Spark

I open my eyes and saw that I was on the bed 

“ What happened to me?” I tried to recall. 

That big ass alpha tried to kill me. I think he is bipolar and insane. 

I heard a knock, i shivered a little until i heard the voice 

“ Mel it’s me, open the door” I quickly open the door and hug her.

“ What are you doing here? “ I asked while I pulled her to sit with me on the bed.

“ I told you am a werewolf and the beta is my mate, so that makes me a member of the pack” i nodded and i hugged her again 

“ I heard what happened between you and the Alpha. Mel the Alpha is a nice person” she said.

“ Indeed he is nice, when he almost killed me today. You called that nice. I move away from her and she stood up, come closer to me 

“ yea am serious he is a nice person. He is an alpha and most alphas don't like people going against them. So they tend to be aggressive, if anyone is against them. It is their nature.” She pulled me to sit back on the bed and continued 

“Anyways , the reason I am here is for you to dress up. We are going to school.” I was astonished at her statement..

“ Are you for real? I thought I was not allowed to step out. How come?” I said happily 

“ Alpha didn't restrict your movement. He has his reason for not allowing you to go to your uncle's place.” I sign and I went to prepare for school 

“ You have to hurry up, we are having the alpha first and you know his principle. Even if you are his mate, his principle doesn't elude you!. She shouted from outside the bathroom. 

“ I know already, I will be through in 5 min. I said as I rushed to prepare for school. 

We left the Lukas home, it was then I realized that the school actually belongs to the pack. A lot of things are beginning to come to my knowledge.

Most students in our school are werewolves and few are humans. It was then I realized there is a human world and a werewolf world. There are also rules guiding the werewolf and the humans. 

We hurriedly got to the lecture room hoping the Alpha hadn't arrived. Thanks to the moon goddess we were lucky when we went there he didn't come. We went to take our seats. 

I was just about to bring out my books when the whole class went silent and I knew who it was. 

I looked up and I couldn't help myself to admire the beautiful being in front of the hall. 

Our eyes met and I could feel the spark. 

He coughed which brought me back to reality and I decided to face my book. 

He started his lectures and it lasted for 1 hour .

“ That will be all for today” he packed his book to leave 

Jess turned to me 

“ Babe, I saw the way you were staring at the alpha. Do you love him” she asked 

I frown at her and asked 

“ Can one love his enemy, especially the one who killed my dad and kidnapped me. Pls don't ask me that question” I hissed and I started packing my things to leave 

“ Don't be annoyed, I am just asking and he is your mate. Can't you feel the spark between you two.” I sigh 

“ I do feel the spark but I can't be a mate to my dad murderer” she shake her head and hold my shoulder 

“ The alpha didn't kill your dad, there is more to this. You can ask the alpha. Alpha is protecting you and when the time comes you will know. Pls don't reject the bond, it can be more painful to the alpha”. She said sadly and I couldn't resist nodding my head in affirmation. 

We were just waiting for another class when the class monitor announce 

“ Melissa, Mr Lukas need your attention in his office, go with your books” I looked at Jessica, she just smile, I frown 

I took my book and moved to Lukas' office. On reaching there I feel something going on in my body. I opened the door and I saw him sitting on his seat 

“ Shut the door behind you” I did so, as I turned he was beside me so that I couldn't escape. 

“ How are you feeling? “ He said looking at my neck

“ Am fine, at least I didn't die in your hands” I frown 

“ I'm sorry for what happened this morning, I couldn't control myself.” I was shocked because Jess told me that Alpha doesn't apologize to anyone. 

He came closer to me and I hit my back to the door. He put his hands in my neck 

“ I promise, it will never happen again” his face was getting closer and closer until there wasn't space between us. I couldn't resist the urge to kiss him.

He brought his lip to my lip 

We kissed
