Lukas sounded disappointed, “Giselle, you don’t like it?”

“No! How am I supposed to like it?” Giselle frustratingly exclaimed, “Taking Edsel’s life is one thing. But taking over the pack is another. Who said I wanted to take the pack? I have made it clear that I don’t want it! What’s part of it you don’t understand?”

Facing the fuming Luna’s angry words, Lukas did not say anything for a good minute. The head alpha of the Ashes pack stayed quiet. He had a prediction that Giselle would be angry.
