My Step Brother's Revenge

"Let's get this over with," I muttered under my breath and followed my girls to a booth, while trying desperately to ignore the turning in my stomach. 

If I had a choice, I wouldn't be sitting in the midst of these girls who had dared me to find a stranger and make out with him. But I lived a boring life and my best friend, Ivory, had suggested that this could be the fun I had always been looking for. 

As soon as we sat down, I immediately regretted listening to her. We had barely sat down when my girls started looking around the room, trying to pick the best guy for me to make out with. 

I stared at them in disgust. How could they be excited by the idea of making out with a stranger? I prayed silently for the alcohol to arrive and as soon as it did, I down every drop of mine and even drank Ivory's own. If I was going to do this, I was not going to do it with sober eyes. 

Still, the alcohol did not stop my feelings of anxiety from going on a rampage and at a point I felt like hurling my entire guts out. 

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom!" I stood up dizzily and announced strongly. 

"I'm coming with you," Ivory said and followed me. Probably to make sure that I don't run away. I sighed loudly and walked away with her.

I didn't waste much time in the bathroom and I left silently, without letting Ivory know. 

I tiptoed and slowly opened the bathroom door. I had almost escaped the scene when I bumped into something hard. It smelt like oak mixed with vanilla and it had a faint scent of aftershave. I looked up slowly, curious to see the kind of door I had run into when my eyes met with the most captivating blue eyes I have ever seen. 

"Damn!" The words left my lips before I could even notice and the man standing before me smiled. As soon as I saw his brazing white teeths, I almost fell to the floor. Fortunately, he was as quick as he was handsome and he held me up. 

His arms were strong and I got a strange feeling of satisfaction and security in them. 

"Are you okay?" He said and I drooled at how deep and soothing his voice was. 

"Yes. I am now." I said, blushing. "You know, you are very handsome." I knew it was definitely the alcohol talking because I would never say such a thing to a stranger. 

"Well, you don't look so bad yourself," he said and I blushed even harder. 

"Can you please kiss me?" I asked and I did not even get a chance to take my words back because he suddenly covered my lips with his and I felt butterflies in my stomach. 

"Ohh!" The sound of my best friend standing behind us made us pull apart and I hid my face in his shirt, not desperate to allow my best friend to see me blushing so hard. 

"Do you mind if we go back to my hotel room?" The man I had suddenly found safety in said and I did not say no. 

He held my hands and took me outside to where his car was parked. He had a driver and I immediately knew that he was rich but I did not care about that. I wanted to be under this man, screaming in pleasure. 

He did not wait for us to even get to his hotel room. He couldn't keep his hands off me and we savored every part of each other from the car to the hotel room. I did not know this man but I gladly gave him my virginity because he sparked a flame in me that no man ever did before.

The sound of my phone ringing woke me up and I sluggishly picked it up to see a call from my mom. 

"Where the hell are you?!" She screamed as soon as I answered. 

"Mom," my voice was very low but mom must have been too worried that I would miss her party to notice. 

"I told you that today is when we are meeting my husband and his son and you are not here by this time. Where the hell are you?" 

"I'm on my way," was all I said before I ended the call. I turned to look at the man sleeping next to me. He looked like one of those top paying models I usually see in magazines, but I knew that someone like him would never go for someone like me. He looked like a silver fox and I decided that when I told the story to my friends, that is what I would call him.

To spare myself the humiliation of getting thrown out, I snuck out and went over to my mother's. I arrived just in time to freshen up and set up the table for the breakfast that my mom had prepared to introduce her new husband and his son to her daughter. 

We were just adding finishing touches when we heard the doorbell. 

"That must be them. Behave yourself!" Mom warn me and walked away to meet her guest. 

From the dining table, I could hear their voices but I made no move to go and meet them. I wasn't particularly happy about my mother's new man and I waited patiently till they came to meet us. 

As soon as they walked in, my heart stopped beating.

"Silver fox," I muttered to myself as I watched the man that had made me feel like a woman a few hours ago standing in my dining room. 

"Olivia, meet my husband Xavier and his son, your step brother, Daniel."

"What?" I said softly, ignoring the grin that was plastered on Daniel's face. 

"Yeah and I have more exciting news for you." Mom said, ignorant of my uncomfortable look. 

"Since you guys are going to the same college, my husband and I have decided to get the same penthouse for both of you to live-in together!" She announced and my eyes widened with fear as I looked at Daniel, whose smile frightened me the most. 

It was going to be a long school year.
