Marcus sighed. His shoulders dropped.
More than two weeks had passed since the rogue and two of his teammates trespassed the Bailey’s pack territory. Although they caused no threats to the Bailey’s pack, their actions must have served a defined goal.
Marcus did not believe that they aimed for Giselle just to provoke the fight between the Brownson and the Bailey's. There might be more. Like, they hid their scents for a reason. The rogue they had captured got no scent gland, and it made Marcus think the rogue’s teammates might have removed their scent gland, too.
They even got that far. There must have been something more serious than just provoking a fight.
