Time (Around 12pm getting to 1pm)

Passing by, Tristan heard sniffs, and he could smell something.

Wait!

He thought, take steps back and made a stop in front of Alan's room.

Sadness.

Anger.

Pain.

Tristan could smell all these and he could smell Alan.

They were all coming from his scent.

What...... What was happening to his baby?!

Worried, Tristan knocked on the door,

"Alan, baby, open it. I know you're in there" he said, devastated, anxious.

"Alan, please" he pleaded when his son did not reply.

"Alan" he called out his name again, desperate.

Impatient, Tristan decided to go in.

Lucky, the door wasn't locked or else, he would have broken it down.

Yes, he was that desperate.

Getting into the room, Tristan found Alan, laying on the bed, covered with the blanket.

Tristan could smell how sad he was.

He was hurting.

Why?

What happened?

And why was he alone?

Where was that stupid dog?!

Never around when needed!

Maybe he should get rid of that stupid dog!

"Alan, baby, what's wrong?" Tristan said, getting close.

No response, he got on the bed, hugging Alan from behind.

Gosh!

What was wrong?

Tristan was so worried.

Concern.

It broke his heart seeing his son like this.

"Baby, say something" he said, desperate, feeling defeated.

Suddenly, Alan, broke down, crying out loud as he turned to hug Tristan. Immediately, Tristan held him tight, gently caressing his back as he comforted him.

"Is okay baby. Is okay" he said, feeling useless as his son cried out his heart in his arm.

'What happened? Why's he so sad?' His wolf and he did not answer.

Tristan had no answer to his question.

"Baby, tell me what's wrong" he begged.

"I.....I....I miss my mom. I know.....I know she was evil but I still miss her. I wish she was here. I wish she did not die. Even though she didn't like me or love me....I still wish she was here. I wish we had more time together even if she was pretending" Alan said through tears and Tristan felt worst.

It was all his fault.

It was his fault Alan was in this state.

If only he did not kill Mavis, then this wouldn't have happened.

"I'm sorry Alan" Tristan said, feeling guilty.

"I'm sorry" he (Tristan) apologized again, hugging Alan tighter as he (Alan) cried in his arms.

Entering the kitchen, Sandy found Minna there.

And she was alone.

She sat on one of the kitchen stools, lost in thought, smiling.

A glass of water before her.

"Pretending to have a wolf again?" Sandy asked, smiling as she took a seat on one of the kitchen stools, beside Minna.

Coming out of her thoughts, Miina smiled, replying, "Yeah"

Having no wolf was no fun.

And so, sometimes, she'll pretend to have a wolf in her.

Asking questions and speaking out her (Her illusion wolf) mind.

Made her feel happy.

Like she wasn't alone.

"Where's Debby?" Sandy asked.

"Probably spending time with her children. Oh, and.....James arriving today" Minna said.

James escort Rex back to his parents and was finally arriving today.

Well,........there went their peace of mind.

The boss of hell was coming back.

"I know what you're thinking. Don't let him (James) find out" Minna said and she (Sandy) smiled.

"Right, it'll be hell if he finds out" Sandy said and they burst out laughter.

"By the way, who's watching over Fred?" Sandy asked after the laughter died down.

"Ah, am supposed to" Minna answered and she (Sandy) stared at her like she (Minna) was stupid.

"You're stupid" Sandy said it out loud and she (Minna) stared at her, surprised.

She did not think she'll say that out loud.

Then again, Sandy never kept these kinds of things to herself.

"I'm leaving now" Minna said, got up and quietly walked away.

                     ************🐺🐺*******

Time (Around 1pm)

"Okay, so, we'll leave now. Earlier, we'll be back tomorrow evening" Dr Jones said.

In front of the Even's house, at the front door stood Devlin and Carlos, facing Dr Jones.

Behind Dr Jones, a few steps away stood Even.

One of the SUV behind him (Even).

Josh was taking them.

Turns out, Dr Jones can't examine Even without some equipments and those couldn't be found in the pack.

No choice, they had to go out of town.

Dr Jones said he knew someone who could help.

Someone who had these equipments and that's why they were leaving.

Looking at Even, Devlin realized his (Even) eyes were on him too.

*Sigh, Devlin really wanted to go with them but that just wasn't possible.

He shouldn't be close with Even.

Couldn't leave town.

Not when he was so suspicious.

Not when he knew so much but wouldn't tell.

"Is okay, I'll be back in no time" Even said to him (Devlin), an assuring smile on his face.

*Sigh, what should he do?

His mate (Even) wasn't convincing him.

"Let's go" Dr Jones said.

And Devlin watched as they got in the car, feeling hopeless, useless.

And his mate kept waving at him, a smile on his face.

That alone, made him (Devlin) feel a little better.

"Don't worry too much, he'll be back soon" Carlos said, trying to comfort him.

Watching the car as it drove away, Devlin said, "I miss him already"

Okay!

He has gotten enough of this!!

All those sweet words! Sweet moments!

Dog foods!

When was he (Carlos) going to find his mate?!

These people (Lvan, Chris, Colten and Devlin) with mates (Tristan, Jake ad Even) were driving him crazy!!.

Making him feel lonelier!

Enough!

Enough of this!!

"Let's go in" Carlos said, annoyed as he made his way into the house.

Devlin stood, staring up at the sky.

They wanted to know everything he knew.

But he couldn't say a word until Harley was back with him.

And this brought up another question.

Was it a good idea to bring Harley here?

No one liked him.

The pack hated vampires.

And he......hasn't said a word about her (Harley) to Even.

Was it really a good idea to bring her here?
