Chapter 21

Nathan’s pov

Blind rage filled me after seeing Lexi bloody and unconscious after the accident.

My Lycan, Vukas immediately took over my thoughts and had no disregard for the humans who were gasping in horror.

After heading to the driver's side door of the person responsible his only thoughts were of Lexi. Ripping the door from its hinges I jerked the bastard from behind the wheel.

In hindsight, I should have warned him to back off instead of rearranging his guts I thought as I stood up and wiped my bloody clawed hands on my pants.

Nolan said trees and I glanced around the buildings and gritted my teeth as the sirens wailed in the distance.

Starting to jog from the wreckage a few humans shouted at me to stop and I shook my head.

“I don't think so, peasants,” I growled.

Picking up my pace and heading in the direction Nolan had, I stopped by a pool of red blood and cursed.

Fearing that Lexi was mortally wounded I searched my back pockets for my cell phone.
