Alvin immediately took Maria’s body to the nearest clinic to get immediate treatment. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, Maria only got a minor injury on her forehead which caused bleeding. More than that, the reason Maria fainted was because the woman was too shocked by the incident she had just experienced.

“Thank you, Doctor.” Alvin said after the doctor finished giving treatment to Maria.

“Is she your woman?” asked the doctor, he was already quite familiar with Alvin, this doctor was a special doctor assigned to the secret agent clinic where Alvin worked.

“No.”

“Then how could there be a woman who would stupidly risk her life for you?”

Alvin’s jaw tightened, this was the second time this woman risked her life for him in such a stupid way, and for some reason Alvin was so very upset now. He held Maria’s hand so tightly, for some reason there was a feeling of fear of losing her in a very annoying way. Alvin closed his eyes many times, he promised to do anything as long as this woman was safe. Yes, he promised!

“I will agree to your request.” Alvin said and tore the silence, his jaw tightened then he turned to the woman who had just regained consciousness.

Maria who heard Alvin's sudden change of decision tried to get up. However, the pain in her head almost made Maria collapse, Maria then leaned her head, holding her head which really hurt.

"Are you serious?" Maria asked. Trying to find the truth there, and hoping that what Alvin said was real.

Maria's facial expression changed, her sweet smile behind her pale face was real. With tears in her eyes Maria thanked Alvin many times.

The man stood up, he raised his face, and put both of his hands in his pants pockets.

“Just tell me what should I do.” Alvin told.

Maria smiled widely. As if all her strength rose, Maria sat down with a feeling of absolute relief.

“First of all I have to ask you to be my personal bodyguard, because I’m sure your boss won’t let you go out freely without working, right?”

Alvin just kept quiet, a sign that he agreed with what Maria said. And without waiting long, they returned to the headquarters where Alvin worked, then she personally asked Alvin’s boss to give permission.

Of course with Alvin's approval the permission was granted. Alvin was assigned to be Maria's personal bodyguard for six months, and within those six months Maria had to resolve all her problems in the Barnet family, and more than that Maria had to ensure that within six months Miller had woken up from his coma.

"Second, I will take you to my cottage. I happen to have a private cottage here." Maria spoke again after the two of them left Alvin's headquarters.

Maria turned her body, then she examined Alvin who was still wearing his warm coat.

“Your face is exactly the same as Miller’s, but there are some things that are different.”

Maria now approached Alvin, then she touched Alvin’s jaw with her tiny fingers.

“Your jaw is much more defined than Miller’s, and your gaze is so very cold. You always knit your eyebrows, as if you are reluctant to smile, your body is much more muscular than Miller’s, and your hands are much rougher than his.”

“Do I have to look like a woman?” Alvin was annoyed.

Maria shook her head, then she looked back at Alvin seriously.

“You don’t know the Barnet family, even the smallest details of your life barely escape their correction.” Alvin remained silent, and Maria still looked worried. “I have to teach you how Miller walks, how Miller talks, how Miller makes facial expressions, how Miller drinks, and how Miller writes.”

Alvin now raised one eyebrow. Interesting, he even had to imitate exactly all the basic behaviors of someone Alvin didn’t know at all.

“I hate imitating someone.”

“That’s your job, Alvin!”

Alvin was silent.

“Come on, please. I need your cooperation. Right now, all the Barnett know is that Miller is on a business trip to Berlin, and they’ll never find out when he’ll be back. You still have time for all that, right?”

Alvin exhaled in annoyance, then he didn’t answer anything else but stepped closer to his car.

“You don’t need to bring a car, just take mine. My people will send you Miller’s car, then you should go home with that car.”

“Okay, Miss Addison. I will write everything down properly.”

Maria smiled, then she invited Alvin to get into her car. The two of them immediately headed to Maria's cottage.

When they arrived at the cottage, Maria rushed to invite Alvin to a room, then she pulled the mosquito net of the room after she turned on the lights, and there were rows of men's clothes neatly arranged.

"These are all clothes that Miller often wears, from now on you can wear them. I hope with this you can play your role well, and I hope your sizes are not too different."

Alvin smiled wryly again. “I’m not as skinny as him.” He answered half mockingly.

Maria immediately invited Alvin to sit down, then she showed him some of Miller’s handwriting and signature.

“Why should I copy all this?”

“After we get married, all the assets owned by the Barnet family will fall entirely into Miller’s hands. Therefore, I don’t want the Barnet family to suspect that you can’t imitate Miller’s signature, Alvin.”

Alvin was silent for a moment. Even though all the assets were given to Miller in their entirety, wasn’t there a single space in the Barnet family for him?

Alvin tried to imitate Miller’s writing style and signature, and it didn’t take long for the man to be able to do it perfectly.

“Bravo! You even did it easily! Now I will teach you how to walk, eat, drink, and introduce all the members of the Barnet family through the photos I have.”

“It seems that my job is too difficult, and your money is not enough to make me feel satisfied, Miss Addison.” Alvin looked at Maria with a sharp gaze, so that Maria, who did not understand what Alvin said, raised one eyebrow.

“Say, I have a lot of money you know? Just tell me how much money you want, I will give you whatever. Didn’t I say that from the start?”

“Unfortunately I don’t need your money.” Alvin stood up then stepped closer to Maria, the woman who had been sitting immediately fell perfectly when Alvin was right in front of her.

“Then what do you want?” Maria asked, she gripped the chair she was sitting on then she swallowed hard. Would Alvin ask for Miller’s position? Ask for all the inheritance that fell into Miller’s hands to be his?

Alvin brought his mouth close to Maria’s ear. With his deep voice Alvin answered, “I want to sleep with you.”
