Lucian's POV.

“WHAT’S GOING ON HERE?” I questioned with a big frown on my face. The tension was too much.

I had just alighted my car when I heard the Ruckus coming from the Pack house. I thought someone was hurt, but by the time I got there, my mouth hung in disbelief.

“Everyone leave.” I paused, but when I saw Mary about to join the crowd, I stopped her.

“Expect the three of you.”

Mary stopped in her tracks, and she smiled. However, I couldn't help, but notice that Mia fumed mercilessly.

Her hands were fisted, and she hated Mary like she was about to tear her into bits.

The girl I had helped seemed to be even more scared. She inched close to Mary, and didn't want to let her go.

“What is the meaning of what I have just witnessed?” I asked again, but Mia rolled her eyes, and walked away.

“Mia!” I called, my patience running out, but she didn't even spare me a glance.

I turned to Mary, whose head was lowered, and the scared girl who stole a glance before lowering her head again.
