wolf talking 

“ We came out to have some fun since it is weekend” Mel replied with a shaking voice 

I reached out to my mate's wrist with possession that left no doubt. Electricity snapped between our skin. The bond roared. She tried to pull back because she felt it also, but my wolf surged.

Take her 

He didn’t ask. He didn’t negotiate. Alphas didn’t. I swept her away from the floor, ignoring her friend’ protest and the startled shouts. The bouncers didn’t interfere because they know what I can actually do 

Outside, the night was cold. My car black, tinted, powerful engine is still hoy 

She turned to me, eyes wide. “You can’t just —-”

I stepped close, scent marking the air, voice rough like gravel.

“You are my mate and am taking you to my pack.”

“ This isn't right, you are kidnapping me and it is a crime “ I just laughed I dragged to where my car is

When she tried to make another argument, the bond stole her breath. She wasn't afraid, just overwhelmed, as if the universe itself had just rewritten her life.

I opened the car door.

“Get in,” I commanded.

I can sense her confusion, curiosity, and something darker.

She got in.

I closed the door behind her, the wolf inside me finally settling. Even if she didn’t know it yet, the moment I scented her, she became mine and the world would soon learn it.

When we arrived at the pack, I saw everyone staring at her. I communicated with them through the mind link. 

“ This is your Luna, and anyone who disrespects her is disrespecting me. There is a penalty concerning that” They bow their heads and walk away.

“ What was that?” She asked as we were walking to my house 

“ Mind link. It is used to communicate with ourselves and sense dangers. It is common with all Alphas and their pack members. The strongest and most intimate mind link is the mate link.” I explained to her 

“ The mate mind link, how does it work?” She asked with curiosity.

“ A mate link can be initiated when the female werewolf is marked by her mate. Their bond will be strong so that they can sense each other's pain, fears and emotions.” 

“ Can a mate link be broken” she asked 

“ Yes but breaking a mate link can cause severe pain and madness.” She smiled as if she was plotting something. 

We reach my house and I took her my room 

“ You can take a shower” I said 

“ I want to go home, I can't stay here.” She tried to walk towards the door. I sneered at her and dragged her to the bed. I leaned close to her and she tried to move her body. I could feel her breath and the tightness of her heart. She tried to push me but I was too strong for her. 

“ You are mine and mine alone. You are not allowed to leave this pack without my permission.” My possessiveness took over, I wanted to mark her and make her mine. 

Mark her 

I resisted my wolf, stood up and left to take a shower in the next room. 

JESSICA 

After he left, I breathed a sign of relief.

“ Though I was kidnapped by him, my plan for revenge has just begun” she thought in her head.

I went to take a shower and rest for the night. 

“ Tomorrow will be a good day” I said 

Next morning 

I heard a knock on the door, I opened my eyes and asked 

“ Who is there?” I heard a soft voice behind the door. 

“ Luna, breakfast is ready. The alpha said I should call you.” 

I got up and opened the door. I saw a beautiful young woman who is a little bit older than me 

“ I will be right there and pls don't call me Luna. My name is Melissa but you can call me Mel.” She just nodded her head and left. I forgot to ask for her name. 

I quickly rush to take my shower and prepare for breakfast. 

I got downstairs, I saw Lukas waiting for me and the lady from earlier standing by the table side. 

I walked towards the table and Lukas got up and pulled out the chair for me to sit. 

“ Excuse us Mary “ Mary left and looked him 

“ I want to go home, my uncle will be looking for me “ his expression change immediately 

“ You are not going anywhere and if you want to go out. Either I accompany you or my warriors do.” I'm furious 

“ What is the meaning of this? You took me to this place without my permission and now you want to restrict my movement. Alpha or whatever you are called, it can't happen” He stood up and threw the plate of food to the ground and lunch towards me. He began strangling me, I couldn't breathe 

“ How dare you talk to me like that. Am the alpha and you have to respect me.” I tried to push him but he was too strong. 

I began to lose consciousness 

“ Alpha, alpha. She is your mate “ someone shouted behind me.
