I paced the room , anxious for Elijah to come up.

"or perhaps I should go down to see him?" I wondered out loud and shook my head against it. He was with his father now, and whatever had made him walk away from those mothers and children could not have been good.

But what I had seen, his father had handled it well.

But he looked so angry and I only longed to comfort him. Perhaps the meeting with the elders had not gone well as well?

Personally, I would have loved to go to the meeti
